it's on Internet. The email for cbn is cpd@cbn.gov.ng, but they need confirmation that you reported to your bank and they act.
U dont need zenith exec email. Just write a letter to the branch manager of the branch you want to submit the letter to. Take it to their customer care, let them stamp it and photocopy it and give you a copy.
They will log it on their system, and if they didnt tell you, ask them when you will get response. If they tell u 1 week, just give them the week, after that 1 week, nothing, just email that address. Works like magic. Worked for me when a bank was wasting my time and didnt want to refund me my money. Immediately after reporting them, they called me and apologised, next i got alert.

I've just bleeped up this morning. I received a WhatsApp message from a foreign number saying my lost Mi9T is currently online. The person produced a link to check its present location, but I was skeptical on using it as the one I currently use from Mi still says my phone hasn't been online for about 3 months now, however, I did notice the battery level had dropped to 20% from 99%.

I begrudgingly used the link after making some searches online to confirm its authenticity.

Suffix to say my mi account on the lost phone has been signed out and I can no longer track its location

This has been a very funny experience and I should have followed my instincts.

I guess I was too excited to know where my phone is and I let my emotions override logic.

PS: The link he provided mimics the original link (us.i.mi.com), and I fully grasped the extent of the damage after I logged out and it went straight to a URL from apple which I suspect is fake (applied.apple.com).

If your MI Account is active, Bootloader cant be unlocked. the Phone cant be downgraded and Cant be flashed through fastboot due to the Bootloader, If the theif is flashing through EDL, he would need an MI Authorised Account, which is very expensive to get. If he wants to bypass the MI Cloud, he has to live the VPN for the rest of the Lifes Phone, VPN would keep shutting down from time to time. he wont enjoy it. but its still tackable if you can log in to ur MI Account.
