HealthRe: Why Is That Nigerian Girls Don't Fear STD? by lowkeybahdguy(m):
Aswear this thing has been on my mind lately. I have one girl in her early 20s that we've been having mind blowing sex. I knew she had a bf before we started but according to her, the bf was far away. I assumed a different state. Until babe became preggo recently. During interrogation she confessed i wasn't responsible (I never came in her) and that I wasn't the only one flogging her, but that she had had unprotected sex with 2 other guys and myself within the past month. In my mind I just said Fck. Ps. She is not a street girl. Infact she's a graduate currently working on a post graduate program. She was more scared by the pregnancy than STDs. Since then I've been avoiding her, however since she's about to travel away for good I've been tempted to cane her one last time but the thought of her sexual history traumatizes me. Ps. I have been with prostitutes and CD was always used. E come be like say ashawo safe pass gf. God airpus o

PoliticsRe: Yorubas Are The Problem With Nigeria – Sanusi Lamido Sanusi by lowkeybahdguy(m): 8:27pm On Jun 15, 2021
Ladumaa:
Yorubas are the Problem with Nigeria – By Sanusi Lamido Sanusi.

In sum, the Yoruba political leadership, has shown itself over the years to be incapable of rising above narrow tribal interests and reciprocating goodwill from other sections of the country by treating other groups with respect. Practically every crisis in Nigeria since independence has its roots in this attitude.

So much truth in one paper.

i. The Yoruba elite and area-boy politics;
ii. Igbo marginalisation and the responsible limits of retribution; and
iii. The Yoruba Factor and “Area-boy” Politics.

The Yoruba elite were the first, in 1962, to attempt a violent overthrow of an elected government in this country. In 1966, it was the violence in the West which provided an avenue for the putsch of 15th January. After Chief Awolowo lost to Shagari in 1983 elections, it was the discontent and bad publicity in the South-West which led to the Buhari intervention.

For so many years, the Yoruba have inundated this country with stories of being marginalised and of a civil service dominated by northerners through quota system. The Federal Character Commission has recently released a report which shows that the South-West accounts for 27.8% of civil servants in the range GL08 to GL14 and a full 29.5% of GL 15 and above. One zone out of six zones controls a full 30% of the civil service leaving the other five zones to share the remaining 70%. We find the same story in the economy, in academia, in parastatals.

the greatest problem to nation-building in Nigeria are the Yoruba Bourgeoisie. I say this also to underscore my point that until they change this attitude, no conference can solve the problems of Nigeria. We cannot move forward if the leadership of one of the largest ethnic groups continues to operate, not like statesmen, but like common area boys.

iii.The Igbo Factor and the Reasonable Limits of Retribution.

this nation must realise that Igbos have been defeated in war, rendered paupers by monetary policy fiat, their properties declared abandoned and confiscated, kept out of strategic public sector appointments and deprived of public services. The rest of the country forced them to remain in Nigeria and has continued to deny them equity

The Northern Bourgeoisie and the Yoruba Bourgeoisie have conspired to keep the Igbo out of the scheme of things. In the recent transition when the Igbo solidly supported the PDP in the hope of an Ekwueme presidency, the North and South-West treated this as a Biafra agenda. Every rule set for the primaries, every gentleman´s agreement was set aside to ensure that Obasanjo, not Ekwueme emerged as the candidate. Things went as far as getting the Federal Government to hurriedly gazette a pardon. Now, with this government, the marginalistion of the Igbo is more complete than ever before. The Igbos have taken all these quietly But the nation is sitting on a time-bomb.

After the First World War, the victors treated Germany with the same contempt Nigeria is treating Igbos. Two decades later, there was a Second World War, far costlier than the first. Germany was again defeated, but this time, they won a more honourable peace. Our present political leaders have no sense of History. There is a new Igbo man, who was not born in 1966 and neither knows nor cares about Nzeogwu and Ojukwu. There are Igbo men on the street who were never Biafrans. They were born Nigerians, are Nigerians, but suffer because of actions of earlier generations. They will soon decide that it is better to fight their own war, and may be find an honourable peace, than to remain in this contemptible state in perpetuity.

The Northern Bourgeoisie and the Yoruba Bourgeoisie have exacted their pound of flesh from the Igbos. For one Sardauna, one Tafawa Balewa, one Akintola and one Okotie-Eboh, hundreds of thousands of igbos have died and suffered

If this issue is not addressed immediately, no debate will solve Nigeria´s problems.

Jobs/VacanciesRe: How Did You Handle Job Hunting Rejection Emails? by lowkeybahdguy(m): 1:00pm On Jun 11, 2021
Rejection mails are never an easy thing to deal with. I recently spent 60k on accommodation and logistics for a job interview with 7 figures monthly remuneration. I made it past two stages but was dropped at the third. It was gut wrenching. Took about a week to get it out my system.

Rejection mails come a dime a dozen.

Personally, I am very critical of myself as I hold myself to very high standards. You can only imagine what such does to one's mental health.
PoliticsRe: Friday Olokor Of The Punch Newspaper Brutalized By Police, DSS Operatives by lowkeybahdguy(m):
I had an encounter with the DSS some weeks to my pop as a corper then. It was a rainy evening and I trekked a considerable distance to a local pharmacy to get some drugs. I was casually strolling on the side of the road when a Hilux roughly drove by and almost knocked me down. The vehicle stopped some metres ahead of me.
Irked by the reckless driving I accosted the driver on his reckless driving. These two burly individuals came out and pounced on me for daring to question them. That night I fought these two rogues to a stand still. They probably (mis)took me for a lame duck and were forming macho DSS agents.
Conincidentally, everything happened in front of the DSS base.
They attempted to drag me into their base but instead I held on to them by the scruff of their miserable necks, dragging them away from the gate and towards passers-by who saw everything that happened and who I thought would interfare or lend a helping hand against the unjust oppression by the DSS officers. Sadly, nobody lifted a finger or raised a voice to help. Nigerians and their chickenshit liver were too scared to interfere.
After about 15-20 minutes of rancourous jostling between the three of us, a second hilux suddenly stopped and the lone occupant, another DSS officer, came out with a horsewhip. It was at this point I yielded my resolve and let go of the almost torn shirts of the two bastards because by now I was almost out of breath and overpowered. The first bastard having now found his strength in company, brushed my legs from under me and they forced me to kneel down. When eventually everything was narrated to the third officer, I was let go because I was never at fault.
I left with my favorite winter jacket torn and my knee slightly bruised but with my head high because I did not cower in the face of oppression. I took mental note of the car's plate number and I openly boasted to their faces that the night was not the end of the affair (very stupid move in hindsight because I was still in front of their base). I also cursed all the bystanders for not interfering, swearing that their loved ones would suffer the injustice I had suffered that night (not that I believe in the efficacy of swears).

I was more disappointed in the bystanders who stood back and watched a fellow citizens oppressed than the officers who attempted to oppression me. Looking back now, I think maybe I was lucky they were not armed that time (throughout the fight I never saw a gun with them; maybe they left their guns in the car) because I could have been shot without remorse for defending the freedom of chickenshit livered citizens.

I walked home in the rain. If I could, I would have cried under the rain.

I went to their head office the next day (not their base) to see the OC Legal to report the misconduct of the officers. At the gate, the 3rd officer met me at the gate but I refused to exchange pleasantries with him because I'm sure he knew why I was there that afternoon. Unfortunately I didn't get to see who I intended to see. I eventually dropped my quest for vengeance because I was a corper close to pop. I thought it best to live out the remainder of my service days in peace.
I have been embittered by this experience. I have only shared the experience with my mother ever since. My father doesn't even know of this. I didn't tell my boss who was the DPP of State then, I never told any of my fellow corpers about my experience. Maybe they wouldn't believe me, or they'll call me a hot-headed warri boy.

Why am I saying all this? I don't know. But I feel good to have let this off my chest and to share my experience with others who have suffered same. YOU ARE NOT ALONE.
RomanceRe: Why Do Boys Do This? by lowkeybahdguy(m): 12:11am On Jun 10, 2021
Hintona:
When a girl is passing by a group of boys why do they suddenly become silent?
You can't talk when your mouth is full unless you want the food to fall out of your mouth.

In simple terms, such males may be busy pondering the vast go-between before taking the leap of faith. These encounters usually last only for fleeting seconds, and in that time the male participant has to evaluate the female, the (social) circumstances of the meeting, the cost benefit analysis of flirting with her and so many other considerations; all done mentally within fleeting moments of the encounter. This may be one factor for the experience(s) you have had.
PoliticsRe: Is This Racist? by lowkeybahdguy(m): 12:00am On Jun 10, 2021
Hintona:
I posted this on an ARCHAEOLOGY group on Facebook, and almost all the WHITE MEN (mostly Americans) in the group attacked me and called me racist and Afrocentric. They turned it into a white/black issue when clearly that's not even what the picture implies.

Seriously I don't even know how African Americans cope in the US everything is about race.
You touched a sensitive nerve. You'll have to be a bimbo not to realize that while you did not have racist intentions, your post nonetheless was aimed at a specific race; which may easily be (mis)interpreted to be racist.

Addressing the post itself, there is no denying the mindset of white superiority and black inferiority projected by western media (deep-rooted bias from the slave legacies) and widely acknowledged in contemporary circles. Thus, taking the shine away from supposed 'white' civilization which has strutted about like the peacock on the strength of their 'inventions' over decades, touched sensitive nerves. Basic human instinct in responding to perceived threats or dangers to their continued well-being (ego), is to lash out. This was the result your 'white' audience exhibited.
