25% of my PF was N1,084,500 at eApr meaning CIC used N274.487 as exchange rate while I had used 277 or 278 on Xe.com upon submission. In essence, what they calculated as POF for me was even higher than what I calculated for them.
According to my gcms notes, the exchange rate used for conversion was 278naira to 1cad so it probably fluctuates just like the black market rates cc @MrOba

Hello,

Did you get a specific reason for your denial? Don't they just give a generic denial letter to everyone? Please do tell me how to get more info on US Visa refusal.
Thanks
See ehn! Me sef I’m confused; for all that person knows, that’s probably not even the reason he was denied. If you’re going to write an LOE all you have to state is the reason that was given to you in that generic blue slip, not whatever you’ve imagined was going through the VO’s head when he/she gave it to you (unless of course you were actually given a specific reason; in which case you should also state it.) cc Barryston

But I already made payment for WES and the UI verification part has been completed. Just wanted to be sure if the RN certificate will add any advantage to my Express Entry.

I also change the document by document to course by course instead. The reason is I might be using it for Nursing society in Canada.
Lol you changed it to course by course? So now that you need document by document what will you use?

Really??

OMG that is going to be really stressful for me.

Thanks though
Why would it be stressful... More likely than not, documents will not be requested for activities that you list under personal history. But it states that you should list all the activities you've undertaken in the last 10 years; so for whatever reason you think it'll be stressful, consider how stressful living in Nigeria is if you fail to be truthful and are caught.

It’s a scam, if you like hear. If not start filling the forms that were sent to you. When you’re done, you’ll count your losses and then come back to hear.

You need your POF as soon as your get your AOR. However, you will need to prove that the fund are yours and not borrowed. Since they ask for the prior 6-month statements, they will see if the minimum required funds have been added in on lump sum. You will need to prove the origins of the funds if you are in that situation. You should check this link on how you can prove origin: https://www.justforcanada.com/settlement-funds.html
AOR means ‘Acknowledgement of Receipt’ of your submitted application. If you don’t have your POF correct and complete before you submit your application then there’s nothing to submit. And it should remain correct and complete till you get to Canada.

1) Her assessment is to be done by PEBC as a Pharmacist if she wants to continue practice over there. And I don't PEBC will require WAEC. If she doesn't want to go tru the whole PEBC process for now, she can assess with other bodies, like WES shd also give her an equivalent of professional degree. If she is doing the WES option , then she also needs WAEC
She can only forgo PEBC if her work experience isn’t in NOC 3131.

Hello my people, pls I need an interpretation of the below question in crs tool.

6) Work Experience
i. In the last ten years, how many years of skilled work experience in Canada do you have?

1. Pls is it work experience 'INSIDE' Canada or 'OUTSIDE' Canada. I believe that it is work experience either INSIDE or OUTSIDE Canada but in a field under the NOC but someone is trying to confuse me saying it's work experience INSIDE Canada. Hence my coming to the house to confirm.
No shade, but I really want to know why you believe it’s either inside or outside. Considering that the question clearly says “in Canada” and also in light of the fact that your interpretation would render the next question on the CRS tool redundant.

Good day all, please i have a question regarding PCC. My spouse spent more than 6 months in a row in Congo in 2006( which is more than 10 years ago). Are we to get PCC from Congo despite the fact that it is more than 10 years ago?

I believe you are mixing things up. " masters' evaluation is relative. For degrees that are professional e.g pharmacy and Law; it takes point higher than "two or more certificates, but for nonprofessional degrees like physics and business administration it counts for the " two or more certificates point".
Your “belief” is utterly wrong.

To be honest, there’s no need for outrage. Immediately I see a post that appears fraudulent, I report it and it’s what everyone should do. It’s the Nigerian mentality of having to always admonish people that causes non-discussions like this to occur. If the first person that saw it just reported it, there would be no need for all these explanations. Anyone that wants to act in a criminal manner should go ahead and find out the consequences for themselves.

I filled NO.
You filled yes because as you can see from your own screenshot you got 50 points for it. That CRS calculator is not a timed exam, take your time and read the questions. Also that’s not the eligibility tool as you said in your initial post, it’s just a score calculator.

Plagiarismhuhhuh? cheesy

Sharing information now is plagiarismhuh When some people have obviously refused to read for themselves or even research and someone selflessly does that for them it's now plagiarismhuh? Is this intellectual property thread abi visa? What we do here is share information and experiences. We are not manufacturing our own process hence nothing here is original new.
Add source of info... I agree but plagiarism (how many times have I typed this word sef.... I tire)

Good morning
It’s probably just one extra line to indicate source. It’s actually plagiarism not to (by the actual definition of the word) and I’m sure even the original poster didn’t view it as a malicious comment... we truly need to learn to do things properly going into a new country. It was a teachable moment for everyone and I think the lesson should be noted.
Thanks for coming to my Tedtalk wink

Let's just watch and wait for them to confirm their intent. I accessed this link from my profile account. It gives the info posted here earlier that we need biometrics.
Yeah I did as well, it was when I clicked the “How do I know if....” that it redirected to the other one. So I guess there’s nothing to do but wait on the official word for clarification.

From all indications right now sha it's a compulsory biometric something for all of us embarassed embarassed embarassed
According to this tweet you quoted, that means the information about applications submitted before 31st July not requiring biometrics is the correct one.

Hello, was the report delivered to your address or you had to go to the post office?
My address. However, there’s a post office within the same compound, so I suppose that’s why it was dropped off; can’t say for sure though.

P.s. : Congratulations to everyone that got PPR!. smiley

Can i as well use that of the USA address as a cheaper option than to send it to Nigeria which would cost me an additional 85 dollars each, and make use of the soft copy in filling EE profile and possible use it for post ITA as well i.e( downloading the soft copy, print it and scan )it for without resulting to the hard copy that would be mailed to the US.I ask this because it would cost me additional 46,000naira or more to have WES mail my report and that of my wife through a courier service.
And house please does anyone knows if Anambra State University responds to email sent to them for confirmation from WES on time. so i can know if i should use IQAS TO verify wifey's result.
Thirdly which is a more reliable means of payment to WES, credit card, western union etc ?
@newmum0615, thanks for your response on my earlier post. i appreciate.
Lool download a pdf, print then scan? That’s funny.
Anyway you only need the soft copy both pre and post ITA and you can just pay 7 dollars to have it posted by standard mail to Nigeria, got mine a few days ago even though I didn’t need it anymore.
Pay with your debit MasterCard (make sure to use the same address your bank account was opened with)

How long till the mail drops?

I have medicals booked for tomorrow morning....is there enough time for ita to drop before my scheduled appointment or I need to reschedule (24hrs b4)
You don't need ITA before medicals though. Did mine two weeks ago, and I just created a profile last Friday.
In other news, your mail should come soon I suppose; just got mine grin.

@Luce, i evaluated with WES. I don't recall any stage like "we are authenticating your report" stage. My report came on the day they said it would be complete and only then did i jump into the pool.

Some people are lucky to have theirs come out a day (this is what most people say) before the due date.

I've not heard of reports coming out 2/3 days before due date but it is not impossible. But more than anything else, I would say be patient. It is better to wait another week or so until your turn comes than than to jump in with a wrong reference or a forged one.
Thank you.
Tbh I'm still confused as to how anyone got the impression that that's what I was tryna do. I honestly had to go back and reexamine my question and I'm still lost.
I even specifically asked ifeoma77 cos I noticed hers came a few days earlier than estimated and I was just trying to figure out if I could possibly get it in time for the draw tomorrow (like guitarlife I think got his) but I suppose in the absence of context everyone is free to let their imaginations run wild.
Thanks for being mild with your caution though; albeit unnecessary, the approach is appreciated smiley.

I've kinda given up by now though.
Two weeks time draw it is...I'll just hold the record for fastest ITA to AOR lol, cos all my other documents for submission will be fully locked and loaded then.

Are we expecting a draw tomorrow? is that why you don't want to wait until Friday when they said it will be ready??
Yes, exactly. I suppose there's to be a draw, no?
Lol, I don't really think I would have much of a say concerning waiting or not. Just wondering.
