ysteph: What's this about? My WES evaluation report? |
Travel › Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 4 by Luce: 10:19am On Jun 05, 2018 |
@ifeoma77 please disregard the pm I just tried to initiate; I'll just ask my question here.
My Wes status has been stuck on "we are evaluating your report" since the 18th of May. My estimated completion date is this Friday 8/6/18, however I'm trying to project the possibility of it being ready between today and tomorrow morning. So my question is this, is there any other stage between this stage I'm at i.e "evaluating your report" and the completion of the report? For instance, a "we are authenticating your report" stage ( I feel like I saw that somewhere) or is it still probable that I might get the report at least 2 days ahead of schedule? i.e. Today/Tomorrow. |

SkyWalk12: But it isn’t needed for medicals. It makes sense to create your profile and wait for ITA before medicals but it isn’t a must. Upfront medicals do not require profile details.
I think the original asker is the person that has to leave Naij soon but will like to do medicals here cos much cheaper. Oh so I can actually go ahead with it pre-profile creation. Thanks a lot. Btw, the actual reason is cos my WES report is the only thing that's been delaying me for awhile and all things being equal, I should get an ITA once that's ready so I would like to be prepared. |

Please just to clarify something I read here. Can I do my medicals for EE even without creating a profile? I know someone said it could be done pre-ITA but I haven't even created a profile yet (thanks to WES) but once that's ready I would like to have all my docs in a row already (get it? Lol) Thanks. |

Benny247: Good afternoon e-Fam,
Secondly, can I book for medical or even do it before submitting my application after getting ITA?
Thank you. If you don't do it after ITA and before submitting, what then do you intend to submit? |

Newbeecey: Thanks Flaj
1) I thought so too, if however my CRS after he becomes accompanying with the relevant details would still have gotten me into the pool, would that still come off as being fraudulent? 2) Thanks 3) What is TRF number and how do I get it? 3) Test report form .... The number is stated on your "paper results"; with BC anyway... Dunno if IDP puts theirs online. |

Jades27: Good Afternoon Good People, I created my express entry profile earlier in the year my score is 419, I have been trying to boost the score and trying the pnp options, long story short a friend told me I could add the job I was doing while in school to my work experience as I was a part-time student. This I did and the my status as since be showing "Update Not Submitted". I need your advise if anyone has had such experience, what you did or do I edit and remove the work experience since I did put it initially.
Thank you Not sure you're allowed to claim points for pre-graduation work experience. Better confirm before you submit. |

Oh! Doc., congratulations. I want to be like you . Let's chat, please. x Thank you For listening and reading, I don't have any tips tbh. I just wrote what I heard and I'm generally a fast reader, so I had time to finish and look over my work but I can't really say that I have any concrete tips about those two. For writing, I watched a few videos on YouTube E2 language with Jay and I honestly was blessed that the questions that came out needed the same format of answers as the videos I watched for both task 1 and 2 because I kinda got bored after watching just a few; so I would recommend watching those. Make sure to do a word count intermittently too. For speaking, as you can see it wasn't exactly my strong suit. However, I think I know what happened. When asked "describe a time when you had to save up for something..." (and even generally during the speaking test), I didn't really use a variety of tenses, I just answered like I would normally (mainly cos I got comfy with the examiner and was flowing freely like it was a gist session.lol) but I would advise that where possible, try to vary your tenses as well as slide in some phrases..."To the best of my knowledge", "While currently not feasible, in the future I would like to..."(this would have been a perfect way to answer one of the questions I was asked, but I just answered like I was talking to my friend.lol). So in essence, try to be conscious of vocabulary while maintaining a smooth flow of speech. Dunno if this'll be any help but there you have it. |

In societies, more and more people are moving to out to live alone. What are the reasons for these? Is it positive or negative trend?
Opinion Essay or Double Question Essay?
Thanks. The question was "what DO YOU think are the reasons" ergo asking for your opinion but the next line is also a question,so I would say it was both. |

Eilenora: Hello guys.
Av been a silent observer and learnt so much from this thread. Kudos 2 everyone for their input amd ensuring the thread is active and alive.
Pls i want to make enquiry about smthn. With regards to work experiece and noc, so I have about 6years experience in the noc i want to use (law). But the past 1 year av bn doing somthn completely different from my noc (travels). Then a month ago i registerd a company in line with my noc (law firm). So in completing my profile, i filled just the 6 years and now self employed under my own company, but there's now that 1 year gap in btwn. What do you suggest I do to make up for this? To the best of my knowledge, if you're only claiming points for the initial 6 years in Law (which is enough), then the year you spent in the travel business as well as this new law firm venture can come under your personal history (POST ITA I believe). I don't believe it's possible to have a time gap in your application;even if you were not working "unemployed" would be the correct answer. Hope someone else will correct this if I'm wrong. |

Good day, Concerning the issue of practicing before the date on the certificate. My certificate from unilag states 24th June (convocation date) but I started my one year internship on the 16th of June. However, I'm a dentist and my MDCN license to practice and registration are dated from my induction date (may), so I'm of the opinion that this will override the certificate date. Just wanted to drop this here for any other dentist in my shoes plus low key reassure myself. Lol. |

Please is the following update an actual "stage" in the WES eval or just a programmed update? My documents got to WES on the 1st of March and I think the status was "we're processing your documents"; however, I was meant to send a copy of my provisional Final Year results in addition to the certificate and transcripts, but apparently my contact didn't include it so I was waiting for them to ask for it or something then I checked two days ago and I saw this. Noticed someone a few days ago being happy over this "stage", so I'm wondering if this truly means that by some grace, I've bypassed the need for verification as well as the need to wait for that last document to be sent. Thanks in advance for your input

Aim4Dtop: Thank you, My husband has a degree in performing arts, 5years experience in customer care ,3 years experience in stock controlling, 2years experience and counting in management (he is currently the manager of a leading telecommunications in Nigeria) he has a management certificate with National institute of management (NIM), does this qualify him for the EE? and can he be the principal applicant? I studied performing arts and I am self employed, I am into Events management no certificate aside my first degree... As long as any of these work experiences fall into NOC 0, A or B, then he's eligible. I dunno much about NOCs but someone here should be able to help. However, the fact that he's a manager in a top telecommunications company doesn't really matter one way or the other since "3 years or more" is what maxes out the experience score, so if any of the other two are in the skill level NOC 0, A or B then he'll be better off claiming the points from them, provided he's got access to request reference letters from them and were undertaken in the past 10 years. |

I used the courier option, but now that I realize that the hard copy is possibly not strictly necessary once I get the soft copy, I'm considering requesting for a change in delivery mode...please would that be possible or I should just stick with my initial choice? Thanks. Please does anyone know about this? Thank you. |

dtush: The previous visa denial FTD seems true in most case. But u never can tell, u could be an exception. LVO is also not a death sentence. You will just exercise a lot of patience, as your application can take between 3 months to a year.
As for the dom account. Not a bad idea. The POF I used was in T-bills, which matured in between my processing time. Got an opportunity to convert the funds to dollars which I did. The dom account was opened in between my processing.
I accompanied my ADR with a well written LOE to explain and state facts Thanks alot for the reply. Treasury Bills sound like a good idea, however is it still necessary to show 6 months SOA with that?. My account has been in semi-shambles lately. Lol. Should I just start Treasury Bills now? Planning to enter the pool by early May hopefully, subject to my ECA report being ready. |

Luce: Good day all,
Please would it be pragmatic to get 100% funds transferred to a newly opened domicilliary account a month before entering the pool/ita along with a gift deed from my mum and a statement of her account ONLY from the point at which the money was transferred to me as the only Proof of Funds (I'm a dentist with 2 years experience including NYSC- might possibly claim just one year though since I get the same amount of points and I'm not interested in going to my PPA). Are there people that have used only a recently credited account and gift deeds has POF.
Also do all cases of previous visa denials go straight to LVO or that's just a common and not absolute occurrence ( I have one UK denial - funds and US denial - non specific reason)
Thanks for your anticipated responses. Please can someone answer? Thank you |

Luce: Good day, please I have a couple of questions 1) Would a post graduate diploma in occupational/environmental health be considered an academic regression following an MBBS (medical) degree 2) Say the cost of said PGD is about 2million, after the payment of the full tuition if a parent transfers 10,000CAD (living expenses) to my account accompanied by a letter/affidavit of support will the parent's statement of account still be required to prove non-lodgement of funds or the first two are sufficient?
I would greatly appreciate your responses. Thanks. Please can anybody help with an answer to the first question ? Thanks @yemdogg for your help with the second |

yemdogg: The parent's soa will be required to show that the fund was transferred from the parent to you.
The parent's soa and your soa will evince this. Thank you for your response! So then does the parent's SOA still need to be detailed (i.e. 4-6 months long?) or just long enough to show that the money was transferred to my account (e.g about 2 months worth) |
