Good morning, please I invested in treasury bill last week and I currently have have some money in the same account. Can I also invest it or is TB a one off thing that I have to wait till maturity to invest again.

There are two aptamil in the market. Which one did you give your baby. If you change her milk please kindly continue with the previous one

I didn't change her milk, she doesn't take any other thing apart from breastmilk. I'm trying to introduce her to other foods.

If so looks so weak like you said, you need a doctor to examine her. She must have lost some amount of body fluid from the vomiting hence the weakness

Then discontinue the aptamil. Her system obviously disagrees with it. She has probably lost system fluids/ electrolytes. Pls breastfeed as often to replace lost fluids.

What to administer depends on the age of your baby. If my baby is still very young and i'm breastfeeding, i eat lots and lots of vegetables. I noticed it helps my baby poos. I don't know if that theory is right but its been working. When baby is old enough, i give her oranges or prune juice

Ideally, No.

However, i found that pumping electronically without first applying some nipple cream was extremely painful for me. So i learnt not to pump while the nipples are dry. First apply a nipple cream (Lasinoh brand, or anything with Lanolin ingredient). It is safe for baby and all natural.

Please give oral solution (ORT plus Zinc) to her.
It will replace the loss electrolytes in her body due to stooling and vomiting. Breastfeed him well too.

My DS was stooling and vomiting due to overfeeding at creche recently. I didn't administer any drug, I was just giving him breast milk and ORT. He got better after the 3rd day.

So sorry mama, did you change her milk brand? Or this is the first time shes taking formula aside from breast milk? Please if you did, go and look for the old brand and give to your baby and the stooling will stop. Babies react to change of fomula. And if its not, her system doesn't like the formula.

This is the first time I'm giving her this formula. I have even thrown the formula away. I haven't been this so scared in my life.

My friend traveled from awka to Lagos with her one month old baby and they are doing fine.

Mamas please help me, I gave my one month old baby Similac and she has been vomiting and stooling, we took her to hospital yesterday, the doctor said shes reacting to the food that she will be fine once the food is no longer in her system. He doesn't want to prescribe any drugs because shes too small to be given all these antibiotics. We should go home and monitor her, that she's going to be fine as long as she's not running temperature. Now she's still stooling and looking weak, I don't know what to do.

Try baby tribotan. I apply generously or mix with vaseline, although my son never had serious nappy rash. Most importantly you need to air her bum, you can place any towel underneath her to absorb urine, you can equally line the bed with macintosh or underlay pad. By now you can guess when she poops, as most babies poop after feeding, so try to air her bum when you least expect her to poop.

Air the bum and stay off diapers till she's healed. Use baby tribotan as suggested and make sure to get a base cream to apply before wearing her diapers.
Change your brand of diaper cos some babies react negatively to some brands e.g. red huggies, try not to leave a diaper on for too long even if it's just once or twice she peed on it.
