Nan 1 is safe, just ensure optimum hygiene. Milk production is primarily based on demand and supply, the more your baby sucks, the more milk is produced. Continue putting baby to breast, rest well, drink PLENTY warm fluids, especially water, take oats, pap.

Breast milk production is more of demand and supply thing.. the more you put to breast , the more the production.

That been said, an healthy baby is the ultimate goal and not every body get to do exclusive breast feeding ..

Please don’t feel guilty or less of a mother..

Increase your fluid intake, rest well, oats, pap, bitter leaf soup, fenugreek, amala.

Rofemiguwa also makes lactation cookies and it’s very effective...

I'm clueless about exclusive breastfeeding. Don't even know whether to do exclusive breastfeeding since I produce less breast milk. My baby is 5 days old, how do I produce enough milk.
I use Nestle NAN Optipro 1 . I don't even know how safe it is for my baby.

If your doctor is saying your baby is big from a scan, did he order for a pelvimetry to check the type of pelvis you have and if the baby can pass through then you make an informed decision..

My second boy was born 4.2kg by vaginal delivery , the scan I did that morning have baby’s Weight as 3.1kg..

As much as late scan is not accurate in regards to weight and the competence of the Sonologist too matters .. Please instead of being scared, talk to your doctor about the options you have especially if this is your first...

If the tear is guided or planned, it’s neater and easier to repair.

Team june! Edd 26th. Did scan and doctor complained how big my baby is. Biko my dear sisters I'm scared. I need help because I don't want massive tear.

I will say about 10 diaper piece if you got the large bag or a pack of small mini(don’t know the type you bought).

The small mini pack usually contain about 10 or more (can’t realy remember, e don tey).


The 6 overall or 2 pack of 3 in one , 3-4 baby vests, 3 medium/big flannels(spacious enough to wrap baby not the small ones for cover oo) , same as caps and mitten.. not all babies tolerate caps.. my babies don’t wear so I don’t bother..
Don’t forget to take enough sanitary towel for you and nightingale oo so you don’t buy at extra cost in the hospital.

And pack clothes for your self for 3 -4 days..

Make other sabi mamas put mouth..

And that you can always use the bowl over and over again?

What is a Sitz bath?
A sitz bath is a bath in which only the buttocks and hips are immersed in water.
It is recommended to do sitz bath when you need the surface of your buttocks or vagina to touch the water (which usually contains disinfectants or drugs)
Sitz baths are great for treating hemorrhoids, vaginal infections and for fast healing of tears that occur during birth.
These sitz bath bowls fit right over your toilet bowl and offers a convenient way to soak and soothe the area.
How do I make a Sitzbath?
1. For treatment of yeast, make the water a lot warm, add half a capful of Savlon and half a capful of apple cider vinegar and sit on the howl for 10-15 minutes. Pat the vaginal area dry and wear cotton panties. Do this first thing in the morning and nightly and say bye to constant vaginal infections.
2. For treatment of hemorrhoids, make the water a bit warm, add 2 table spoons of Epsom salt and 2 table spoons of glycerin and sit especially after using a poop.
Some recommend using cold water as against warm water.
3. For treatment of episiotomy. The water should be warm and NOT hot. Add a capful of Savlon, a tablespoon of sea salt and sit for 10-15 minutes about 4 times in a day.

You can lick raw pap ,it helps me a lot.

You can also make the pap and take it plain with bread, don't add any milk or sugar.

Please go to Joevic specialist hospital Awka. That is the hospital I use. The MD is a consultant at Amaku General Hospital, very professional and humane
