Happy sunday guys,pls i'm having problem filling the questionaire form,N0 9 precisely....it entails providing your academic history from high school to date while they just provided limited space...i am thinking of filling it on a plain sheet of paper(handwritten) and attaching it or using the old questionaire,i still have one left from my former app....or do i jampack them like that?pls help!

Don't b selfish na...infact listing your siblings wud go a long way to help your application. It serve as home ties...

Filling many siblings may be counter productive in the sense that if u decide to stay in Canny,ur parents wont worry since they have other children around.Also been ano only child may mean that ur parents cant afford to lose their only kid in a far away oyinbo land for a long period of time.secondly V0s might think that once u enter,u will bring them to Canada.My thought though.

onuawuchi: Please I want to know if a police certificate must accompany your application. I'm a lil far from Lagos right now and my job is really not making it easy. So is it possible that they ask for the police certificate later.

Since u are submitting ur app personally to Vac,u can get it on the day of submission by rushing to CID headquarters in the morning...i heard it just takes a few hours to get.also go with a passport photo and a photocopy of ur int'l passport data page.

Good morning guys,is it advisible to package your sponsorship letter in a small sealed white envelop,crested with the company's name?am think it may potray some kind of credibilty...advise pls.

Call them and verify if they are still offering courier service,if not u take it to them.Courier charge depends on your location.

jimmyjerry07: Bro, it's already stated in the portal that your file size should not exceed 4MB only PDF, JPG and DOC(x) file r acceptable. 4 dose dat will like to use the online method, let's try to be creative and patient in determining the file size of d doc we wana summit e.g U have only one section to upload ur financial capability, this is where u combine ur sponsors statement of account, pay slip, letter of employment, tax clearance, receipt of payment of tuition (if u v made), landed property etc all dragged n saved into a single file den upload, ensure u reduce d sizes before pastin it to Word or PDF. U will b required to do the same 4 your family info I.e all ur siblings birth cert n marriage cert on a single file. It's as simple as A,B,C. I hope someone learn frm ds cheap piece. Best of Luck 2 us all. This is our year!!!

@ all,do u think siblings birth cert is necessary?i dont think so unless the person is accompying you to Canada....

ZionSpecie: All d dox I submitted were photocopies except SOA. When I was called for medicals, they requested for som original dox. Meanwhile all those photocopied dox were not court certified. Just photocopied and submitted. I wldn't knw if it is advisable though

which specific dox did they request for the originals?were they financial or academic dox?

?Does cdhc accept photocopied dox that is certified by the court?they are just land Certificate of occupancy and business registration dox...because they stated in their checklist that all dox submitted in support of your app must be originals.I would have submitted the originals but my sponsor will be needing it in a month' time.am just in a dilemma now.what do i do?

ticklin: When I was at VAC on the 3rd of April, I was told that application by mail is no longer acceptable. That it's necessary to submit everything at VAC by hand. This is because they are preparing to implement the biometric application process, so they've stopped all such mail services. You should call them though to verify.

And while going through the threads here,I've come across VAC as another option for sending my app. How does it really work, I mean the VAC?

Thats one no be problem...Just enter any GTB bank nearest to u and request for VAC(canada)Payment...they will tell u the amount,it should be around 14k or so(processing and courier fee).go with ur intl passport.After payment,send the receipt number,your name,phone no and address to VAC's email.Then their UPS partners will come and pick it from your address within 2 working days.I went through dis way in my first app.But call VAC so that they brief u more.

Has anybody encountered this problem in the filling of study permit questionaire?i couldnt type in it...can it be handwritten?i also observed that it was modified recently around March dis year.

i mean the temporary resident visa form...i have already filled the normal study permit application form,family info form,etc...i asked this because the study permit form has the same questions with this tempory resident visa form.

@gboyegaD I have decided to apply for my canadian student permit. And if a decision comes from UMass after I have submitted my application to Canada, then I would withdraw my passport from the CDHC. And apply for a USA study permit.

Transcripts
Acceptance letter
Waec results
TOEFL passwords
Bank statements.
Letter from sponsor (my dads company)
Tax history
Certificate of company incorporation..
Marriage certificate of my parents.

Is there anything I am missing? And do I need to pay my school fees before applying?

You can do ur bankdraft any were...but it must be made payable to Lagos.

Yes they return all genuine docx not directly addressed to them. U can do affidavit in state high courts.

Odinwa: I have already sent my document through Nipost today and it cost me just 350naira.
The problem I have now is how to send my application fee to the school, I went to first bank and I was told that before they will transfer money to any school abroad that the school will send me a letter requesting for the payment and also the account number of the school. I don't know if anyone here can help me with that. Pls I need answers. Thanks

You should request the bank info from your school...this includes bank name,acct no,acct name,swift no,clearing code etc...also print out the admission requirements for foreign students especially the page that requires the particular amount u pay for application fee.i think that is what the bank requires from you...*lso when going for the payment,go with photocopies of your waec,degree,birth certificate and other vital credentials.
