NewNigeriaMind: President Jonathan says if re-elected, he will tackle corruption in Nigeria using modern technology. The President said this while speaking at his campaign rally in Ibadan today. He said that even if he jails 5 million people for corruption, the problem will still persist but that with modern technology, corruption would be prevented. He said his govt is currently working on introducing the technology
this mumu president that cannot do anything about corruption in 6 years has a magic wand he will use called technology in the next 4 years.
The mumu then wnet on to say:
So for you to solve corruption problems, you must use modern technologies to prevent people from stealing and that is what we are working on.
Really after 6 years you are still working on it .....see mumu o!!!
The oil industry is a good area; we are working very hard. I just don’t want to say certain things, because some of these people have been given so much money, they would do everything to stop us. But I promise you that if you vote me and I come back to serve this country for the next four years, the day I would leave here, the next person that would come as the president of this country, people would not talk about corruption, because we are working on technologies and we would use technologies to block all these areas. Today we are talking about IT; we are no longer in the analog generation, so we must deploy IT to solve our human problems and I am promising that in the next four years, the next president, nobody would harass that president for not fighting corruption because I will solve the problem of corruption in this country"

This is cluelessness at the epic.
How can you do what you couldn't do before now.

Politics › Re: Open Letter To GMB by LuckyLadolce(m): 4:55pm On Jan 12, 2015 |
ucforu: Dear Sir,
Forgive me for being too direct, we all know that you are one of the least corrupt politician in the country (kudos), but all your political calculations are always wrong.
The greatest mistake you've ever made is not being part of the ruling party, PDP;
Olusẹgun Ọbasanjọ, defeated you by a margin of more than eleven million votes in 2003, in 2007 Umaru Yar'Adua, who hailed from the same home state of Katsina, defeated you too. In the election, you officially took 18% of the vote against 70% for Yar'Adua, but you rejected these results. After Yar'Adua took office, the ANPP agreed to join his government, but you denounced this agreement.
If you really have the interest of the country at heart (as you claim to have), you could have at least contribute to the Yar'Adua's Government who gave you to opportunity to help our dear nation move forward. (though we all know that you might not want to associate yourself with "supposed Corrupt" government, but you could have at least find a way to help and move the country forward).
Again, in the 16 April 2011 general election, running against incumbent President Goodluck Jonathan of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu of Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), and Ibrahim Shekarau of ANPP. They were the major contenders among 20 contestants. you were running on an anti-corruption platform and pledged to remove immunity protections from government officials. You also gave support to enforcement of Sharia law in Nigeria's northern states, which had previously caused you political difficulties among Christian voters in the country's south. However, you remains a "folk hero" to some, for your vocal opposition to corruption. You won 12,214,853 votes, coming second to the incumbent president Goodluck Jonathan of the PDP, who polled 22,495,187 votes and was declared the winner.
They Say "The devil you know, is better than the Angel you don't know" , we all know that GEJ is not the best president so far, but in a situation where we are left to choose between two evils, we are left with no other choice than to choose the "lesser evil", GEJ.
"Sir" GMB, if you really love our beloved country, Nigeria, please support the current Government (we don't need your change), you mustn't become the president before you can bring about change in the country. (after-all, you have tried during your own rule as a military head of State).
You've tried before, we all know that you are a good leader, (though you didn't find any woman worthy of any appointment during your tenure as the Military head of state) but it is quite unfortunate that your time is up, you have nothing new to offer us, you can only act as a father (elder Statesman), guide and offer advice to whoever is in the government, so the nation can move forward.
My advice to you is to be a gentleman, quit all this political drama called campaign, save yourself from the shame of failing for the fourth time, step down and support GEJ and allow our nation to move forward.
Yours Faithfully Good Citizen of Nigeria

remsonik: Could APC be the Nigerian version of the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood Party? Check out this: 1. Party Leader – North: Gen Muhammadu Buhari (Muslim). 2. Party Leader – South: Bola Ahmed Tinubu (Muslim). 3. National Chairman: Abdulkareem Bisi Akande (Muslim). 4. Deputy National Chairman: Aminu Bello Masari (Muslim). 5. National Secretary: Tijjani Musa Tumsah (Muslim). 6. Deputy National Secretary: Nasir El-Rufai (Muslim). 7. National Publicity Secretary: Lai Muhammad (Muslim). 8. National Treasurer: Sadiya Umar Faruq (Muslim) 9. National Financial Secretary: Alhaji Shaibu Musa (Muslim). 10. National Youth Leader: Abubakar Lado (Muslim). 11. National Legal Adviser: Muiz Banire (Muslim). 12. National Deputy Auditor: Bala Jibrin (Muslim). 13. National Women Leader: Sharon Ikeazor (Muslim convert). 14. EX- officio Member: Muniru Muse (Muslim). 15. EX-officio Member: Alhaji Yemi Sanusi (Muslim). Yet, these people want us to believe they are PROGRESSIVES and that APC is a national party. I think APC has a hidden religious agenda..Be guided people! Share to all you know to vote wisely. I will not want my children to live in a Nigeria where they cannot worship their GOD! Yes! its a muslim brotherhood! oyah go n jump to OSA or quickly walk down ur street and kiss transformer! BTW, O gal come oo! which time u read news last? because this trash up there fear me oooo! |
