StCapital:
Luckyroro @ Thank you very much for this piece of advise but you forgot to advise the real culprits which are the Censor board and the ministry of information and culture. If this regulatory agencies in Nigeria are doing what they suppose to do you can never see those porn videos released to the public, we should blame sensor board and others , what is censor board doing about it, are they not the one releasing these nudity videos for public consumption, if there is a law preventing them from being strict about what they release to the market, why not do the needful through ministry of Information to the National Assembly. If I may ask, are the people working in censor board singles, don't they have children that watch all these videos , the censor board needs to be investigated to find out if they don't watch these nudity videos before releasing them, it is obvious they collect bribe before releasing those porn videos everyday to the market, there is problem in Nigeria system from Federal to State and to the Local Government and the problem is BRIBERY and CORRUPTION. The problem cannot be solved because everybody are involved in the bribery and corruption , who is going to investigate who, even the people responsible for investigation are corrupt too they take bribe, what people are after is how much money they made during their active service to the nation and not what they contributed to the Nation. A musician that spent alot of money shooting porn video as Music and censor board did not approved it and it was not released to the Market , will the person shoot the same type of video again?. The answer is NO.
Thanks for pointing that out. However I felt the first point of production should be addressed first before other stakeholders are brought in. There won't be a need for censor board if the artistes do the needful. Thanks once again.

OPEN LETTER TO CONTEMPORARY NIGERIAN MUSICIANS
Dear Nigerian artistes, I have observed with deep sadness the recent trend of celebrating nudity in music videos just to remain on the lips of fans and be the rave of the moment. While this is good and achieves the desired result for you all at least, I must say it is gradually destroying the morality of our society – The one we all built together as I am certain none of you involved in this was born in the early 2000’s.
I know that you all want to remain relevant hence the need to carve a niche for yourselves and explore it to the fullest but I must condemn your approach to this. For what it’s worth, there are notable celebrities in the World today who have remained relevant even without a cameo by semi nude girls. I won’t draw analogies today but you all will agree with me that it is the fact. The TV holds the most powerful influence today after the social media hence people are motivated to act according to what they see on screen. What you all show us is an aberration of what our society strongly holds forth to. We believe in respect for the female body and not the abuse. Young girls on the streets want to imitate the ones they see on Tv, The ones who are clad with skimpy wears that provoke negative thoughts in men. Today, sex is the topic everywhere because music videos with sexual simulations flood our TV screens with little or no censorship. The easiest victims to these wrong messages being passed are the young girls and that is the reason I’ve chosen to emphasize on their case and with the simplest of words to foster comprehension. You all don’t know the impact of your music on the minds of young girls –They see men caressing women on TV and feel it’s cool to let the regular boy around their house to have a field day with their bosoms with no restraint. This is wrong in all sense of judgment because the damage you are inflicting on our collective morality is irreparable. We are delving towards a time when having a strong moral standing will be considered wrong while vices will become the celebrated norm.
I am not writing this piece of my mind for artistes like Naira Marley as I am certain he won’t get to read it even as he is the Chief culprit in this act. I am writing this for artistes who rose to stardom from the streets and understand the unspoken and unwritten code of conduct in the African society. I saw Pawon Video by Olamide tonight and I was totally disappointed by the visual rendition of a classic street jam (at least by their standards). This is totally uncalled for from someone as popular as Baddo. What exactly can Olamide possibly ask for from fans again that he hasn’t got? The case of Naira Marley’s controversial Soapy track and it’s dance style is a reflection of what our society has turned into. Masturbation is being preached and the youths are dancing happily to it in public with little or no concern about the impressions that follow such offensive dance steps. I was at a Colleague’s thanksgiving party when the DJ played the song and everyone rolled out their hands and lifted a leg in the air while motion-scrubbing their loin region back and forth. This is wrong! I don’t know how we got here but this is certainly not the way. You release hit tracks and promote them with semi nude girls exposing their bums much to the pleasure of perverts on Instagram and Twitter. I wish to leave you with a word before I conclude this piece. This madness going round will only earn you the ratings you so much crave for presently but it won’t guarantee your stay in the industry in the next few years. To earn a Legend status goes beyond trending for the wrong reasons severally, You need to leave an indelible mark in the minds of your fans. Until you do this, you will remain ‘an artiste that reigned in his time.’ Much respect to the artistes who are still passing the right messages with corresponding visuals. Tubaba, Rudeboy, MI, Davido, Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, Kizz Daniel and the list goes on. We really appreciate your efforts. Keep repping!

Algeria is the winner of this tournament. The team is so organized just like modern European teams. This team will beat Super Eagles very well. No sentiments.
When I said this I was heavily criticized for saying the truth. What I do know is that Nigeria plays a limited pattern of football. We don't have that dynamic approach to games that's why our opponents read our game easily and clip our wings easily. Another factor is the result in Uyo, our boys underrated this team cos of that result not knowing that this team is synonymous to Manchester City with their eye for goals. Please accept the truth in good fate and move on.

Even before Algeria scored, CIV missed an open goal and hit the bar.

They had enough chances to take the game. Algeria were not better.

This is football. Anything can happen but I do not go into games with a pessimistic mindset. It is not as if we are playing Brazil.
True. I wish I could share in your optimism. I've been all out for the Eagles but I guess this is the end of the road for them. I will be glad if they prove me wrong though.

Mahrez missed a goal in the opening half. A penalty was also missed in the second half. Those were chances that could have extended the lead. We will continue this conversation on Sunday night Sir.

You have a point about their style of play but a learning point from this AFCON is that the performance of any team depends on the opposition.
There are teams that will always carry the day regardless. This one is for Algeria. They and Egypt were favourites from the word go.
