PointB:

@Topic,
In summary,

In administration he achieved a - retreat.
In educating he achieved an attempt.
In agriculture he achieved a strategy.
In OYES, 2000 contracted grass cutters at 10000 a month.
In Tourism he achieved promises.
Overall he would lay foundation (perhaps for the next administration)

Aregberascal, carry go nothing do you. You are the best governor in Nigeria.

Aregberascal for president 2015!

Exactly the way I see it if this article is anything to go by. Guys I'm from Osun state I cant tell you nothing has changed except propaganda and persecution of perceived enemies.
Business / Re: $35 Billion Foreign Reserve Was Mismanaged - Obasanjo by lucom: 12:32pm On Nov 22, 2011
The General said " Europe is fumbling and wobbling, thank God for that " and some people here are talking gibberish about his comment. People needs to be schooled in the role Europe has played in global economy and the direct and indirect effects of their economic policies engineered through various economic machineries like IMF and even the World bank on Africa as a whole. At best its a case of take all leave nothing.

The issue of these motor parks causing serious fracas can be traceable to some of these but not limited to

1.) The union is highly organized and has a perfect line of reporting and hierarchy which makes the state chairman the ultimate boss, the implication of these is that all the money accrued from all garages in the state per day comes to him. For instance for every bus that loads in a garage the driver pays what is called " owo ise" which in most cases varies between 5% - 10% of entire sum of the fare, hypothetically lets say #200 per bus.Now assuming 25 buses loaded in a garage that gives #5000 multiplied by say 30 garages in the state(which is more in most cases) and that gives us #150,000. Now imagine #150,000 income per day for an individual (and his executive members). A modest job in Nigeria doesn't even pay up to 150k a month and the state chairman of NURTW earns up to 4.5m a month. Quitting and losing that type of income string can be very difficult.
2.)Also the union enjoys continuous patronage from the state government running into millions of naira per month which tends to encourage the "siddon tight" approach most of their state chairmen have because once you are a chairman you have unfettered access to the government house
3.)As a result of reason 1 above there's continuous feeling of animosity towards the executive along the hierarchy of the union because the money is really much.
Fashion / Re: Boys Don't Care About Your Expensive Hair by lucom: 9:32am On Nov 09, 2011
Beauty is a binary thing, its either a 1 or a 0. if you are not pretty there's just nothing you can do about it if you like buy Afghanistan hair and fix it wont add a bit to your looks in fact some of these Iraqi hair looks creepy at times that I would rather avoid someone wearing it. IMO good looks is a gift so start flaunting that God given gift.

naijasexy:

I really find it hard dating someone who is not black. I guess once you go black, you never go back. tongue

The same thing applies to the white chicks too. Once they have dated a black guy, they never wanna go back to dating a white guy. Only God knows why. grin grin grin

There's a reason for that, King Sunny Ade calls it "SWEET BANANA" and you know matured and ripe Ogede Agbagba is in ubiquitous supply in tropical Africa if you know what I mean.
Family / Re: Husband Paid His Wife House Rent For Good 10 Years: Unknownly by lucom: 10:51am On Oct 19, 2011
People might say all kinds of things about the husband not finding out in time and all that but let me tell you in a place like Lagos you may never have a reason to meet your landlord/landlady for as long as you live his/her house if the estate manager is doing his job well.My advice:let Stanley file divorce papers, Tina is not worth living with for any reason because she sees the business side of everything and for the right price can get Stanley killed  as long as money is involved. This is a trust issue and it's a matter of life and death.

the guy don wire the ugandan chic since una dey here dey waste time.He is just boasting of a conquest

My thought exactly and maybe my guy is just seeking some moral opinion on whether to do a rematch or something, but my advise seriously is to place a lid on this because you never can tell if she's 6ft deep, many men don't live to tell the story.Better be careful than sorry.

"Cannibalism can explain the problems of igbos.

The widespread practice of cannibalism in vast areas of Imo, Abia and Enugu (and to some extent Ebonyi) is an open secret in modern Nigerian history. As recent as in the contemporary period, cannibalistic activities were reported in those areas particularly in Abia and Imo states.
Historically, in every human settlement where cannibalism was practiced, the darker a human is, the more nutritious he/she was assumed to be. It is this belief that put darker members of the community or neighboring  community to greater danger of being killed and eaten than fairer ones. In fact, the fair ones are considered as taboo to eat as they are considered to be cursed by the gods.

As a result of depletion of the darker people in such communities, the offspring became increasingly lighter and higher proportion of albinism as well birth defects are  recorded. Such defects include severe mental problems, stealing of other people's land,anti-social behaviour like kidnapping, r.a.pe, pipeline vandalism and oil bunkering, sight defects, drug trafficking and se.xu.al impotency"

You really cracked me up with the last part of your post
Family / Re: Pls, Is It Advisable For A Man To Drive His Father In-law To A Social Function? by lucom: 11:18am On Oct 04, 2011
Guy you have some ego problems here, the last time I checked my father-in law is actually my father and I wont hesitate to drive my father. Maybe you should empathise with them and imagine yourself grow old one day and find yourself in a similar situation, haba guy give this a thought and try to apologise to those folks.
Family / Re: Is It Advisable For Boys To Be In Boarding Secondary Schools, please Advice by lucom: 10:52am On Oct 04, 2011
Kleenmum send your boys to a good one that you can afford because "there's no gold without it passing through fire" trust me I'm a living proof, most of my survival instincts and street wisdom that I still make use of till date are honed within the walls of my great school. That is not to say I didn't learn a lot of bad things though but my parents were very vigilant and it helped a lot to put me back on track. So my advice is send them to a boarding school (it will surely help them becoming men) but be very vigilant so you don't get the other result.

Guys, I know we too (men) can identify potential in any individual male or female. I want to emphasize and discuss if a woman will look at a dirt poor but smart and hardworking guy and say: you know what I am going to give this guy a chance in my life and I know he will be great someday. If you have real-life stories, kindly share!
Well here is my real life story, I met and wooed my wife when I was a second year engineering student in the university, I do wear maybe a jeans and two shirts for a whole semester back then. She told me she loved me back then and she'll go through the most unimaginable things with me (there are countless times I trek to school not for the excercise but for economic reasons). In fact I can't start reeling out what we went through together,to cut the long story short 8 years down the line we got married and she presently work in a bank while I work with a GSM telecom company. To God be the glory we are doing modestly well today because we can afford anything we need and up till now I dont understand what she saw then that made her stay though I had many women along the line but she stood by me and I can only thank God because she's the most precious gift I've ever had in my entire life. Maybe women do have foresight, in my opinion.

The more they are hating the religion, the more is getting bigger.

With due respect to your person this is a very delusional statement, grandiosely concepted and poorly presented. It though represent the mind of an average muslim who consistently have an inflated opinion of the religion and tends to view anyone who doesnt share his hypomanic view as infidels whose only means of conversion to "ISLAM" is violence. My friend wake up to reality.JESUS IS LORD.
