I fear for some of the Interns matched at Enugu Fair. Some of the companies involved in the process over there were not approved and as such the Company will NEVER be up for intern matching online. The interns believe they are successful after the manual matching at the fair, For a matching process to be successfully done, the company has be be approved. If approved, the company becomes 'Active' online and can be seen on the matching screen. A particular company at the Enugu fair absorbed 6 interns and they all thought they have been properly matched, after one of the intern contacted me, I discovered that the company was not even approved. To all concerned: Ask questions, make sure the Company who you were matched with is approved, so you don't waste your time.

Every position requires a specialist in it. Same goes to the head of health institutions and Nigeria should not be an exemption. The position of Hospital administrator as its supposed to be called should not be for medical doctors alone, except if the doctor has a postgraduate degree in Hospital mgt or Health admin & mgt. Pls let all these Dr. who are CMDs leave the position 4 trained Healthcare mgers. I rest my case...

The duration is not based on dept rather program. PGD is 12months, MSc 18months & PhD is 3yrs minimum.

@ Odunnu, u ar beginning to make me uncomfortable wt ur responds. Well Gbss, my course is not under community medicine rather Health Science & Tech. In terms of the rumor its partially truth. Drs. are d main pple there bcs it enhances there wrk in field work bt that does nt mean they wont accept anoda profession bt its competitive. They will offer u MPH(masters in Pub Health). @ Highness, currently its 76k and 71k for full time and part time respectively, but last yr the admission form was sold @ 12k and now 20k. So its likely they will review it upwards. Good luck...

A friend of mine, developed a condition where white patches appears on the body including the face. After visiting a demertologist, he was told its VITILIGO. He was subjected into some medication but the resultant effects were not noticed rather it keeps appearing. I personally researched on it even though I'm not a medical personnel. There I saw that its a condition always resulting from autoimmune where the brown pigments in the body are been lost.
This has affected the guy both psychologically because he feels that people isolates him or thought he can't take care of himself thats why he is having eczema.
Please friends, if you know how to correct this condition both with normal drugs or traditionally, your suggestion will put smile on somebody's face. Thanks for your positive contribution.
