Well first, i'd advise you stop using your starcomms connection for xbox live, its not good enough. Direct on PC has been tried and tested on 384kbps and its smoking at that speed (goes for 75k, thats equipment, installation and 3months subscription). Although, you can also hook up to 128kbps and you'll still have no issues. There are also varying levels of xbox live membership which you would have to purchase either from a video game shop (we havent got shiiii in Nigeria) or online using a credit card. There are a couple of people that help with online payments so thats easily sorted. Go to the official xbox site to check out the cost of varied xbox live subscriptions (www.microsoft.com). Follow the necessary instructions regarding connecting your xbox to the internet and you can scream back at the japs |

Dude, first off, you didnt mention what release of Res Evil you've got . Second is, what console are we talking about. If my memory serves me correctly, Res Evil is now up to part 4 (and i'm hoping to get part 5) and the story shoots forward and back across the different releases. Some are sequels, others are prequels but all of 'em have connecting stories.Like every story, there's the bad guys (in this case, Umbrella corporation) and the good guys (S.T.A.R.S.) . In their quest to create the supreme weapon in their top notch facility in Racoon city, the baddies experimented with humans (using some scientific gene therapy mumbo jumbo) eventually turning them to zombies. There was an accident in their facility (what else is new) and the gene thing spreads around the city so anybody who's bitten or scratched by someone already infected turns into a zombie (thats if they don't eat you up first). Because of this accident, the entire city is marked for erasure (lay mans terms, they're going to drop a nuke to wipe out anything alive just to correct their mistakes). *Now my favourite bit, there are special operatives under the acronym STARS (my memory's a little fuzzy here) who happen to be stranded in Racoon city, you get to use one of them and as the story progresses, switch to others or see the story from a different perspective. These dudes are cops so you've got access to guns which if i might add are f*cking hard to find or put together. There're instances of you finding the guns but no bullets so you have to make some which require different ingredients. My favourite is the magnum (blows their brains apart ).Dude, this is getting too long to narrate. Go to your local video rental and ask for Resident Evil and Resident Evil Apocalypse. That will bring you up to speed. Its a lovely game, hope you're not scared of things that go bump in the night (playing using surround will mess up your psyche). I recommend it anyday , by the way, if its Res Evil Nemesis you've got, look out for the dude who says STARS before running you over. He's scary |

The weird thing about those rules is that any girl worth her salt implements them (not all but most of them). You guys are acting all macho now o , when the fact of the matter is that non of us read the small print when getting into the relationship and now have to follow "THE RULES" |

Lush sees the end of days, like i keep saying whether you guys bicker about it or not, PC outlet will sell all their units, alaba boys will order for more when they sell out and according to the law of demand and supply, prices will drop. Typical of Nigerians to put a bullet in an idea before it bears fruit. Why not give "The Intern" a couple of weeks before tearing it to pieces. Sure, we all know its a rendition of Donald Trump's (US) & Alan Sugar's (UK) "The Apprentice". Like you rightly mentioned, the Apprentice wasnt fun from the beginning, lets hope they correct those mistakes as the intern continues. Truth is, despite some bickering by you guys, people are loving the show and looking forward to seeing what it has to offer. I'd prefer to keep an open mind until the very end, you never know, it could be fun to watch!  |

You have a point there echowords but i honed my skills based on speed & difficult counters, i always see his moves coming  Dude (strong_arm), Tekken isnt about the combos, you sound like one of 'em guys that focus on 10hit strings. Even those can be countered. By the way, i use Ivy on Soul Calibur and Kazuya on Tekken |

Echowords, i have a soft spot for Soul Calibur but till this day, i'm yet to find a challenger who can beat me using Nightmare c0dec, you have a point there with the sf series, but Vega? Your trump card? Dude, i'll open up a can of whoop a*se ! Owoayo, Mortal Kombat used to be the bomb, until they went 3d and ruined everything with insane moves. Although they've stayed true to their culture. Personally, i wouldn't get the game if i had spare change , and gbade.x, dude, thats quite a collection you've got there except for MK and Killer instinct. Sure, they're classics but KI went overboard with insane combos but that was the appeal in it. |

Hi Viante, i think it would do wonders for his self confidence when asking for help next time, if would-be replies to his question didnt rub his face in the fact that he doesnt know! Thanks for the pointer OGD. I'm not going to be explicit but i'm going to miss the times we'd just sit and stare into each others eyes, probing, searching each others thoughts without talking (might sound cheesy but, ). The times when we'd play-fight and act out a scene in WWE, when we'd go out to eat and order different items on the menu only to end up eating the other's food because, just because! Those were the times and i wonder who and how exactly i'm going to find someone to fill those perfect size 9 shoes |
