I agree with Chiefoh that this forum is for sharing experiences but you should also realise that your experience is pretty hard to swallow. You dont need to proove anything to us but at the same time, you dont need o be cursing either. I personally cant do 300kmph on 3rd mainland but when i hear someone else do it, i'd love to see it with me own eyes mate! Although, my not being able to do it doesnt mean somebody like yourself cant so i'm still waiting to see the video footage sha.  |

@ChieFoh, chairman, i'm still not covinced. Yab me all you want but people on this board would appreciate your proving them wrong. Since you're a dare devil, i'm sure you wont mind giving us video coverage (most phones shoot video now, so no excuse). We need shots of you standing by the "car" in question, you accelerating from 0 to 300kmph, a sideways shot of you overtaking other cars and finally, a shot of the radiator overheating at 80kmph Since it seems you know a lot about cars, you should know that it is damn easy to tinker with your speedometer. It just means they included your email address in the "bc" or "cc" field but they put the stranger's email address in the "to" field. Nothing to worry about, its not an error, the good thing is you've been notified, so get down on your knees and thank the almighty |

Yeah sure, a couple of nairalanders posted comments last week about receiving emails from an equity thingy, an agency they didnt apply to! Do a search for anything with equity in it and i'm sure you'll find replies to the post. In short, its a scam and its not worth pursuing! |

All this talk of beating each other senseless is interesting. Like darkmanzero saiz, its only when we're comfortable with ChieFoh that we could possibly gang up on whooping your a*se Anyways, i agree with dardkmanzero regarding SC. Its not a game fo sissies. Button mashers might win the odd round or two but thats where their fun ends. Put an experienced Mitsurugi and Ivy together and you'll see beautiful footwork.The depth of SC is deep but different from Tekken. People who've played both games will understand what the Lush is talking about. Darkmanzero will agree with me that for every move in SC, there's a counter (not the type of counter we're used to). I particularly dont have a preference because i see Tekken & SC as 2 different games but with high replay factor cos i'm always looking to hone my skills. That dont mean i'm not good but i guess you'll have to challenge me to know. |

I've been in retirement for a while but retirement sucks and its time to unbox my trusty pad once more. @Lord1, kindly scroll upwards for information on what the test is like. I think the logical reasoning test you took was a personality test but its strange that they havent called you back. Although, one thing is BATN can be slow when it comes to recruitment (Dont ask me how i know, i know afam1 will want to tackle this as well). I can't really remember questions in the test verbatim but i know it was a breeze. @Pauchys, there is a common mix-up when transcripts are requested. We all know transcripts are transferred between schools and not given to an individual but people refer to statement of results as transcripts because they're somewhat similar except for the fact that transcripts are more detailed. In short, your statement of results are adequate so don't fret. Take them along and goodluck people! @extee, did you check your bulk mail folder? If your email suspects that an email has multiple recepients, it'll treat it as spam and wont put it in the inbox like regular mail. If you still can't find anything, give them a call so they can either resend it or explain the contents of the email to you. Call them on 7911639 or 4960569. Cheers. |

I agree with adejoh, you seem to think because someone graduated with a 1st class, he's in a world of his own and therefore better than those with 3rd class! Street fighter still has its "pick-up-and-play" factor going for it but MK, although has evolved over the years, the game mechanics doesnt look too real anymore. You just need to compare the animation when Yoshimitsu's running in Tekken to when they run in MK. They're worlds apart, but i've got to give it to MK for having all that gore and characters. Anyhoo, has anybody any idea as to an excellent fighting based game on the psp that supports infrastructure mode? I'm not a fan of the ad-hoc mode, you always have to look around for someone with a psp who's got the same game and who you wont beat silly in the first 5 clicks |

I didnt get my job through their recruitment job fair (funny thing is, they still sent me an invite for the fair) but you guys are having it lucky because you know that once you get invited for the fair, you're open to many employers under one roof and you're not limited to being interviewed by just one company on that day. I had to play the whole waiting game for them to find a client who was looking for my background skills but it only spanned 2 months so i guess that isnt bad. The reason for the test and interview is to make sure you're not "dumb". What i mean is that you can take an easy test (the test is a walk in the park) without failing. Like i mentioned before, the test is not difficult, go there with a calculator to be on the safe side. I scored 75% so i guess you should be aiming for a safe line similar to that score or something. The interview is for them to get an idea of the kind of job you're looking for, your salary expectations and to verify your credentials. Dress smart, you don't need to put on a suit (kind of unconfortable for a test, don't you think?). Unfortunately, i can't remember the number of questions but let me say it again, they're damn easy questions unless you're a dullard (which i seriously doubt). The time allocated for the test is also adequate, i actually had enough time to revise my work when i finished. Think i've answered all your questions, drop me a line if you've got more. Dude, it reeks of 419. I for one do not reply to vacancies that require you to reply to a free email account (eg: gmail, yahoo, hotmail, msn, etc). Another thing is their use of English, its pathetic and i would not even encourage you to work for an organisation that would allow such an error to be published or broadcast. And the most shocking thing about this is the fact that they are asking you to pay 3,500 into an account that is not registered in the company's name. They also did not ask you to bring along proof of payment, pray tell, how will they know you have paid? The Head of Human Resources can not also be the Head of Finance, these are 2 job functions and the accountants & HR people in the house will testify to that. Thats my 2 cents , |

Big deal, i graduated with a 2nd class lower, narrowly missing 2.1 but it doesnt mean your world will end there. I've gone through 3 jobs already and i know i'll be moving up to another soon not because i cant sit a company for too long but i'm one to improve on my experience. Your success depends on believing you can achieve anything as long as you put your mind to it. If companies require you to have 2.1 before applying to them, its their loss not yours. I think its just an excuse to cut down on looking through countless applications because everybody knows what the Nigerian educational system is like. I know of students better than i am who graduated with 3rd class and are making serious kish. So, chin up and believe in yourself son. The sky is the limit , 2 Likes |
