What can i say, they finally hooked me up with a multi-national and i'm giving thanks to the almighty. ![]() |
Wow, its been a while since i logged on to this forum only to find Hardware had been dissing me. Its all good, if dissing is your thing but i would advise you guard against misinterpreting what people say. To all you guys who got text messages inviting you for the next stage, i wish you all the best. I didnt go through the fair route but lets just say People prime lived up to their name and got me an appointment with a multinational. The test isnt difficult and requires little or no preparation so no worries. Its not as bad a*s as tests organised by banks though. One thing you all need to know is that their clients are world class and if and when you're called for interviews, you need to be seen as being ready to rub shoulders with the high and mighty. So chin up, look smart and be confident while selling you skills. Good luck and God bless ![]() |
If its a technical position, you get technical questions thrown at you with an essay type question asking you something along the lines of the effects of the epayment system in Nigeria and how chamms has contributed to it. If you pass that test, you get called for an interview with a technical & HR employee but you'll also take another test on the day of the interview. And if you pass that stage, you get invited for yet another interview with some dude higher up. All in all, prepare yourself for nothing less than 3 interviews and dont expect them to keep to time either. You should also be prepared for their white shirt on trousers dress code . Goodluck mate , |
I agree with Wolfgang, i was asked to come for a chat session with People Prime and was told to come the next day for a test. The first thing i asked was why i should pay N500 and they explained that its an administrative fee. I asked why charge applicants an administrative fee when you're been paid by the clients (companies) to recruit for them and the explanation they gave was they go all out to contact (continous phone calls, emails, texts, etc) applicants who are deemed to be suitable for positions. Thats what they charge you 500 quid for. I dont think N500 is too much though since most of us will probably spend that amount to get to test & interview sessions on the Island anyway but the long and short of it is they're genuine. They even kept pestering me while i was in the Uk, |
Dude, i took a drive to their so called office, i wasnt impressed First off, why would they be asking for money when they will obviously be making money from would be employers who would want to use the avenue to meet prospects? Take Peopleprime for instance, they're also organising a job fair but have you heard them ask for money? I've also been to the Peopleprime office and i must say, it looks professional. I'm not saying you shouldnt give this job fair a shot but meeeeeeeen, 2500 harsh and how many applicants are they going to fit into Sheraton? Meaning, they'll shenk some people without returning your kishi like the British embassy! |
@ Hardware, you shouldnt point fingers because i can see loads of errors in your post as well. You have to understand how a site is developed to know they're not the ones directly involved in its development and therefore have to notify their developers. Mistakes can be made by anyone, it takes a better person to admit and accept. What you should be trying to do is ask them for an alternative way for you to apply. Cheers man ![]() |
, in the end time, many will come in my stead , claiming to come from me (something like that anyway) Whats stopping you from praying and asking God if he's the one? Why let these prayer warriors do the praying and decision making for you? You've been seeing him for 3 years and you can't find something you don't like, and you're shedding tears when he's the perfect person for you. Damn girl, i don't know about you but i aint listening to no prayer warriors to come tell me how to handle my business The fact that they even accept money (which they claim is for church building) is enough to stop me from even writing out a list of possible suitors (thats even if i were to listen to the preposterous request in the first place ![]() |
@ texazzpete, i feel your pain. I was once like you until i was initiated in naruto, then bleach and now, i'm all over the place looking out for the top 10 animes on tokyo tv. If you're looking to get all the episodes of naruto from the very beginning up to episode 218, make a run for www.narutochaos.com but you'll need to register to download. But i use yhbt.mine.nu to get the current episodes every week because their torrent is lightning fast. ![]() |
I cannot remember the specifics but you're looking at 40 to 50 gmat questions but 80% focus on math. You've got a little over an hour to finish which I think is impossible to pull off but a couple of guys did (they used calculators, which by the way are not allowed). The math questions have decimals in them which add to the time it takes you to solve it. They're easy questions but take time to solve. Most of the math questions are objectives but the last 5 to 10 require you to write out your answers. The english questions require a PH.d in English for you to get correctly (my personal opinion) but this doesn't mean you won't know half of them if your English is fluent. They claim to have a cut off but I think they just pick the best out of your batch, I don't know what the figure is) Nuff said, I wish you all the best and feel free to let me know how it goes. Cheerio, |
Dude, you're right. It can be frustrating but i think its the moderators or is it the administrator that this point should be directed at. ![]() |
echowords:Chief Dr Echowords baba ![]() |
I think Garuda is just plain irritating Anytime his spikes connect, i curse. He's always all over the place, especially when he's on his combo run, you know you're in deep doo doo. Needless to say, he mops the floor with me most times ![]() |
Ladies and gentlemen, most of us have been on first dates and others are yet to experience the anxiety. For some of us, it was a doozy but for others, a nightmare which they couldnt get out of fast enough. For the ladies, what do you expect from a first date with a guy and for the men folk, what do you think you should do on a first date? Discuss , right from when you pick her up (or she picks you up) to when you bid your farewell at the door! |
Uhmmmmm Gamine, i think thats why its got "fantasy" in it. Too much make belief (so they dont grow old), not all that bad though. |
@ kufor, when did you apply and was it done online Goodluck |
@ babalegba1, thanks for the heads up. I also suggest that whoever gets called should drop a line, goodluck everybody. |
@ c0dec, watch and be merry ![]() http://media.wii.ign.com/media/748/748546/vids_1.html |
@ gabde. X, is this "Ayo opon" thing that yoruba game with 2 players moving around beads among 12 holes You're not serious o ![]() |
@ echowords, heard the game isnt all that and its a Devil may cry clone (and it failed horribly at that too) Move on mate, nothing to see here , |
@LoverBwoy, you have a point there but hey, this is Nigeria we're talking about, we never do things the easy way ![]() |
I dunno if this will help but i remember we subscribed to most of the Sky channels and "AIT" was part of the African bouquet. I think you should enquire from your cable provider if they broadcast any of the Nigerian stations. You only need to look out for STv(Silverbird television), AIT(Africa Independent Tv), MIB(Minaj broadcast international) & last but not least NTA I havent heard about these stations streaming their content so i think its safe to rule out trying to watch on the web. Goodluck. |
You guys should quit dissing the laudable efforts by companies to set up an e-payment system in Nigeria One would think developed countries like the US and the UK didnt go through the same learning curve (online fraud) when these services were being introduced. In fact, these scams still occur as we speak in these developed countries, is it because a lot of noise is being made by the US about Nigerian online scams? For chrissakes, its because "they've been there and done that" so they know what to look out for.Its going to take trial and errors to get it right in the Nigerian context but pending that time, there are other alternatives which are undoubtedly expensive. The reason being its just being introduced into the Nigerian market and these companies are trying to recoup their investment. This is the exact same scenario with the gsm & cdma networks, look at their prices now! They're literarilly giving their sims out for free! ![]() |
You just need to click on the forgotten password link on the page for entering your user name and password. If you configured a secret question then this should be a synch (if you can remember, that is). Good luck. |
Had the same problem trying to get settings from their text services so i got them a phone and keyed them into mine. These settings assume you've got your wap/gprs settings configured and working. Account name = MTN MMS Access Point Name (APN) = web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net Service Centre Address = http://10.199.212.2 IP Address = 10.199.212.2 Port = 9201 (for WAP) or 8080 (for HTML) Username = web Password = web Good luck mate ![]() |

bioye:Good one mate, I think he’s a hired hand though (James Bond wannabe) ![]() Shame on you guys, for saying this programme would suck , sure enough it’s a rendition of “The Apprentice” but they’ve done a good job of adapting it to the Nigerian environment. I for one am impressed and my hat goes off (if I had one anyway) to the producers . The sad thing though is having to see someone get FIRED |
c0dec, why not try ebay (if you've got an account), just narrow your search down to the version you want. Cheers mate ![]() |
Aint that the truth, hayprof is spot on ![]() |
Dude, i wouldnt recommend it but at Oshodi (under the bridge, ask for where video games are sold). If i were in your shoes, i'd get a new one or bust trying to repair. Having it repaired in naija will only create more nightmares for you, Goodluck mate ![]() |
