Nairaland / General / Alamieyeseigha To Be Buried March 26 by Lustig(m): 7:04pm On Jan 26, 2016
The burial ceremony of the late former Governor of Bayelsa State, Chief Diepreye Alamieyeseigha, will commence on March 24 and end on March 26, a family source said on Tuesday.
The Nation gathered that Alamieyeseigha would have been
buried on November 16 last year, the day he would have
marked his 63 birthday.
But it was reportedly put off because of preparations for
the state governorship election and lack of agreement
between the state government and the deceased’s family.
The silence over his burial had led to speculations especially outside the Niger Delta region that Alamieyeseigha’s death might have been faked to stop his extradition to Britain on corruption charges.
But Major Graham Naingba (rtd), the first cousin of the
deceased and Traditional Ruler of Amassoma,
Alamieyeseigha’s community in Southern Ijaw local
government area of the state, said the death was not faked. Graham, who spoke on Tuesday when our correspondent visited his palace in Amassoma, said it was an abomination in Ogboin community, comprising Amassoma, Amatolu and Otuan, for anybody to fake his death. Naingba noted that though the chiefs in the community were yet to see the remains of the late former governor, some members of the family were present when he died. He said: “Alamieyeseigha is truly dead. I have heard people who claimed that he faked his death. It is not true. In Ogboin community, we don’t fake our death.
“If anybody claims that he is dead and he eventually comes
back, the person cannot live for more than three months. It is our tradition. If you fake your death, you are gone
because you cannot live again.
“Even if the whole world says he is not dead, I the
traditional ruler of this community will tell you that he is
dead.”

29 year old Perpetual Ezenwa, has asked the customary
court in Igando Lagos State to dissolve her four months old marriage to Charles Ezenwa, claiming the man started
beating her less than 4 days after paying her dowry.
Perpetual said she married Charles after dating him for less than 2 months and now seeks divorce over what the she tagged domestic violence.

She said, "we married after courting for less than 2 months. Before I married him, I've started noticing his behaviors but when I told my father he said I should not leave him that he would change after our marriage.
"I believed he said that because they are from the same village in Imo and being the first daughter of my parents, they want me to marry on time. But, he kept becoming worse and I've decided to leave after 4 months of our marriage. 4 days after the payment of my dowry and our traditional marriage, he started beating me on flimsy excuses. He beats me with turning sticks in one of those days all because I received a text message from a friend and the message only reads "good day madam, how's your weekend ". This was what Charles saw that day and he nearly killed me. Come to think of it, this same man that was beating me is having an affairs with a fiancée of one of
our neighbors. He did was caught on one of those days
and I got to know about it. I told my father of all the happenstance but he would only say I should endure it. When I couldn't bear it again, I've moved to my parent's house and I've asked Charles to come and get his dowry back according to our tradition so that I can marry another man but, he has refused to collect it saying he would allow me to suffer because he knew I can't marry another man unless he collect the dowry and that I would grow old in my father's house."

She now wants the court to force him to collect back his
dowry. Charles was not in court to say his side of the story,
so the Court's president, Adegboyega Omilola who sat over the case sent a court order to him and the case was
adjourned till February 8, 2016.

Politics / Wife Pleads For Mercy As Ex-nsa Is Re-arrested by Lustig(m): 2:01pm On Dec 31, 2015
Former National Security Adviser (NSA) Sambo Dasuki’s
health is bad, his wife has said, pleading for his freedom.
Mrs Dasuki created a scene at the headquarters of the
Department of State Security Service (DSS) on Tuesday
night when she begged top officials of the agency not to
allow her husband die in custody.
She and other relations had waited patiently for Dasuki to
meet the last peg of his bail conditions, a surety with about
N250million property.
But immediately Dasuki was released at the prison, he was
re-arrested by the DSS.
After several hours of trying to locate her husband, she
returned to the DSS office and demanded for him or in the
alternative, she should be locked up with him.
She reportedly said: “Nigerians should help me beg the
Federal Government, the DSS and other agencies to release my husband who did his best to serve this nation. He is ill, he needs medical attention, he is not pretending. I implore the DSS not to allow him to die in custody.
“I saw my husband and I felt dejected. He is not just well.
Nigerians should assist him to get a reprieve. We(myself,
the children and relations) are all destabilised. We don’t
know what is happening because three courts have granted him bail. Why are they after him? Let those concerned respect the court by releasing my husband.
“There is no way my husband will run away from the
country under any guise. They should please follow the rule of law and uphold his right to bail.”
A source said Dasuki’s wife was allowed to see her husband.
“We have followed the rule of law , the ex-NSA is in safe
custody. He was once in DSS custody and he was never
maltreated and he had access to medicare,” the source
said.
A judge of the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory
(FCT), Justice Peter Affen last Wednesday banned the EFCC
from re-arresting Dasuki, ex-Minister Bashir Yuguda,
former Director of Finance at the Office of the National
Security Adviser (ONSA) Shuaibu Salisu, Sagir Attahiru and
former Governor Attahiru Dalhatu Bafarawa.
The order of the court followed the granting of the
application for bail by counsel to the defendants, including
Peter Akper (SAN); Ahmed Raji (SAN); Dr. J. O. Olatoke (SAN)
; H.O. Afolabi (SAN) and A.U Mustapha.
As at press time, all the accused persons were perfecting
their bail conditions.
Those whose bail terms have been approved are Salisu;
Bafarawa, ex-NNPC Executive Director Aminu Babakusa and others.
DSS operatives refused to allow Dasuki to go home on bail
even after he had perfected his bail consitions.
Counsel to Dasuki Mr. Ahmed Raji (SAN)confirmed to
PRNigeria that the former NSA had met all the bail
conditions given by Justice Affem but regretted that the
court order was not obeyed by the DSS.
Raji who perfected the bail condition of his client disclosed
that the actions of the security agents was an affront to the rule of law.

Education / ASUU-LASU Seeks 70 Years Retirement Age For Lecturers by Lustig(m): 7:31pm On Dec 30, 2015
The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Lagos
State University (LASU) chapter, has urged that professors
in the university be allowed to retire at the age of 70 instead of the current age of 65 that operates in the school.
Speaking during a Stakeholders’ Forum to consider A Bill For A Law To Amend The LASU Law, 2004 and other Connected Purposes’ organised by the Lagos State House of Assembly, the Chairman of ASUU-LASU chapter, Dr. Adekunle Idris, said that most of the professors leave the university for private universities and others in the country to seek greener pasture and work till age 70 after retiring in LASU at age 65.
According to him, some of the professors that are retiring
from the university use their students to conduct
researches and they end up short-changing the university.
Dr. Idris said that ASUU-LASU had been advocating single-
year tenure of five years for the Vice Chancellor of the
university and other principal officers of the institution for
some time now.
He said further that a holistic amendment of LASU law
should be done once and for all, adding that the autonomy
law of universities that operate in Nigeria should be
adopted in LASU.
“The federal law states that a joint committee of the council and senate shall choose the Vice Chancellor from three shortlisted candidates and submit the name to the
Governor for approval.
“The Governing Council would appoint the Vice Chancellor
and it would be approved by the Visitor, the Governor of
the state. The VC shall hold office for a single term of five
years. The VC may be removed from office by the Governing Council over gross misconduct or as a result of inability to discharge his duties over infirmity of the body or mind.
“The committee shall conduct investigations into allegations made against the VC and report to the Governing Council. There shall be no sole administrator in the university,” he said.
He added that principal officers of the University such as
Deputy Vice Chancellor, Registrar, Bursar and the Librarian
should also serve a single year tenure of five years and that those who are serving in the University now should be part of this proposition.
The Chairman of the House Committee on Education, Lanre Ogunyemi said in his speech at the event that the
amendment is aimed at enhancing the quality of education
being discharged in the University.
He stated that it will also assist in putting an end to the
protracted leadership crisis that has rocked the state-
owned tertiary institution and factors affecting
accreditation and de-accreditation of courses in the
institution would be considered.
“The single-term tenure considered in Schedule 1 of the
amendment is imperative because the institution since its
establishment has been bedeviled with internal crisis, which were targeted at sitting Vice-Chancellors, who desire to seek a second term in office,” he said.

Romance / My Girlfriend Brags She Had Multiple Orgasms with Her Ex, Why Can’t I? by Lustig(m): 4:21pm On Dec 30, 2015
I’ve been with my current girlfriend for two years and she
told me a few days ago that she often had multiple orgasms with a man she used to date before we met. With me she only orgasms once. She was almost bragging about this comparison and I felt really hurt. I don’t understand why she had them with this ex and not with me.

If she’s capable of having multiple orgasms with her ex, why isn’t it happening with us as well? I’m sure I’m a good lover and I must be doing something right to make her orgasm in the first place. I’ve asked her what he did to make her have more than one orgasm and she became flippant about it and said she wished she hadn’t told me because I was clearly uptight about it. Well, I am. I don’t think it’s fair to compare us both to my face. I don’t tell her about past lovers and how good they were in bed.
I particularly don’t think it’s fair to tell me and then not let
me the secret. Is there something I can do to make her
orgasm more or is it something that just happens on its
own?

Nairaland / General / Don’t Be Left Out: 5 Things To Do On Christmas Eve by Lustig(m): 1:23pm On Dec 24, 2015
In Nigeria, as with other parts of the world, the preparations for Christmas often hit the roof on the 24th December. To join in the excitement with pomp, Jovago.com, Africa’s No 1 hotel booking portal shares tips on the things you can do on the day before Xmas.
Do last minute shopping Many Nigerians have the knack for doing things at the eleventh hour. If you are yet to do your shopping, you still have ample opportunities to visit the mall. However, do not expect to walk in and walk out at the snap if your fingers because the malls will be flooded with other shoppers.
Go to Lagos shut down party The Lagos shut down party is one of the biggest gigs going down on Christmas eve in the center of excellence. The party will feature A-list artistes and disc jockeys. The event kicks off at at Muri Okunola Park, close to Radison Blu Anchorage Hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos.
Attend midnight mass For the religious and spiritually inclined, you can have a tranquil and solemn moment with the most-high at your primary place of worship. Many churches will be open round-the-clock to people who want to have an encounter with their maker. Now you finally get the chance to pray, praise and meet with long lost friends under one roof.
Open a Christmas Gift Even though the official day designated for opening gifts is boxing day, you can deviate from the norm by peeking in one of the goodie bags you have received on the eve of Christmas. Whichever gifts you want to open, ensure that it is something you can use immediately like a holiday movie, Christmas pajamas or a special ornament.
Watch the Stage play Hear Word! Watching a stage play is another pleasant way to usher in Christmas. Hear Word is a theatre production that concoct real experiences of women with social commentary. The play parades actresses like Taiwo Ajai-Lycett, Joke Silva, Bimbo Akintola and Deborah Ohiri among other top notch female acts. The play will be staged at Muson centre with two performances on Christmas eve at 2 pm and 7 pm.

Nairaland / General / Army Cautions Islamic Movement Of Nigeriaagainst Inciting Comments by Lustig(m): 1:13pm On Dec 24, 2015
The Nigerian Army has warned members of the Islamic
Movement of Nigeria, to desist from making misleading
comments, capable of breaching public peace and order.
This is contained in a statement issued by Army spokesman,
Col. Sani Usman and made available to the News Agency of
Nigeria (NAN).
“The Army is aware of clandestine campaign of calumny and
misinformation on the incident of Dec.12, 2015 in Zaria.’’
He said that “a group of high ranking members of Islamic
Movement of Nigeria (IMN), led by one Dr Abdullahi
Danladi, a lecturer at Ahmadu Bello University Zaria,’’ had
misrepresented facts about the incident.
“He was at the university on Wednesday soliciting for
support and telling lies about the circumstances
surrounding the incident and the incident itself.
“He also went further to make false and unfounded
allegations of casualty figures and desecration of burial
grounds.
“Dr Abdullahi Danladi and like minded individuals should be
warned to desist from telling lies and misrepresentation of
facts capable of misleading the general public.”
The statement said the actions of Danladi was
preposterous and showed lack of concern and respect for
peace and tranquility.
It said that the Army would not sit back and allow some
mischievous elements in the society to further create
unnecessary tension and disaffection in the society.
It urged the public to disregard the misleading campaign by
the sect.
“This attitude will not be tolerated where people abuse their
privileged position to mislead the public, create
disaffection.
“Nigerians and indeed all well meaning people are please
enjoined to be patient and await the outcome of the various
enquiries instituted by various government and non-
governmental agencies.”

Nairaland / General / NLC Opposes Electricity Tariff Hike by Lustig(m): 12:37pm On Dec 24, 2015
THE Nigeria Labour Congress’ (NLC) Central Working Committee has rejected the 45 per cent upward review of electricity tariff, demanding that pre-paid meters be made available free to electricity subscribers. The congress warned against the planned reintroduction of toll gates on federal highways, saying proceeds from the toll gates in the past were never put to judicious use, but used to “line the pockets of individuals”. In a communique at the end of its emergency meeting in Abuja, the NLC said increasing electricity tariff at this point in time with the challenges in the economy, which, it added, have adversely reduced the purchasing power of ordinary Nigerians and slowed down businesses, was not justifiable. The committee said electricity distribution companies have continued to exploit Nigerians through estimated billing systems for the majority of consumers, while deliberately refusing to make pre-paid meters available. The communique, which was signed by the NLC President Ayuba Wabba and its General Secretary, Dr. Peter Ozo- Eson, said: “It is clear, therefore, that the 45 per cent tariff increase is an additional heavy burden on consumers and will have a telling effect on business, especially manufacturing.” It noted “the enormous public resources expended in the past on the construction and demolition of toll gates” and added that “the proceeds from toll collection were never effectively deployed for the maintenance of roads, but lined the pockets of favoured collectors”. The NLC said it was convinced that proceeds from any new toll collections would suffer the same fate and stressed that it “disagrees with the planned” the fresh plan.. On the issue of the N18,000 minimum wage, the congress said: “There have been discordant tunes from state governors on the issue of the National Minimum Wage. Whereas, at one moment, they deny that there are plans to reduce the minimum wage, at another moment, they threaten to sack workers or reduce the minimum wage. “The National Minimum Wage of N18,000 has been rendered valueless by the mindless devaluation of the Naira and rising inflation. Moreover, it is legally due for a review. “It is a national law, which no governor can unilaterally review. In the light of the above, the CWC resolved to oppose any attempt by any governor to reduce or tamper with the minimum wage and mobilise all members of the congress to any state that reviews downward the minimum wage or resorts to laying off workers.”

lomaxx: Your post is too verbose and lacks practicability. Sex is not theory and wordy assertions. Sex is action. You crowned your depthless post by following up with subsequent name callings- calling folks "2 minute guys". What happened to the guy code??

@Topic. The answers are very simple. Have lots of sex. Means you've gotta find a girl who loves sex as well. The more sex you have, the more you'll be used to the feeling of a warm, wet vag.ina

pre-intimacy is important. What is more important is her pre-intimacy on you. If you're unlucky to have an inexperienced girl, sorry.

Don't go fast in the first round. The first round is just to create awareness. Take slow deep thrusts. She may ask you to go faster. Well, do it at your own risk. Back in the days when I was still learning, I'll prefer to play series of soothing slow music in the first round. It builds the tempo.

In subsequent rounds, f.uck her. Spare no emotion, speed or depth. Go as deeper and as faster as you can. Make sure you come back for round 2,3,4,5,6 and so on. Sex doesn't end when you ejaculate.

You won't have to do all these forever. It's just for a start...we all had our beginning days. As time goes on, learn to master your body to know when you're gonna shoot and few seconds before then, you slow down. That feeling is gonna pass. And then you go again as if nothing happened. Anything to please your woman.

Finally, as time goes on, your body is gonna get adjusted to the mechanics of penetration while having sex. You will be able to control your shooting time and all that. You can last an hour if you want.

Good luck.
Phew! Speechless, just speechless! All boys make una follow d above pattern and she go always run back to u.... Tuale Ogbeni
