hazyfm: IBB SAID CORRUPTION IS WORST IN THIS REGIME THAN IT WAS IN HIS OWN REGIME AND THIS IS ALL U HAVE TO SAY? If IBB did a quarter of what GEJ is doing now 25yrs ago, Nigeria would have been a lot better than what we are now. |

Stating the obvious by Seun Kuti. The group of ex-generals like IBB, OBJ & GMB that mismanaged our past, jeopardised our present & mortgaged our future are the ones trying to desperatly scuttle the new foundation God is laying for us in Nigeria through GEJ all in the name of change. Change from.what to what, i don't know.
SAY NO TO ANY EX-GENERAL RULING NIGERIA AGAIN. |

OLUJOSHINS: If insurgents last more than one day in Nigeria, the government has a hand in it- Sanni Abacha.
Abacha did not say "an old popular once military involved godfather has a hand in it". No individual is more powerful than the Commander in Chief. No plan of a combined force of OBJ, IBB & Buhari can terrorise the government of GEJ if he does not want to be terrorised. Please ignore the false statistics of the GEJ till 2019 folks Buhari is not the leader of Boko Haram. Boko Haram are still there cos Jona wants them there. Fact is Buhari, like most Northern islamic extremists, was sympathetic to boko haram's cause, he toned down his rhetorics as elections approached. |

OLUJOSHINS: I see Ur point. But I must also ask What has he been given the chance to do? Had the opportunity to halt the blood letting of the aftermath of his 2011 election loss & did nothing & a proverb says ' he who is quiet is aggreement' by his silence. |

theV0ice: Yet gej has Fulani among his donors and campaign managers or is Ramalan Yero an urhobo christian? Is IBB an ijaw christian? Will you expect gej to get some votes in sokoto? How do you think he'll win without any votes from Hausa/Fulani? Or has he placed all hopes on rigging?
Why didn't buhari islamise Nigeria and enslave you and I when he ruled as a military man in 1983?
Also the crusade had a lot to do with territory. Were the crusaders planning to return Jerusalem to the Jews? IBB is Nupe, Yero is Hausa from Zazzau, they are not Fulanis. |

Politics › Re: Nigeria History with the "Organization Of Islamic Conference (oic)" by luvinhubby(m): 10:56am On Jan 02, 2015 |
theV0ice: Turkey became Muslim since the Ottoman empire was founded in 1299 and it was through wars of territorial expansion the same way Christianity was spread by the catholic church to some places during the crusades. You can't use that as template for a Nigerian democracy of 2015.
If you believe Nigeria can become islamised because of what happened 800 years ago, then you must also believe you can be sold into slavery today because history repeats itself.
Nigeria of 2015 isn't Anatolia of 1299 Read history well, catholic crusaders was more of territory defence than expansion. Slavery is still being practiced by Sudanese moslems against blacks in sudan, why? Because an extremist like Omar Al-bashir is their 'elected' president in 2015. This is 2015 & the horrors of Darfur is unfolding in our very eyes. Nigeria cannot be left in the hands of a Fulani man, conidering what his brothers are doing in Niger,Mali & Sudan, no, it is too dangerous. |
Politics › Re: Nigeria History with the "Organization Of Islamic Conference (oic)" by luvinhubby(m): 10:29am On Jan 02, 2015 |
theV0ice: You're the poor student of history and trends if you delude yourself into thinking that Nigeria will be islamised in 2015 by a man elected as president. You make it worse comparing the ottoman empire of over 800 years ago with a democracy in 2015.
What else will you bring up? That calabar people will start killing twins again while we pray for another Mary slessor right? Then you must be scared they'll capture you and sell you into slavery which ended less than 300years ago too abi?
If you want to be honest with yourself, when did turkey become a Muslim nation?
Keep regurgitating empty propaganda if you wish History has a way of repeating itself times over again for those who do not do anything to guard against it. This may not be the 14th century but the aggression, violence & extremism of the 14th century still thrives through religions. And who told you that violence & extremism is alien to democratic set ups. Democracy grants you access to political power, the barrel of the gun sustains you in it. Power is in the guns & who controls them & leaving it in the hands of an extremist is suicidal. Regurgitating history is NOT empty propaganda my friend. Turkey officially became an Islamic nation the 1950s, but Istanbul had been a Sunni dominated caliphate since the 15th century. |

theV0ice: Anybody thinking sharia will be practiced in rivers state even if ayatollah khamenei becomes Nigerian president is a child who must believe Santa Claus is real and anybody thinking he can islamise Nigeria is a dunce.
This propaganda has gone past its sell by date. Its proponents should try another one. You are a poor student of history. Islam never spreads with persuasive arguement, but through forced conversion & violent jihad. That was the same posture of christians in constantinople in present day Turkey before the Othoman's conquest & forceful conversion that turned it to present day Istanbul. If they forced Nigeria into O.I.C, enthroned sharia in Northern states, made moves to do so im Kwara, Kogi & Oyo states, i wonder what makes you think they cannot toy with Southern states if Nigeria has an extremist as commander in chief in a moslems dominated armed forces. We do not need an intollerant extremist as head of state, no not now. |
