PoliticsFull Text Of President Buhari's Children's Day Message + Photos by luvkidtemmy(op): 3:25pm On May 27, 2018
Today affords me another opportunity to re-affirm our Administration’s commitment to the protection of children, a day to reflect on our roles and responsibilities as Parents and Leaders towards our children, and also assessing how far we have fared in this regard.

As you may recall, one of the cardinal objectives of this Administration is the provision of quality education to our children as a fundamental foundation of economic and social development. In this regard, I am pleased to inform you that this Administration has recorded measurable success in the home grown school feeding programme as it has continued to expand.

Our children are our future, and the initiatives that come from them give confidence that our country has a bright future.

I am always inspired and encouraged when I remember encounters I had with three of our young ones. When I was on medical vacation in 2017, three year old Maya Jammal recorded a prayer for my recovery, which went viral online.

Also, 10 year old Aisha Aliyu Gebbi wrote a personal letter to me, describing herself as my “biggest fan”.

Nicole Benson, then 12 years old, had contributed the sum of Five Thousand, Seven Hundred Naira and Eighty-Five kobo (N5,700.85) to my campaign in 2015. The money was all saved up from her lunch and pocket allowance. There are millions of such children nationwide.

I am very impressed by what our children have been able to do, and what the future holds for them. That is one reason why we are committed to the school feeding programme, to prepare a future generation of physically and intellectually robust children. At the last count, over 8.2 million children in 24 states of the Federation are being given free meals daily. This happens in 45,000 schools round the country.

I therefore call on all stakeholders to support this programme to ensure that all the 36 States of the Federation and FCT are covered. This will promote substantially higher enrolment levels in our schools.

Since its inception in May, 2015, this Administration has also focused attention on addressing issues of child protection, participation and survival. In 2015, the campaign to end violence against children was launched which was commemorated in 2016. In November 2016, the Campaign to End Child Marriage was also launched to ensure that as many children as possible are able to fully enjoy their childhood and be protected from all the challenges associated with this phenomenon. These campaigns have been reinforced with sensitization campaigns in some States of the Federation.

The theme for this year’s celebration “Creating Safe Spaces for Children: Our Collective Responsibility” is an opportunity to promote the safety and security of our children. As a responsible Government, we are committed to ensuring that children are protected from violence and exploitation against them, and, that their environments are safe enough for them to pursue their educational attainments, discover their full potentials to grow into responsible citizens.

This Administration has made giant strides in the protection of the Rights of the Nigerian Child and as a result of such efforts, Nigeria has been declared a Pathfinding Country on Ending Violence Against Children. This I believe is a collective achievement and I urge us to continue to build on the present momentum to achieve the targets of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

In our efforts to protect our children from abuse, exploitation and trafficking as well as provide safe, non-violent inclusive and effective learning environment in our schools, this Administration has directed the management of all Federal Government Colleges and advised all state owned schools across the Country to provide adequate measures of safety and security of their students. I again call on all schools management committees at all levels of public and private institutions to take adequate security measures and put in place mechanisms for safety of children.

May I therefore call on the Families, Security Agencies, Traditional Rulers, Religious Leaders, Civil Society Organizations, Human Rights Activists, and the Society at large to rise up and take urgent and decisive actions to stem the unacceptable rising cases of violence against our children. We must ensure safety of our children in homes, schools, markets, worship centres, on the streets and everywhere at all times.

Furthermore let me use this medium to appeal to parents not to relent in their efforts to send their wards to school, especially the girl child as her education reduces infant and maternal mortality and prevents early and child marriages. It also increases literacy and reduces poverty. The saying that to educate a woman is to educate the nation is very apt in this regard.

Finally, while I appreciate the security agencies for their efforts so far, I urge them to redouble their efforts in protecting children from danger and violence in line with the provisions of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and Child Rights Acts, 2003.

Once again, happy Children’s Day.

TravelOPINION: TOP 3 Practice To Check Before Going To A Rural Environment - 9japosh by luvkidtemmy(op): 6:42am On Apr 15, 2018
As to living in a rural environment in Nigeria there are alot of practices you should put into place to survive the unfavorable situation you must meet where you’re being posted to either as a youth corner or employment basis.

A rural area has been termed as that environment which does not enjoy most of modernization and also lack social amenities such as light, good roads, viable public transport to mention a few. This areas areas are mostly termed as “village” in the Nigerian Language to express a place which is Less developed unlike city places across major state capitals in Nigeria.

As a young or middle age individual, you won’t mostly like to go into this area because chances of survival may be very minimal based on thier way of living, social facilities etc.

I have analysed 3 practice to put in place or needs to survive in the area.

3. Have A Power Facility
You don’t want to loose your gadgets to non effect of light or loss of power, you know you cant develop a long discussion with people in areas like that, you mode of living is totally different from Thier and you’d want to have move in your normal circle online. That is why you need a very good power system either a solar charged power bank or a mini generator to charge your gadgets

2. Fast Internet Facility
As a young determined person or actually you have an very online based fans you’d want to always connect with, you need to have subscriptions on average three networks so as to keep your online productions on the minimum level, network failure may occur in cases where a particular network cables or air service may not reach. The others will be available, of things like this occur, you may be limited to having little or nothing to do that is why you need to have internet facilities on other network available to you.

1. Be Security Conscious
This is the first and most important thing you should put into practice as a refugee in any land you may be visiting, in Nigeria ethnicity has been diversed in so many ways as people tend to protect their land against strangers and also other unforeseen personalities which may not be on the side of you as a visitor. You need to learn how you can integrate into their practices first and also move along very fast with what they eat and how they greet as that will be what might make them not firstly reject you. Security also span to what you intake as an individual so you don’t let this get the bad part of you, be careful of what you ingest ans live healthy

That has been what we think can keep you strong and healthy being a refugee in a land considered as a rural environment, this piece is brought together by Gabriel Temmy of 9japosh.com. Share with us you ideas or experience about this through the comment box below, let others get informed

Politics#EKITI2018:APC Governorship Aspirants Meets With Bloggers & Journalist (photos) by luvkidtemmy(op): 11:02pm On Apr 03, 2018
Abiodun Isola Fapohunda #AIF is an Ekiti born lawyer who grew and spend most of his childhood in the Ekiti Central senatorial district of the state precisely Okemesi Ekiti. Isola Fapohunda is an enthusiastic individual primarily committed to develop and touch positively every life he has come across in his course of living which made him one of the vibrant Governorship aspirants in the coming elections.

Running through a brief history of his political ambitions, Isola Fapohunda has once contested for the Ekiti West Consistency 2, State house of Assembly seat in 2003 under the flagship of the then Alliance for democracy(AD) but lost. With a mind of truism and oneness, he remained committed to the service of humanity and stayed loyal to the party till 2011 when he was appointed as the special assistant (Legal) public private partnership by the then governor of Ekiti State (Now Minister of Solid Minerals) a post he held through the duration of his Government. Fapohunda has been remarkably generous and vibrant in the service to humanity. Speaking with several Journalist and bloggers in Ado Ekiti, he made a landmark as one of the aspirants to have welcomed a team of bloggers and journalist in a press review even when his election is still at primary stage.

Read few of his conversation with 9japosh Delegate below:

9jp Delegate: Most of Ekiti state aspirants/politicians has been tagged as either a Contender/Pretender, Where do you think you fit in between this big names?

Isola Fapohunda: This issue is believed to have been coined and I believe it came right from the press. This is the first time this kind of advantage is made to engage political aspirants in a situation to talk with the people, to note the fact, we are in a smooth rancour presently. Who are pretenders? Who are contenders? I don’t know, will I pick up the form of my party?, that is the goal. will I be the next governor of my party? I make bold to tell you APC will form the next government in Ekiti but what I will tell you is APC must pick the right candidate.

9jp Delegate: How do you think your Experience will fit in if you emerge as the next Governor?

Isola Fapohunda: I am a product of public school in Ekiti state, I attended most of my education in Okemesi and with experience in life and legal practices, I have basically learnt a lot which has helped me face life challenges. I have ran private practices which I employed people, but we are driven by life experiences. I have gained from leaders who have sat back and who wanted the society to be a better place. When you’re a leader in a state, it goes beyond construction of buildings.

9jp Delegate: In your references, You said Fayemi is your leader being that he has once given you an appointment and now you were both aspirants. Are you going to step down for Fayemi if needs arises?

Isola Fapohunda: I served proudly with JKF and I refer to him as my mentor, but we have not heard him officially coming out to declare his ambition in the Governorship race at this time because we don’t derail and loose focus and besides we can’t take their consistutional right to contest and a question always bothers me, do our leaders know things that we don’t? Will I be stepping down for anybody? This is the only way to answer that question: The Progressive family is a family, in other words we have delegates and super delegates. People will still sit but as aspirants, we need to put our intentions known first.

9jp Delegate: What are your plans for the youth in the state?

Isola Fapohunda: On the issue of youth is what I am very passionate about, I once asked a brother of mine about his age and he told me he is 35yrs old. We are all aware there are people who are of equivalent to that age governing countries with economies that almost beat that of Nigeria. Our children spending too long in education which Nigeria need to look into the National Policy Of Education, I believe people should end school at least at the age of 22. We need to reorientate our youth as part of our upgrade ekiti policy.

In his statement, he made the fact known that ekiti needs no CEO Governor, the state needs a Governor who can upgrade the state of its educational, health, infrastructural development which can take up the state to the next level, with a state with advantage of personells who have brain to think bright.

“We need to Upgrade ekiti in another level of development to repair and reshape the state among other states in the federation, You cannot compare yourself with yourself. Ekiti is an agrarian state, why is Ekiti not supplying rice within the federation instead of Lagos pumping money into Kebbi State”

Isola Fapohunda is an aspirant of simplicity and modal activities, he goes by the policy to upgrade ekiti state, he is accessible and just. He has better plans to move Ekiti into another level, with the right energy Isola Fapohunda is ready to serve under the flagship of All Progressive Congress.

RomanceProstitute Gets A Plots Of Land As Retirement Gist After 23 Years (photos) by luvkidtemmy(op): 8:44pm On Feb 16, 2018
A 49-year-old city sex worker has decided to retire from the trade in Kenya

Sarah Mutero, who claimed to have ‘serviced’ over 28,000 men in the course of 23 years of active commercial sex work, received a parcel of land worth Sh120,000 (about $1,190), as part of her retirement benefits from wellwishers.

For 23 years, Mutero had been a sex worker, having serviced thousands of men at her hometown of Embu, Nairobi city centre and in Majengo area. She claims she would service 20 or more men in a day in her younger years.

But as age set in, with hard economic times and stiff competition, she could only manage four customers daily. This means an average of 100 men per month. “It is not an easy thing to satisfy such a big number of men, some being ruthless, yet we end up poor.

We earn peanuts that we can’t even save. Everything I have earned in servicing needy men went to clothes, shelter and food for my children as well as education,” she said. She added that in sex business, pricing is determined by standards and location.

Celebrities"I Am Not The Type That Uses My Father's Influence Like Davido"-dj Cuppy Speak by luvkidtemmy(op): 8:16pm On Feb 16, 2018
DJ Cuppy daughter of billionaire Femi Otedola has revealed that she doesn’t exploit her father’s influence to get things done like Davido does. Most people would believe that since her father is rich and influential, she would always have it easy where others find it very difficult.

But such is not the case all the time for the alluring DJ recently turned performing artiste. During her chat with E-Daily, DJ Cuppy her dad’s name rarely opens all doors for her though she is the daughter of an oil magnate popularly know.

Her words:

People have to understand that just because I was born into my family does not mean that it opens all doors, that is everyone’s outside perspective. My inside perspective is just being someone’s child; how can being someone’s child be used against you?
I can walk into a room and before I even open my mouth, everyone has decided, and it’s like you are not giving a young woman a chance to even prove herself.” She added that unlike Davido, she is not the type who would exploit her father’s influence to get things done.

The only difference between Davido and I is that he decided to use the influence as an advantage from an early stage.
So David was like I am ‘omo baba olowo’ (OBO), take it or leave it! I’m not that kind of person, he was smart though, because before you can even do anything, he has already told you he is the son of a millionaire.

He did his brand thing well and he’s about that lush life, he lives large and he’s not apologising for who he is,” she said

Few days ago Billionaire daughter, Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola a.k.a DJ Cuppy was the official DJ at the Global Citizen event held in Dakar, she had a session of teaching French president Emmanuel Macron and Senegalese president, Macky Sall how to DJ.
