BetaTechnicians: Our attention was drawn to the innjoo powerbank due to the stated price and it's corresponding 10000mAh capacity so We decided to get a unit and check out how true it is.We placed the order for the powerbank at around 11pm on 20th October, We got a call confirming the order from jumia in the morning of the next day, got a notification for delivery on 22nd October and the powerbank was delivered same day.
We received a silver unit. After the unboxing, We checked the battery level and the indicator lighted up 3 bars so We started charging with a 5v 1A charger and the status bar started blinking from the third bar. That took like over 3 hours, then the 4th bar (which is the last bar) started charging and continued for over 11 hours which brings the total charging time to over 15 hours and it never stopped till this post is being made. guess the last bar does not have a charging limit? or is our unit defective? and this goes contrary to the 'About 10 hours' charging time stated by innjoo in the powerbank specifications.
Though We have not verified the capacity of the battery but we would like to make a few comments about the design. **There should have been a designated output port for 5V/1A instead of just the singular 5V/2A, not all devices would be comfortable with such 'overfeeding' of current. **The design of the powerbank feels classy with the mix of plastic and metallic casing especially with the silver colour. **Regarding the weight, it is not a pocket-friendly weight so you may want to have a rethink before dropping it in your pocket, this is expected considering the battery it is said to contain. **The overall design is well above average for the price and we really hope it lives up to same or better expectation when we test the performance.
SPINA101: Firstly, i feel so silly and used. okay, the real story is this, I promised my girlfriend (Now ex) a Samsung Note 3 phone for her birthday. Luckily for me at my place of work, the cooperative had the same phone up for pick up. As a guy who is deeply in love and knows that giving is part of maintaining a healthy relationship, i decided to pick up 2 Samsung Note 3 at the rate of N130,000 to be paid over a period of 12 months. Good news, the birthday came and i delivered. Bad news, just 2days after my warm heart gift to her, she BROKE UP WITH ME. REASON: She doesn't see a future, blah blah blah...family issues, cultural differences. i'm in the second month of my payment now. still paying for my Ex phone. Advice: Can I ask her for the phone back? i feel cheated. (To make matters worse, she even uses her new bobo as Dp's on her bbm, for a phone i'm still going to be indebted for the next 10 months.
How many times have we discussed this kinda topic here?
afrorich: I observe with pity to see the way nigerian online community are handicapped by paypal and feel very sorry. No doubt paypal is the best thing to ever happen on internet. Without paypal you cannot buy or sell. In short paypal is internet currency. Nigeria had just been accepted as one of paypal eligible country. But my brothers and sisters nigerian paypal is as good as none existence. You cannot receive money, you can send money only. What a liability. It only takes from; it doesnt add to you. I just feel like helping people get a working paypal. Sure i can do it. If you find a need to have a paypal that works. Let me know.
