yawa-ti-de:

what do u do with your 12 hrs? Browse porn? Stare at the screen and bat your eyelashes?

Seriously though, if you are browsing the internet for 12 hrs and it isn't for the purpose of earning a living, I think something is wrong somewhere. What could you do? Worse case, you could chat with people unknown, tout your talents and hope that someone takes the bite.

wow! 12 hours. That's half a day. Time is money man. Spending that much time online should equate to that much money too.

Good luck!

Hi when i say 12hrs i mean 12hrs of daytime and sorry porn is not my catch which is for mere men who are tripped by it. This is a forum i believe should guide and advise and that is why i asked the question.

wow! 12 hours. That's half a day. Time is money man. Spending that much time online should equate to that much money too.

and that is why i am asking for your ideas if any. thanks

Dating And Meet-up Zone / A Dozen Ways To Get To Know Your Real Partner by luvus: 9:22am On May 28, 2008
hello forum i came across an interesting article and decided to share it with the forum and hope it will give us singles to evaluate our relationships positively before we commit to our spouses. happy reading.

By Stacy D. Phillips

In my line of work -- family law -- I often hear the same old refrain when a client explains to me why she/she splits from a significant other. It goes like this: "I guess I didn't really know my partner after all." You might ask: How could that be? How could you have an intimate relationship with someone only to wake up one day to find out that the person you fell in love with is not the person he/she turned out to be?
I believe there are at least a dozen ways to know who someone really is -- indicators -- and if we do an inventory early on, we might stand a better chance of getting to know the real person before we fully commit. The following "observance" suggestions are important ones to make in the early stages of any relationship because each offers insight into habits, patterns, and behaviors. As you ponder these observations, know that there is no right or wrong; it's a matter of acceptance. Sometimes we have to accept quirks and differences as part of the give-and-take process. As you do your assessment, however, the goal is to decide whether or not you can live with or without your real partner.

Here are the dozen indicators:

1. Protocol: First or Second? Whether it's walking through a door, ordering dinner, or taking a bite out of the freshly baked cookies you have made together, if your partner always has to go first this could indicate self-centeredness. Are you willing to always be the giver?

2. Politics: Liberal or Conservative? How your partner views what is right or wrong in a political sense tells you a lot about his/her deep inner beliefs about society, and ultimately, the way he/she will approach your relationship issues. Will his/her views cause a rift in your relationship?

3. Television: Sitcoms or News? If your partner's tendency is to watch "escape" TV programs versus "newsy/event" oriented ones, you can learn a lot about one's intellect. Do you want a mate who can keep up with your every day interest in what is going on in the world or a person you can run away with to avoid the world we live in?

4. Money: Flash or Stash? If your partner throws money around while dating, he/she might well be reckless with your joint finances when you move in together. Do you want to hook up with a tightwad or splurger?

5. Stress: Freak or Peak? Under pressure, does he/she go to pieces or rise to the top of his game? If the answer is the former, every minor incident in your relationship might become a crisis. Do you like a lot of drama?

6. Conversation: About You or Your Partner? As you first get to know each other does he always talk about himself/herself first or you? If your partner is usually the topic priority do not expect that to change. Can you subordinate yourself to the world revolving around him/her?

7. Pets: Warm or Aloof? Believe it or not, the way in which your partner treats animals will not be dissimilar to how he/she treats your children. How do you want him/her to treat your loved ones?

8. Communication: Listens or Ignores? If you have something you want to talk about and he/she tunes you out as a general rule, can you cope?

9. Strangers: Kind or Rude? How your partner treats those they do not know (waiters, grocery clerks) often reflects on how your partner will treat people in general, including you, shortly after the glow wears off.

10. Priorities: Family or Work? You can tell almost immediately where a person's preferences lie in terms of what comes first (a family member's illness or a business trip) by the choices your partner makes when faced with an "either/or" situation. Do you care if your partner leaves on the next plane to present the such-and-such report if you or the kids have pneumonia?

11. Appearance: Fat or Fit? How your partner regards his/her appearance screams loudly about his/her sense of self-esteem. Those who eat sensibly, workout reasonably, and who take pride in their appearance are the ones who have a great sense of self. Does he/she really have self-confidence or might it be a front?

12. Faith: Strong or Weak? If you want a peek at his/her soul, learn more about his spirituality, or lack of it. What your partner believes deep down is often what shapes the way in which he/she conducts his day-to-day affairs. What is your mate's "words to live by?"

Religion / Re: Satan, Athiest And Worship Of God, by luvus: 10:49am On Apr 26, 2008
dear all

great they dont believe becos the god of this world have blinded them from seeing the glory of Christ.
secondly evolution which has its core to prove that God does not exist didnt start in the 1800, according to david in psalms 14:1 - The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, they do abominable deeds, there is none who does good.
so david knew that there were people who said there is no God prior to 1800.
Religion / Satan, Athiest And Worship Of God, by luvus: 3:15pm On Apr 25, 2008
Hello
Athiest all u pple are trying but no God exist and u know u are a prove that God exist! Yes! the athiest do not hinder me but infact make my knowing of Jesus Christ all the more great. Why and how you may ask, simply this truth i understood via the man of God Robert Morris of the Gateway Church where he was narrating how the devil desired worship and there and then i understood why we have athiest etc who want to prove that there is no God.

The origin of the lie of evolution began with satan. You know according to Eze 28:12-26 where it was stated the description of satan, what he does until iniquity was found in him. now looking at what satan (lucifer) did before God cast him out of His(God) presence, was to lead the angels to worship God, but becos he desired to be worshipped like God, he had to cast away from heaven. now since he (satan) knows that God is raising another worship leader whcih is the Bride of Christ (Rev21:9- end)
And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife.

10And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,

11Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;

12And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:

13On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates.

14And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

15And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof.

16And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal.

17And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel.

18And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass.

19And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald;

20The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolyte; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst.

21And the twelve gates were twelve pearls: every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass.

22And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.

23And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.

24And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.

25And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.

26And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it.

27And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.

you would notice in v19 it says that 19And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. which is similar to satan b4 he was cast out of the presence of God Eze 28:13 Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created..

Now why evolution is championed by athiests is this satan does not want man to worship God cos God is seeking thse that will worship Him (God) in Spirit and in Truth Jn4:23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. Therefore if he can use athiests to make the world believe there is no God or satan, men would not seek to worship God. and if there is no God, the bible is "bunch of fables". furthermore if the bible is a lie, all the information about Jesus Christ is lie and hence no death, no burial, no resurrection; thus no man will be saved hence God will not be worshipped.

We can see that if u see why all the confusion, wars, calamity etc around us is satan trying as hard as he can to prevent man from worshipping God. But the final is Revelation whereby satan the old serpent who decieved the world using athiests etc will be destroyed and we (those that believe in Jesus Christ and continue in Him) will continue to WORSHIP GOD as God intended.

So please lets start worshipping God in our closeth in Spirit and in Truth and for those that dont believe in Jesus Christ come believe and be saved, join us in worshipping God.

Peace. Shalom, Salam!!!

for the unsaved, flirting which leads one to have sex, is normal for them

but for the new men in Christ, just depend on the Spirit of Christ in you who will enable you to apply the scripture "Abtain from all appearance of evil" for you Know na God create the interest in us for the opposite sex but the flesh wants to abuse it so please depend on Christ to enable u apply his word appropriately.

Religion / No Need To Argue Wit An Atheist. by luvus: 1:28pm On Mar 28, 2008
Acts 17:2-3
2 And Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, and three sabbath days reasoned with them out of the scriptures,
3 Opening and alleging, that Christ must needs have suffered, and risen again from the dead; and that this Jesus, whom I preach unto you, is Christ.
(KJV)

From the foregoing, I encountered atheist & scoffers in this forum where they scoffed at the scripture, God, Jesus Christ. And through the mercies of God, I felt led to withdraw from such arguments which refused to accept the scripture as the Word of God. However, we see Paul reasoned with them from the scripture only. Atheist who reject God, Christ Jesus and the Scripture, it of no use trying to reason with them out of the scriptures.

Acts 17:1-9 PP7

3. He reasoned with them out of the scriptures. They agreed with him to receive the scriptures of the Old Testament: so far they were of a mind. But they received the scripture, and therefore thought they had reason to reject Christ; Paul received the scripture, and therefore saw great reason to embrace Christ. It was therefore requisite, in order to their conviction, that he should, by reasoning with them, the Spirit setting with him, convince them that his inferences from the scripture were right and theirs were wrong. Note, The preaching of the gospel should be both scriptural preaching and rational; such Paul's was, for he reasoned out of the scriptures: we must take the scriptures for our foundation, our oracle, and touchstone, and then reason out of them and upon them, and against those who, though they pretend zeal for the scriptures, as the Jews did, yet wrest them to their own destruction. Reason must not be set up in competition with the scripture, but it must be made use of in explaining and applying the scripture.
(from Matthew Henry's Commentary)

So if the Spirit of God grants them mercy good, if not… let the scripture be the judge.

Religion / Re: Karma And Evolution by luvus: 3:32pm On Mar 13, 2008
hi kag

First, that no tangible evidence exists foe the existence of gods, that they are always hidden behind the recesses in knowledge, and that for things with so many allocated properties they cannot be potentially tested or falsified in any way, indicates that gods, including the Christian one, are imaginary. To quote Anthony Flew, "Just how does what you call an invisible, intangible, eternally elusive [god] differ from an imaginary [god] or even from no [god] at all?" [1]. Furthermore, since we can deduce the reasons for why humans may have needed to create gods, and strongly infer how the gods could have come into being as a result of human agents, we can further still see why the gods are imaginary

Secondly, god by its very definition is of a mythological nature. To ask that I prove that a god is mythological is to misunderstand what the terms imply. so, unless you have positive evidence you've been keeping secret, god belongs to mythology [2].

Finally, like I said on numerous occasions, science doesn't do proofs. Alcoholics who practise science may, but science doesn't. What can be shown though is the likelihood of something or the other. by the way, were you seriously asking me to use science to prove an unevidenced god is mythological?

ok since u say god is a myth, so karma doesnt exist? just answer
Religion / Re: Karma And Evolution by luvus: 3:29pm On Mar 13, 2008
hi kag
First, you can't evolve into a tree because you are *gasp* an animal. Take some time to think about it.

mmmh! but since all according to evolution came as result of the big bang, that should not stop me from changing since as u claim we are from same source abi?. abi going by the mundane theory of evoluton and by the way am no animal whatsover

Second, the theory of evolution deals with the genetic and phenotypic changes in species. It doesn't care about human philosphies. You might as well ask how the theory of relativity can make you stop cheating your spouse, for all the lack of sense you're making.

sorry that is why evolution is pathetic, animals dont need karma and that is what evolution wants me to accept that i am an animal? and u know what, since animals dont recognise nor experienc karma, they live any how which is what atheist want us to accept, asssuring us that there is no consequence. but check history u will see that karma exist and there is consequence. eg imeldia of philipine, govnor of New york latest etc

so sorry i cant accept me as animal am sensible to recognise the diffrence btw light and darkness.

Finally, accepting the theory of evolution isn't a necessary action for atheists and atheism. Fact is, many atheists existd before the formulation of the theory of evolution, and a few non-theists still don't accept evolution.

even non atheist accept, believe in karma and are careful to avoid consequnces.

hi imotep

i simply asked them the darwin cohorts a question how i can evolve into a tree to avoid the consequence of wat i had previously done, yet they cant give an answer and say evolution has no jurisdiction over karma yet we see it in action all around us. but they have the guts to claim God (have mercy on their souls) doesnt exist

i rather believe in God and be foolish a willing ignoramus to the atheist than to believe in evolution. at least since i acknowledge God, i have a responsibility to be careful in all i do to avoid negative consequnces.
Religion / Re: Karma And Evolution by luvus: 10:33am On Mar 12, 2008
abi, how old u dey? you need to go back to school, u know. my goodness, are u able to function in this world?

Oh so is the issue of school ehh. no problem i am still educating myself on the farce called EVOLUTION. moreover i de fxn very well well.

u see even though it may sound foolish, but the truth is that evolution is just another human errors that have been going on for sometime now. and it believes that wat we have here is just a "random reaction" of some sort giving rise to what we have today as the earth.

now in the world we are living in which evolution assumes that it randomly occured, evolution cannot prove karma nor disprove its existence yet we see it happening all around us.

so in conclusion, i believe that what evolution cant prove using its assumed science, it concludes doesnt exist hence has no right to say God doesnt exist. i will be a daft to accept evolution. period
Religion / Re: Karma And Evolution by luvus: 4:07pm On Mar 11, 2008
hi
grin grin grin grin grin grin

yeap laf at the creationsit lol

Is this karma? Science makes no jurisdiction over this area, as far a I know. Why do you think this should have a link with evolution?

Does this have a link with the theory of disease, or gravity or the law of supply and demand? If it does, why don't you question these other well established theories?

ok enof of the lafta. so if evolution can not lay hold on issues of karma, and evolution assumes it doesnt exist and cannot define it yet we see (bot u and me) it at work whether we choose to believe it or not; then what right have u to determine based on the limitedness of man to determine that GOD doesnt exist?? becos u cant scientifically prove it so it doesnt exist

u see evolution is still a farce, what it cant prove, it assumes doesnt exist and that is way too bad,

ok how can u diddrenetiate between good and evil, is there a scientific parameter
lets say osama is bad, how do u know he is bad, u scientifically prove his bad
ie scientically;

osama is bad because x*2/hu6*pot-56=bang bang ^2222222222222222222222222??

so u see so many things like karma that evolutionist can only rattle but it continue to exist irrespective of whether u choose to accept it or not. period
