@ away4real The fact that i don't have to learn Hebrew, Greek or whatever and that the life transforming power of the bible is not tied to a language of men actually tells much of the authenticity. No matter how hard men try to distort the message, the bible has only become clearer, its all about the spirit, which the Koran offers little about. i like the bolden statement, the spirit not just the letter which kills. @all u see the more all of em expose themselves, the more all of us see and the thousand alloevr the world that view this thread about the koran. continue exposing u we are seeing u more and more, |
@poster nice article of hope and trust. the article wasnt judgmental yet pointed out the sinfulness of less-bianism (gues it means less being? ). so may God direct us more towards Him. Jesus is God |

@hi olabolwale (a) There is only One Book Bind form of Qur'an commissioned by the First Caliphah, Abu Bakr. This only Complete Qur'an in Binded Book form was in the custodial hand of Hafsat; one of the Surviving wives of the Messenger. She was also the daughter of Umar Khattab, who became the second Caliphah, succeeding Abu Bakr. This single 'Complete Qur'an,' was never used not once, during Abu Bakr Caliphate after it was it was placed in the hand of Hafsah> Pay attention that Abu Bakr did not make Aisha, is daughter the custodian. (b) It was not recorded that in the caliphate, Umar Khattab, the second Caliphah, once required the the custodian, his daughter Hafsah, to bring out the Qur'an for any single usage. We must know and take into account that the tens of thousands of companionswere still alive, and each memorized as much of all the revelations, the Qur'an in degree of individual capability. For example, it many years for Umah Khattab to memorize Surah baqarah. (c) Now we come to the caliphate of Uthman Affan. The third caliphah. We see that when this Kalifah decided to make the many Mushaf(s), based on tone and accent of recitations, he had to request from Hafsat, the custodian of the 'Qur'an,' who is the daughter of Umar his predecessor, his own mother by the virtue that she is a wife of the Prophet, to relaese the Qur'an in her possession, for the benefit of the Muslim Ummah. It was this Qur'an and the reconfirmation of each ayah, by any and all who has a copy of that ayah, on one hand and recitaions of the ayah on another hand. So what you have is a master piece, the single book bind Qur'an, from the time of Abu Bakr. Then in support are the copies of the ayah written down. Finally in support are those people who have committed the ayah into memory, reciting it, in the style(s) they memorised it in. where are you referencing from? give us so we can verify what u say |
@pilgrim Bo, when it comes to the Bible, the message is clear. It is not the "Book" that God wants us to worship - rather, He invites everyone everywhere to receive His love - freely offered in Jesus Christ!! I am still looking at over 108 English versions (which are merely TRANSLATIONS) of the Bible - and I have not come across any one of them which denies the fact that Jesus' death and resurrection brings us salvation!! The day God touched my heart with His saving grace, I wondered what I had been doing in Islam all my life and denying the very grace that would save me!! i gree wel wel and may God Continually open our eyes and thiers too, @ola did u not read my post?? here it is again dear babs on a serious note, we are not denying that we don't have various versions, translations but we also want u to also accept same that MUSLIMS HAVE VERSIONS, TRANSALTIONS AND EDITIONS. then from there we can continue and we believe since we (including u muslims) have agrreed on that point, then lets continue else u have no bases to accuse the bible as confused etc so stop recycling questions, remember osisi or is it pilgrim showed u that in the koran major differences abound in version of the koran. pls stop babbling and just say in plain words YES WE HAVE VARIOUS VERSIONS, TRANSALTIONS, EDITIONS OF THE KORAN SHIKAANAn else all u requesting for doesnt arise |

@babs haba haba mana, kai sai yenzu ka yarda chai wa al korani ba daiya ba? ( you made me speak in hausa) (haba why all this long turanci (english) u could simple have accepted that the koran has various versions and u will accept the versions of tramslations ) Your claim has no basis here and not even worth responding. I have been using the versions you are using today to nail and you should try giving verses from the translations like Hilal, Picktall etc and not trying to smuggle in that of Khalifa. Now all u out there i therefore deliver a judgement and accepted by all including (olabowale and babs) that we have VARIOUS VERSIONS, TRANSALTIONS, EDITION OF THE KORAN, SO CASE CLOSED that is if they will accept ![]() |
@all kia kaai, una no go kill m wit laf ooooh ![]() i wish dis was a live debate on tv it will be interesting but no they wont allow it else so much burning etc any way thanks seun for bring up this forum and God bless, ![]() |
Quote from: pahtahkee on January 23, 2008, 07:47 PM . . . * an elocutionary delivery of a piece of poetry or prose, without the text, before an audience. So babs, given the definition of recitation above, what exactly is your point? He has no point. The point really is that the Muslim claim that 'Allah' sent down any book to Muhammad is a fraud. There was no such "book" - it was all a recitation that Muhammad dictated as he went along. abeg see breaking down i cant but help smile amusing to myself ![]() Glory to Jesus Christ |
@ olabolae first of all dont try to change the topic, before i start answering, do you accept that there are five versions of KORAN as clearly spelt out for you by osisi and pilgrim? cos what we are disussing here is not about Jesus, God etc dont try to confuse yourself here, we are discussing the 5 VERSIONS OF THE KORAN and we are simply asking you to say yes or no to the presentation. maybe if you open another thread you can bring your discussion up and i think there i will answer you but now , [s]@Luvus: Not so fast, man. But you claim, as a Christian is God, right? So check the below out and tell me if Jesus was the God being refered to here, in the two quotes from the Bible. I still have more, but I am testing your embolden faith right now and before long it would not be so emboldened. Quote Exodus 32:1 (Whole Chapter) [ The Golden Calf ] When the people saw that Moses was so long in coming down from the mountain, they gathered around Aaron and said, "Come, make us gods [ Or a god ; also in verses 23 and 31 ] who will go before us. As for this fellow Moses who brought us up out of Egypt, we don't know what has happened to him." Deuteronomy 9:7 (Whole Chapter) [ The Golden Calf ] Remember this and never forget how you provoked the LORD your God to anger in the desert. From the day you left Egypt until you arrived here, you have been rebellious against the LORD. Where is Jesus here; the Lord or the God, or both or neither? You have your work cut out for ya! Answer, because, ain't got all day; Jesus is not either Lord nor God in both verses! If then you guys then magically brought jesus up later as god or Lord, it must have been unreal and it may just be only in title, but not in subsatnce. Like monopoly money, it looks good, but can spend it. Its even worse than Ijebu money! And for those who are confusing English translation for simple reading, to Qur'an which is PURE ARABIC, you do not know anything about Islam! You are trying to co-mingle Islam with your religion. It just would not work. Qur'an is in PURE Arabic! Yet the Arabs themselves have to learn it, before they can understand it. Unlike your Injiil, which was revealed, am sorry, inspired, in Hebrew or Aramaic, yet none of you have seen a single one of it, in its originally inspired in language! And the most ancient manuscript that you have been carrying around to show that your Injiil is authentic, can only go so far at least 300 years after the inspirational writing, from the many writers, who we even see their personal opinions in your 'Pure Injiil!'[/s] |
welll reading your post has given the idea on how dbnk and p n p r doing. now they have an offer but i dont know whether i will be dat glad any more |

Amin. @pilgrim However, i wish to request further please give us reference to sites that discuss this isue Consult the "miracle of 19" by Rashad Khalifa who dropped TWO verses from his VERSION of the the QUR'AN! hi uspry1 well i got interested in your working at home, so how do you do it i.e working at home cos am working towards that myself? |
@all well i consider myself fulfulled from being single at least for now. Being single has afforded me the opportuinty to "stop, look before leaping" into another rxt. being single has made me to realise that d rxt i was in was outward only (facial beauty, fornication, just to go tasting around) being single saved me some moneies and now i am spending on me, making my fridge rich, bought satelite 4 me, get home to relax and not think of anyone. and being single is helping me to start planning the the next rxt should be entered not by emotions but reasoning and undersanding the other person. being single helps me to ask questions about preparing for the life after marriage. being single helps to understand me rxt to me, God, opp sex etc being single helps me to realize that what i can't stop now being single i can't stop after marriage, so am taking the initiative to stop so many wrong, yes being single atimes makes u want some one but i alsways ask "for what?" just fornication? then not worth it, being single is for me a positive way for now so if u think being single is selfishness, childish, cowardice or what ever, thats upto u but its he who wheres the shoe that knows where it hurts, but note, my singleness is a preparation to move into a conscious relationship which will lead to marriage and not just for fornication. shaloooom!!!!!!!! ![]() |
