There's no hope for Nigeria to get better, the future is very bleak. Life is too short to live in a shithole country like Naija where you can be kidnapped and killed despite paying ransom in millions. If things eventually get better, trust me a lot of people will return home, but right now, leave if you have the money. There's nothing wrong with having citizenship of a developed nation.

Wow, I didn't know there was a verse in Ecclesiastes that explained it so clearly.

Also, a lot of modern philosophical works can be traced to the bible. There was a time (a few years ago) when I was linking modern philosophical and scientific works to passages in the bible, and I linked at least a hundred.

And I lost the file.

I will try to do it again and post it here. The Bible is deeply philosophical and scientific, and if one removes their bias (e.g. being non-religious), they could see lots of material wisdom in its teachings. Lemme list some that I can remember.

1. What redpillers called the 80/20 rule is known scientifically as the Pareto principle, and biblically as the Mattew principle (Matthew 25;29).

2. The Swiss psychiatrist Carl Jung always talks about the shadow, and that every person should recognize, accept, and integrate their dark sides to become whole. So biblically as you wrote, it would be Ecclesiastes 7:16-17.

Before i narrate everything, I would like to say that i swear I'm not a SIMP, I was just trying to be a good husband right from the beginning not knowing it was gonna lead to this.

I'm married with three children and my wife is not working for the past 7 years of our marriage. I'm responsible for everything in the house. I'm not complaining about the too much responsibilities but i really wanna end the marriage due to the following reasons, my wife lacks respect for me as a husband sometimes the way she talks to me as if I'm her boy or her mate. This woman called my wife is also very ungrateful. She never appreciate anything. I can't correct her when she's wrong without her getting angry, most times when i send her to buy something, her mood changes or she starts complaining, i can't tell her to cook what my appetite yearns for without her complaining especially swallow. The only thing this woman does consistently are as follows;

**Please could you stay with the kids i was called that my cousin is sick and they are in the hospital

**Please could you stay with the kids my mum's sister is sick and I want to go greet them

**Please could you stay with the kids we just lost our uncle

**Please could you stay with the kids my father's brother wants to see me

**Please could you stay with the kids, this, that and that.... I'm so angry because it doesn't allow me go out to Hussle. One of the most annoying part is when i have an important place to go, i'll have look for where to drop the kids or go with them? Sometimes you need to see the shame in me due to how people always look at me carrying 3kids up and down everywhere as if i don't have a wife. Even if i want to go and watch ball alot of times i'll have to go with them. She has 5 female elder siblings who are all married, why don't they behave like that to their husbands? Sometimes she'll be sitting or maybe she's doing something and one of the kid tells her he/she wants to poo, she'll tell the child go and meet your father, I'll have to go put the child on potty. The frustration is too much. I really wanna end the marriage. Most times when i report some things to the mother, the mother always looks for a way to cover for her daughter, the mother never sees anything wrong in what her daughter does. Do you know one of the thing she does that has gotten me fed up? I'll be in the middle of a very important work or meeting. This woman will start calling and calling, you will think it's something very important, the next thing she'll start texting me that won't you come home? She wants to go and check on her this or that who is in the hospital. So i should leave something very important which will give me money just to come and stay with the children so you could go visit a family member? This is a place you can go with the children. Please guys how do i go about ending this marriage because she is very violent and i don't want to create a scene because she likes creating scenes.

No need to ask them this question o, let's be patient nah.

Hi fellas, I will go straight to the point. My girlfriend of over a year hardly ever initiates sex, so sex between us strictly depends on when I make a move. Sometimes it might coincide with when she's Hot and everything goes well. Hi Pansophist. I'm doing a little bit of research that will help if I later decide to apply to physically study in Finland. See the info I saw while checking LAB's application process:

During the residence permit process, the Finnish Immigration Service has to make sure that the person applying for a residence permit has sufficient means to live in Finland. For a one-year residence permit, you must have at least € 6,720 available for your use. To receive a positive decision for a one-year residence permit a student has to pay the tuition fee, show funds of € 6,720 for the cost of living (for accommodation, food and other needs) and a health insurance must be valid for at least one year from the date a student arrives in Finland. You must have the required sum for the cost of living in your own bank account.

For how many months before applying should this money be in someone's account.

Few people that I shared this with offline, didn't even follow up, They are so lazy, and cant fight or pay the price for what they want. They are waiting for one miracle to just lift them from Nigeria to Europe, without any work.

Life itself is suffering. Life is not fair and never will, it’s better to accept this truth. Both rich and poor, young and old go through this suffering in varying degrees, no one is exempted. Man’s sufferings starts from birth and will continue till death. Like the OP said, helping others and impacting people positively is the only thing that is meaningful in this life. A life of service like what Jesus Christ and other prophets offered is the only thing that adds some flavor to man’s miserable existence.

Challenging your dad by asking him “where was he when his mates where making money” must have broke his heart. You didn’t appreciate his efforts to give you a quality education then, hope you do now though. I wouldn’t blame you, you were probably too naive to know the realities of life at that young age. Our fathers did their best to give us a good life, but many of us never appreciated them.

I experienced everything at the high school level and it was a painful experience for me.
Went to one of Nigeria’s elite schools in the 90’s.
My parent tried their best to give me the best, took loans from cooperative just to make sure I became a person better than them in life.
It was a 2-edged sword.
In one area, it exposed me to a different life and mentality.
Those rich kids always forming cacus and won’t mingle with we the struggling ones.
Most of us from the poor homes literally had problems with our parents.
You know I once wrote in one of my comments like 2/3 years ago how I do challenge my dad that where was he when his mates were making money? It was the oppression, humiliation we faced at school.
We were just out of place.
Nobody likes you. The teacher doesn’t like you nor recognize you because your parent are not giving him money or gifts.
The hostel warden doesn’t also.
Your colleagues don’t also.
I went to NNPC primary school also at Mosimi.
The rich kids avoided us totally.
At a point, my dad told my mum he regretted taking me to the elite high school because it changed me at home.
And this thing also lingered and affected my relationship with women (the going to the elite school), it made me really struggled with relationships after secondary school.
Right from the time I was transferred from a local JSS school to this elite Senior secondary school, I noticed I was just floating relationship wise.
I was neither here nor there. I was too exposed to date the average ladies from the poor homes that my colleagues from my background were busy dating without any issue( girls from very very poor homes, from illiterate families, children of local market women etc). I couldn’t. I was forming levels why the ladies I like or love were not ready to date me. They were avoiding me. They don’t want to associate with me.
So relationship wise, I was neither here or there. Just floating and frustrated.

Just try to buy enough data. Although I don’t think it consumes so much data like that.

Norway is still free. Finland and Sweden now charge money from non-EU students. The days of free tuition are over, sadly.

Technically, it's not over, but they limit the audience of those who can get it to an extremely small group of non-EU citizens.

So for example, if you are a refugee (eg its free for the Ukrainians), or you moved there to join a family, then it will be free for you. But coming to Finland straight from Naija to study, you will pay.

If you will study, then four million is not enough unfortunately. 4M naira is about 6k euros, it won't pay for your school fees even. You need at least 8-10k euros for that.

I mean, its a huge money, but naira have fallen so badly that when converted to euros, it becomes so small. If you can increase it, then try. It worth working hard for.

Or you go for bachelor degree programs. They are usually cheaper. Lapland university of applied sciences have the cheapest degree program. At about 4k a year, even better if they give you a scholarship.

I can't recommend any course for you. But go to studyinfo. fi, and search for courses that you like, also use the filter botton to search better. But I'll give you a possibility of relocating without spending much.

Lab university of applied sciences just started a four year engineering bachelor program called sustainable solutions engineering. So you study the first 60 credits (out of 240 credits) online, if you perform well, then from the second year, you can study in Finland for free.

The university will assist you to come to Finland, and tuition fee will be free. The country needs people in that field, so they exempt that program from tuition payment.

You won't find the link to the program on their website (I don't know why), but drop your email and I'll send it to you, so you can apply. I got it through their newsletter, since I applied there long time ago when I was like you, trying to japa.
