The mistake on the part of the ECO is easily noted on the refusal letter.

He had already stated that your dependant required about £12k POF
On the last paragraph, he then stated that when your own maintenance of £9207 was deducted from your account that what is left for your dependants to show as POF is £14k which is even about £2k above what is required.

What you need to do is to seek administrative review and they will rectify it with apologies.

Note: As a standard, UK uses OANDA as their reference currency conversion which is currently N568.298/£1

Ohk. I'm applying for a January start and the deadline for application is August 1st. Then it means that I should be expecting a feedback between October and November if I'm going by your "between 2-3 months" interval.

Getting a job is not the problem; getting a job that would qualify for sponsorship and also landing in a company willing to sponsor you, is where the problem lies.

Most people are not planning on what happens after the two years post study work expires.

They don't know you will have to switch to another visa inorder to stay back otherwise you will find your way home.

So I really advice that as you are planning for your studies, you should also plan on your options if you want to stay back. Have a backup plan in place.

I know very well that with the 2 years psw, you can take up any employment, but make sure you take up employment with a company that can sponsor you after the 2 years psw expires.

I have my father as my sponsor and I have been out of corporate work for 3 years now just doing my personal business which isn't registered.

Can I still apply without including my bank statement and only using my Dad's statement since he us my sponsor?
