[quote author=drafrican post=30657607]Wonder what it's with the fine penisis it's just for urination and procreation not like he's gonna be showing his willie off and am sure a lot of daddy's here had theirs done with a bottle n still got African queens as wives ....lol

Ha madam Africa it is more than that o. there are somethings in ur body that u dont show off but whenever u see them, you just bless the Lord for creating them very beautiful. i ve a young cousin that was circumcised 3 times( in naija o). circumcision is a minor surgery bt when u see his thing u ll know that a major surgery had been performed to d extent that his mother felt that witches were following her.

If they keep trimming the thing (flesh) wetin go come remain? b4 them go make mistake come dey trim muscle. just like trimming sugarcane left, right and center, sugarcane no go bend.? I want my sons to be proud of their thing even if they cant show it to d world, girls will see it. (dats for sure)

@ Mabel.....We don't just feel like spending $300 on circumcision in US . Especially since we don't have extra hands to cater for the baby after the operation. Lots of doctors including Hyunn and Baba will do a good job. Just got back home ,baby did it already and he is good.
Thanks tvegas and good to hear that baby is doing great. $300 hmmmmm. the last one i did 6 yrs ago was less than 5k, even right now, it cant be more than 10k. $300 is like 60k Jesu Kristi.

welcome back home. i heard their transportation system go encourage lots of jogging, legging, sitting at home to watch movies and enbraining myself.

[quote author=mrsshen post=30604450]@ Tvegas and any other NairaLander that has used Dr Fagbohun at Oakbend, does the 2,200usd he charges does he have a registration fee?

The quote i got from him is $150 for First office visit, $150 for Ultrasound at first visit for singleton, vaginal delivery is $2400 BUT 20% discount is given if full payment is made by the 2nd office visit. so it could be 20% off $2400 = $1920 +$300= $2220 OR $2400+300) = $2700 with 20% off = $2160.

I cant say which is which for now.

From Tvegas' info: his fees is $2200.

Must I go with marriage certificate i did native law?
Madam if na visa u won apply for then u need go with marriage certificate to show that u re LEGALLY married. They don't care if u don't change ur name bt I think u really need dat cert. All these olori ebis ( family heads) sud come up with certificates that wud be stamped in courts. My advice to those who did native/ traditional wedding is dat they sud endeavour to also go for courts weddings too, u don't need many people to achieve that and it is seriously for ur good.

Shofas:
Hello all,
Please I need help on a question my sister is due to give birth in August and her 2 years visa will expire in September, she has plans to give birth in the USA but with the expiry date on her passport does she have any chances of birthing there, thanks
Well shofas, from the info gathered on this THREAD: it is believed that the officer at the point of entry determines ur eligibility to enter into the united states, and if she is due in august (meaning she sud be in d states b4 then she sud be back by September)

From the EMBASSY'S WEBSITE : While filling our draw box eligibility form last year, i saw some questions like ( did your visa expire while in the US, did u over stay etc) from these questions, i wouldn't know if one will still be qualified for the DHL Drop Box Visa Renewal Programme if the answers to these questions are YES). i mean when she is renewing o.

experts will be able to answer better.

Even on the student thread, we keep answering the same question everyday. if i can not answer the question, i just leave it. Another person will answer it. some people got to this thread through Google search and they are only anxious to get a response and leave. not everyone stay back. my own is if you cant answer, you let the question slide.
You re very right. Whenever I don't feel like answering repeated questions I keep quiet and whe. I feel like answering I do. For me, it takes more energy insulting and repeating same advice of ( go and read) which ll eventually turn to big fight than answering in 2 or 3 lines. Pls we re all adults. Let's move on. Pls mothers

There are all kinds of stupid things that annoy me but what annoys me most is a lazy argument such as this. Why do you want everything to be given to you on a platter? If you wanted that, you should have simply hired a consultant (one of them is presently on dealdey charging 120k) to spoon feed you with whatever info you desire at any given time.

If this thread had so many lazy peeps (like you) that doesn't understand the concept of "work and sacrifice", then you wouldn't even meet anybody here cos there will be so much repetitions with no new info thereby making it difficult for the thread to progress.

Reading through the thread is not easy, yes! But that is just a little sacrifice compared to the wealth of info you will garner at the end of the day.
.

Madam, did u read what she wrote? She said she read or she didn't? Jt forgive them. We sudn' t start this argument again. B4 u know what's up, pple ll response in 6 to 10 pages. Pls we can jt let this pass. Am nt correcting u, I de abeg.

[quote author=Alemo50 post=30400171]Hi. A word of caution for those who plan to use Delaware County Memorial Hospital (DCMH): Expect more bills after paying the full maternity package. My wife delivered there after we had paid the so called self-pay maternity package of $7500 (6000 for delivery, 1500 fro antenatal care). After delivery we received a bill of around $3000 or so for anaesthesia. Then another bill for paediatrician. Today again, another one called physician bill. I don't know when the bills will stop coming: am I to expect nursing bill? JOHESU bill? Etc.

Hi Alemo

Something must be wrong somewhere. Is the maternity package not inclusive of Hospital and physician bills? Maybe they re passing you someone else's bills. You need to check with them to be sure and ask what their maternity package covers. Cos if u keep paying bills like that, there will be no money to buy gifts for us on this thread o and process baby docs.
