I always advice people to send the letter. it wont take more than 5minutes of your time, and this could save you from lots of issues and disappointment later.

[quote author=isysleek post=39734609]Morning house, please those that live in Abuja, which hospital can you recommend for children. Please help

Try Fereprod, Nisa, Diff, federal staff.

If it is an emergency never try National, Garki, Maitama General ( although these hospitals are good too but their protocol, hmmmm)

With heart filled with joy, mouth filled with praises, eyes filled with tears of joy, left hand raised in praises to the Lord God and with the right hand doing shoki dance wave, I announce the birth of the latest member( hopefully the last member but only God can say) of our soccer  team ( team IKT). Now It is official, and well confirmed that  am a mother of all boys and mother to many daughters by choice.

Please, if my baby is born in US, I hope he can become Nigerian president o! I'm gunning to acquire one or two oil wells as the Mother of the Commander in Chief of the armed forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria). Was reading on a gossip site that na $1k de them Obama joint account. After 6yrs of being POTUS and all the premature grey hair! shocked

See how GEJ is retiring to Otuoke in grand style and nothing less than billions of $$$ .

Seriously, it is worth considering. I want to be the mother of a Nigerian president.

As per the blood stuff , it is like they are saving blood for America or d world sef with Africans' blood. The blood they re taking from us is too much. Enough to open a blood bank

At counter 21.

Me: hello
Officer: why re u here.
Me: to have my baby
Officer: why US. Told her abt my ectopic pregnancy bla bla bla.
She asked how much I have on me, told her 9411 cash, my card and some other coins that I don't know how to even count ( pounds. Dollars, euros etc) so she said ok. She asked for my medical report, Dr correspondence, and if I was going to bronx, I was confused abt bronx cos I didn't mention it on my landed card bt told her that I ve people there and ll be staying with them for2 days. She asked for d address and abt my children and their country of birth. Gold her everything. When asked for my Houston ticket. All these took like 3 min. And she said ok ok. Bye. I went to get my bags and went to agriculture, gave d guy my landing card, he asked what I ve there, told him cassava flakes. Wheat. Groundnut, crayfish, kulikuli, indomie, pepper, panla, Maggi etc. He jt said ok. And that was it.
Thanks to everyone. U all made this easy. God bless you. Awaiting d arrival of my baby and missing the men in my life.

Hello,
So in the spirit of giving back, I left naija with BA 10th may ( naija date), had a stop over in London for 1 hour 30 mins. And had to run thru out cos of queue at d international connection area, then to customs.

The flight from London to NY was delayed for abt 30mins. Got to NY at abt 7.15 instead of 6.45pm (us time), and had to wait for hoursssssss at immigration. We were told many immigration officers called in sick. Only 4 officers attended to non citizens, we were jt there, and their air conditions were nt work so they kept bringing water for everyone and telling us that they wud get us Fan bt d fan never came until I got to d front front.

Even some wey get relatives sef still opted to stay by themselves in a different state. Mostly cos of hospital cost.
.

Even me wey get, i don respect myself go look for accommodation. 2 months no be beans, b4 u ll be indebted to someone for life. and when you are ready to travel back to nigeria and your host gives you like 2 suitcases of load to carry, you wont want to say No.

And to all my Telemundo colleagues, I see yah.

Pls house, after thinking for months, i have decided to go with BA. I cant do that Emirates journey of Life in my condition. So i bought one way BA ticket to NY and call wakanow to open the first leg of my journey (Abuja to NY with emirates), they asked me to send a message to abuja@wakanow.com which i did, they replied immediately saying it is not possible that i have to use the first leg and open the other one.I sent another mail asking for refund but they have refused to reply o. Pls what do i do now.

Tvegas baba Good morning.

Really i dont know ooo. Mine is more like a curse than an addiction. i rush home from work to watch it every evening, and repeat same episode in the morning and afternoon(days that am nt at work) and still watch them saturdays and sundays ( same episodes o). I had to put a TV in my kitchen cos of telemundo. My husband and sons sef wont want to disturb me when am watching my telemundo.

[quote author=bachangel post=33368930]Hello everyone! Congrats to all the Mums to be.. Been following this blog for a while now. I have been married for about a year now and we are expecting our 1st child.

Hi bachangel.

If u re spending a quarter of ur savings I think it is nt bad. In another 5-7 yrs u wud ve saved like 2m if nt more for making ur child a US citizen. For example, jt less than 2 wks ago, we paid 237k for each of my sons for their 10yrs UK visa, so think of paying for so many visa fees( imagine how many countries a US citizen could enter without visa), apart from that what abt the stress of obtaining these visas, d time and other privileges.

As for ur husband's job, although u can't really say when ur child could come but what u can do is to work out ur trip to have same return date with your husband. Dats what I did. My hubby too can't stay for more than three wks so ur hubby's can come 3 wks b4 ur departure date and u can then move out to get a private apartment once he lands.

Concerning, ur leave days too, if u wish to stay at home more with ur baby, u can apply for leave without pay or u submit an excuse duty certificate in ur office for more bonding time with ur child Dats only if that wud be allowed in ur place of work.

The most difficult part is going on this trip without my boys cos they ll be in sch and we can't travel together this time.

Just think abt it. U ll be glad u did. The 4m won't be a waste.

[quote author=slanliz007 post=33123596]Hello everyone, please is there anyone who has actually used south west airlines from New York LGA to Houston? Please what was your experience like; is it advisable or not for a pregnant mum? I am trying to make a booking and I am seeing that arrival into Houston is through Hobby airport instead of IAH. Please I want to know if this also ok.

Hello slanliz007,

Well I don't know if it is ok bt it can't be dat bad sha, and I think HOU is the only stop in Houston if u using southwest . I booked mine last wk for 113 dollar, the early you book, the cheaper. Best of luck
