If kanu has a us passport as u said ...there would not be any need for honorary citizenship because he would already be a citizen of the us. Unless u re asking if has a us visa. That would make more sense. Also, Do you know if honorary citizenship can be awarded in absentia?

For the record...I don't believe everything I read here. I'm saying ur comment earlier didn't make much sense. For you to have a passport of any country, you must be a citizen. Honorary citizenship is usually to foreigners who do not reside or have a passport of the country awarding it.

Why people don't resign their appointments is that the fear of unknown. They may japa and things turn sour, if there expectations about abroad is not met, they can come back to continue their jobs. But about 75% of japanian don't come back.

Nigerians should start to do right thing if they want to progress. People must resign their appointments if they have INTENTION OF living the COUNTRY. Life's about risk and not about eating one's cake and still expecting.

In 2019 election, Buhari scored 15 million plus votes. Atiku scored 11 million plus votes.
Buhari was an overwhelming popular candidate at least in the North, yet Atiku stood firmly.
If APC makes the mistake of giving Tinubu its ticket and Atiku secures PDP ticket, no rigging will save Tinubu from loosing the election.
Reasons:
1.The economy has grown worse than it was in 2019 and many voters will want to try PDP. At least Nigerians now remember how PDP managed the economy compared to these jokers in power today.
2. If it boils to two old men, Atiku is healthier and stronger than Tinubu as it is obvious Atiku manages his health better. Occasionally he shares pictures of himself working out and exercising in his gym. The videos of Tinubu falling here and there will not help his campaign as it is obvious that he is tired due to age. Health status and age will be serious factor in the next election.
3. Northern politics will also come to play against Tinubu. Buhari for the first time since 2003 will not be on the ballot. Buhari also cannot transfer his followership (which has actually dwindled significantly due to low performance) to Tinubu. If Tinubu thinks that North will abandon Atiku and vote for him, he needs to wake up. North will do anything to retain power even if it means them defecting to PDP to support their own. After all, Buhari's tenure is over. The PDP game plan which South East and South South is in the buy is to give Atiku the ticket and give the VP slot to South East as compensation for supporting PDP for long while waiting for Atiku to finish his tenure. South South will reciprocate South East support for Jonathan.

4. Tinubu does not have base in the South except his South West. South South and South East are definitely not voting Tinubu, its personal( remember how Tinubu united against them in 2015 to defeat Jonathan,)
The implication is simple, whereas Atiku will win his North East and snatch many middle Belt,/ North Central who have issues to deal with how APC government was openly biased in favour of killer herdsmen invading Middle Belt region.
