Andking:please are you saying that you can't get into recovery or you flashed it and it flashed but didn't work? Please spec the issue |
OK, if you are ready to take the risk of rooting your tecno Camon C8, download this file from this link... It's a zip file containing super SU for all MediaTek 67***chip https://mega.nz/#!cx4xmT7a!OOv35GA0x8TLq2lPi0h4yu4RsMt4q_HGYgaQOCEVFvo Note that you have to install the mega nz app before the file will be downloaded to your phone automatically... After downloading, save the file to the root folder of your SD card, Power off the device and turn it on keeping VOL+ and Power until you see some tiny text.(basically, booting into recovery) Select the first option (Recovery mode), use VOL+ to navigate and VOL- to confirm. Once booted to stock recovery select "apply update from sdcard" using VOL+/- to navigate and POWER to confirm, and select the zip file you copied to the MicroSD. After the flash has completed you will be back to recovery's main screen and just select "reboot system now". PS: this zip file should work with any MT67** device running a stock Mediatek recovery PPS: DO NOT apply any incremental ota update after flashing the root zip, flash ONLY flash tool roms when and if they will be available BTW To get to recovery, after pressing volume button and power button together.......... When it shows the no command screen, all you have to do is to press the power button once.. (note, DON'T press down the power button for long, just press it once and release it fast) immediately you press and release the power button ONLY, it will display the recovery options.. From there you can then proceed to choose the zip file following the procedure i posted above.....Also note that you might need the volume button instead of the power button, to okay any selection you make when in recovery mode.... I believe this guide should help... Cheers........ |

I can assist you with rooting it but as usual, I will not be responsible if you brick your device . if you don't mind going ahead with it, drop your email address let me send you the rooting file and procedures. You can either decide to thank me later if it works or insult me if it doesn't. .. |
macbeyland:let's review these pics and make judgement |
Elcapo:impressive battery statistics I must say |
The next sets of pix were outdoor pix taken by both phones.. Credits to Kelvin Ogwu once again.... Over to you house.. Make your judgement
|
The same objects were not taken in the same room in bright conditions but without the flash of both camera phones.. Credits to Kelvin Ogwu
|
These are pick taken by the tecno Camon C8 and infinix zero 2 in a DARK room with both phones using their flash ... All credits to Kelvin Ogwu... Please. Make your judgement, especially those who are photography experts.
