Genesis Chapter 1, verse 27 |
ChikezieU:Unfortunately most people dont have a solid understanding of the Bible. The book has been corrupted over time but there is still alot of knowledge that can be derived from it - IF YOU THINK WITH YOUR BRAIN. If you read the first few chapters of genesis carefully you will eventually see that 'God' created man and woman at the same time. Later on the 'Son's of god' created Adam and then Eve and placed them in the garden of Eden. The rest is history. . . . . . . |
I think its will b more correct to say dt there existed civilization(s) in d current Niger-Benue-River Cross region and inbetween dt predates Adam emergence by very long time wt visible evidences. D Ikom paintings and monoliths r some of d irrefutable evidences. Also r several other homo erectus age crude implements excavated around Udi and Nsukka region. Mentionable is also an ancient pyramid dt existed in Udi but ws destroyed by early christian missionaries directive. I think ds civilization predates Igbo-ukwu civilozation very much too So many others valid evidences exist to show dt d region is long inhabited. I'm not sure of wc is more ancient; Nok civilization, "Ani-Igbo" region civilization or Lake chad basin civilization. |
http://migrationstoriesofnigerianigbo./2010/03/14/theories-of-ndi-igbo-origins-part-ii-the-ancients-introduction/ I'm not a conspiratory theorist, but this case is really perplexing. If Igbo were before Adam, does it mean they are from God's loins ? If yes, does that mean Igbos are the true guardians of heaven? So Jesus Is most likely of igboid blood lineage then? |
I think its more factual to say Jews are igboloid group than igbo are jews as Igbos existed before Adam- father of the jews. They Lived Before Adam Prehistoric Origins of the Igbo The Never-Been-Ruled, in a culmination of 18 years of research into Igbo origins and the origins of other Kwa peoples. Kwa languages belong to the Niger-Congo family and are spoken by over 20 million people in such places as Nigeria, Ghana, and Benin. In her book, she traces the “origin of the Igbo people of Nigeria to the earliest days of Homo Erectus Africans.” Very early on in the book she examines the meaning of “ndi Igbo.” She states, “Ndi-Igbo simply means, “the Ancients, the First People, the Aboriginals (Ndi Gbo).” The Igbo civilization in Nigeria is one that synthesized over the years from the original Negro hunter-gatherer autochthons (otherwise called Homo Erectus) scattered over various parts of the continent of Africa prior to and beyond 500,000 years ago from where they spread across the globe in the first phases of the ‘Out of Africa’ migrations. In West Africa these hunter gatherers were called Igbo by the earliest migrants who met them in situ on arrival in the Niger-Benue confluence area. In other parts of Africa they went by various names such as Bushmen, San or Shan, Twa and Pygmies. It was these little people, known in Southern Africa as San or Shan, in China as Shan (creators of the Shan Dynasty of God-men) and in Igbo land as Eshi/Nshi or Nwa Nshi, who until recently were still seen in southeastern Nigeria nurturing the cultural life-wire of the Igbo, that had birthed the original Igbo forest culture hundreds of millennia before the North-South migrations that were later to bring about the relatively new Pan-Igbo identity anchored around the Nri hegemony” (Acholonu-Olumba, 2009, p. 2) Whether one agrees with many of her assertions, it is quite apparent she is well-researched. The book can no doubt spark interesting conversations among those interested in the African origins of humankind. I find this research promising, and the idea of the Igbo being an ancient people, who have influenced a number of other cultures and religions, to be my position. http://migrationstoriesofnigerianigbo./2010/03/14/theories-of-ndi-igbo-origins-part-ii-the-ancients-introduction/ |

He declared, ‘’there is nothing wrong with Nigeria as whole. What is wrong with us is the total lack of mercy in our activities.the problem with Boro, was he wanted a nigerdelta state such that the ijaw would be majority in the new state, however the dozens of other tribes, ogoni, Ndoki, opobo, etc, would rather have the status quo than have the ijaw dominate them. Such is life, majority would always carry the vote. Imagine if Boro had successfully won his Nigerdelta thru military means only for the next Military uprising, by say the Ogonis , citing same earlier reasons Boro had given, and demand for their own state. The only way to overcome these irritating tribal sentiments would be to empower the local governments, who are right there at the grassroots, to be responsible for providing all the essence of civility |
superstar1:This Ibaka seaport has the potential to single-handedly cripple lagos , and turn it into a Detroit of Ghost town and filth. |
tobtap:all these ports are shallow ports. |
kettykings:Nahh... we are not at war with Yorubas, at the end of the day we are still one Nigeria, would you rather service charge is paid to the Cameroonian government than our own government ? Yorubas no doubt are reaping immensely from the one port |

A high-wired plot to obstruct the actualisation of the Ibaka Deep Seaport project within the deep waters of Akwa Ibom State, by some highly placed persons working in tandem with some officials of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) has been uncovered. Daily Sun checks revealed that the plot is being hatched by some opposition (APC) governors and some highly placed Nigerians to obtain an ‘obnoxious letter’ from the NPA with a view to presenting the seaport project as not viable. The plot, investigations revealed, was designed to ensure that the Ibaka Deep Seaport Initiative does not see the light of day, thereby paving way for development of new seaports in other parts of the country. It was gathered that the conspiracy against Akwa Ibom State seeks to discredit the seaport project under a ‘non-viability cover’, despite the fact that the Federal Government had set up an implementation committee to facilitate preparatory works and captured the project in the 2014 budget, having been convinced that the port would boost the nation’s economy and that of the West African sub-region. The Akwa Ibom State Government in collaboration with the NPA is planning to develop a Deep Sea Port within the Ibom Industrial Free Trade Zone to facilitate economic development of the South Eastern part of Nigeria and the Gulf of Guinea. Checks by Daily Sun further revealed that in December 2012, the government had engaged international consultants to assist NPA in the execution of preliminary technical, bankability and feasibility studies which found the project viable and bankable with proven economic development capabilities within the region. Sources revealed that the choice of Ibaka for the proposed seaport dated back to 1952 by the British government, and a feasibility study to that effect submitted to the British Crown even before the shallow and inland water ports at Calabar and Port Harcourt were established. Maritime analysts posited that Ibaka is the most viable location for the seaport, going by the deep sea draught of 16m, which would need no dredging as well as the strategic proximity of the proposed port to the corridors of the main Gulf of Guinea and the commercial cities of Aba and Onitsha, noting its nearness to Exxon Mobil and other major oil concerns as well as the Sao Tome and Principe is a great advantage to the nation’s economic drive.’’ An investment expert advised those plotting the failure to look elsewhere, saying no right thinking government would allow such a huge economic opportunity to be sacrificed on the alter of blind politics against principles of justice and fairness particularly for a state that was the highest crude oil producer and biggest contributor to national wealth. He said it would be counter-productive to the ongoing Transformation Agenda of President Goodluck Jonathan and a great disservice to both the South-South and West Africa’s hope for economic renaissance. On the commitment of Akwa Ibom State Government to ensure that the project was a reality, officials of the government said the Akpabio administration had done all necessary preparatory works and that the state had made a huge financial commitment to its realisation, which included and acquisition of 14,400 hectares of land, appointment of transaction advisors as well as the setting up of an implementation committee to help drive the initiative. State officials said the state governor’s readiness in supporting the Federal Government and other investors to actualise the dream was unshaken. http://sunnewsonline.com/new/?p=63711 |
From your plan, this estate will have no nursery, no park, no kiddies play area. No Main boulevard ? A Mall right next to residential house ? |
spyder i think you are making a silly mistake with this approach. you cant sell an estate without a plan. Render. and estate plan. This is just going to become another typical Nigerian Estate , this time without a government to tar the roads. . You have very enthusiastic followers and willing customers, while don't you provide us with a credible implementation plan. The Estate roads: who is going to foot the cost to build the road, to whatever degree, that is drive-able ? The main Estate boulevard would there be a walkway ? if you sell the plots now, when the need for the befitting boulevard you would then need to chop into someones land. Spyder, this is your initiative, take the risk of putting out upfront money, to develop a proper plan, you could seek early investors, who would contribute to the Estate plan, they would in-turn get some of the profit from the land sale. i will be more than willing to become an early investor. Spyder this is really a beautiful idea, please don't mess it up. lets get this right from the start, don't use peoples investment as a learning tool. |
