Hi Customer service,

I wish to report multiple debiting of same transaction on my account.
I registered at the Gym - Iron bar fitness on the 8th of June, 2017.
During the registration, I made two un-successive attempts to make the registration payment of N18,000 with my bank card before having to do a successful bank transfer.

A few days ago I checked my bank statement only to find out the two supposedly failed transaction were registered on my account.
I have taken a print out of my bank statement to the gym, and the gym manager checked his account and confirmed they only received one payment.; the bank transfer.

so I now have N36,000.00 erroneously debited to my account.

Deluded Yorubas on it again. Tomorrow Nupe, or who ever are indigenes of abuja area will beat their chest and announce that Abuja was built with Abuja money. we dont need industrious igbos. land developers.

They will ask what was the revenue when it was Federal capital - (if the Capital was moved) ? forgetting the massive infrastructure laydown by FG.

They will say Abuja is blessed, its location in the heart, Igbos are simply jealous.

Abuja was built with tin money. money made from tin extraction by our very midbelt awoloowoe.

why is ibadan not like lagos ?
ibadan is the traditional capital of the yorubas and western Nigeria?

This is getting comical. Lagos is what it is today because of its position as a formal Federal capital terroritory. All the embassies were soley located in lagos.
(dont tell me its the embassies choice, FG decides where an embassy can station)

It had the only Functional Airport Federal airport in Nigeria for a long time before Abuja came on. Kano and the other are 2nd tier airports.

Every Nigeria needing to travel had to visit Lagos first to get a visa. most times would have to wait for 3 weeks to get a response. Many a times, people stay in lagos to wait out the process.
Hereby spending money in lagos
. spend money on hotels
. Money spent on food , shopping.

same as well, when getting into the country. Lagos became a sort of Mecca. Its inevitable . you must come to Lagos if you have to get into Nigeria.

Banks.

Federal policy of having the central bank in Lagos
Bank tend to HQ where the bank of the country is.
hence the rise of Marina. Every bank head quarter is in Lagos.
Banks corporate taxes are recorded as Lagos's depite their operation being across the country.
take example of unity bank- a northern focus bank, with its operation mainly in the north, its revenues are mostly from the north, yet their corporate taxes are paid in lagos.

Seaport: will come to this later.

Oil and gas companies.: Majority of lagos taxes are generated from oil company and banks corporate taxes.

Oil companies despite their operations being in the Niger delta record their massive corporate taxes as Lagos's.

Markets- why, This trade despite dominated by Igbos are still majority based in Lagos ?

This is effect of the seaport.

I will expand on this later when i have time.
to be continued.

Companies: over 75% of Igbo owned companies are based in Lagos. Taxes are recorded as Lagos's , yet one afonja person will announce it was our awoloowors that builts these companies.

Foreign trade/investment: will come to this too.

Now for you who may not understand why Igbos tried to leave the union, listen to parliamentarians.... Law makers in 1964 and tell me if it is your tribe you will not be like Ojukwu. Why would you want to be in a country where people treat you like this? Read for yourselves.
"Northern House Of Assembly Proceedings, February-March 1964
Below is an extract from the proceedings of the Northern Region House of Assembly between February and March 1964, less than four years after Nigeria’s independence from the British. I have nothing to add.

Read and judge for yourself:
Mallam Muhammadu Mustapha Mande Gyan:
On the allocation of plots to Ibos or allocation of stalls, I would like to advise the Minister that these people know how to make money, and we do not know the way and manner of getting about this business. We do not want Ibos to be allocated with plots. I do not want them to be given plots...

Mallam Bashari Umaru:
I would like (you), as a Minister of Land and Survey, to revoke forthwith all Certificates of Occupancy from the hands of the Ibos resident in the Region... (Applause).

Mr. A. A. Agogede:
I’m very glad that we are in a Moslem country, and the government of Northern Nigeria allowed some few Christians in the region to enjoy themselves according to the belief of their religion, but building of hotels should be taken away from the Igbos, and even if we find some Christians who are interested in building hotels and do not have money to do so, the government should aid them, instead of allowing Ibos to continue with their hotels.

Dr. Iya Abubakar (Special Member, Lecturer, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria):
I am one of the strong believers in Nigerian unity, and I have hoped for our having a united Nigeria, but certainly if the present state of affairs continues, I hope the government will investigate first the desirability and secondly the possibility of extending Northernisation policy to the petty traders. (Applause).

Mallam Mukhtar Bello:
I would like to say something very important, that the Minister should take my appeal to the Federal Government about the Igbos in the post office. I wish the numbers of these Igbos be reduced…. There are too many of them in the North. They are like sardines and 1 think they are just too dangerous to the Region.

Mallam Ibrahim Musa:
Mr. Chairman, Sir. Well first and foremost, what I have to say before this Hon. House is that we should send a delegation to meet our Hon. Premier to move a motion in this very Budget Session that all the Ibos working in the Civil Service of Northern Nigeria, including the native authorities, whether they are contractors or not, should be repatriated at once...

Mallam Bashari Umaru:
There should be no contracts either from the government, native authorities, or private enterprises given to Ibo contractors (Government Bench: Good talk and shouts of “Fire the Southerners”). Again, Mr. Chairman, the foreign firms too should be given time limit to replace all Ibo in their firms by some other people.

The Premier (Alhaji the Hon. Sir Ahmadu Bello, K.B.E., Sardauna of Sokoto):
It is my most earnest desire that every post in the region, however small it is, be filled by a Northerner (Applause)

Alhaji Usman Liman:
What brought the Ibos into this region? They were here since the colonial days. Had it not been for the colonial rule, there would hardly have been any Ibo in this region. Now that there is no colonial rule, the Ibos should go back to their region. There should be no hesitation about the matter.
Mr. Chairman, North is for Northerners, East for Easterners, West for Westerners, and the Federation is for us all. (Applause)

The Minister of Land and Survey (Alhaji the Hon. Ibrahim Musa Cashash, O.B.E.):
Mr. Chairman. Sir, I do not like to take up much of the time of this House in making explanations, but I would like to assure members that having heard their demands about Ibos holding land in Northern Nigeria, my ministry will do all it can to see that the demands of members are met. How to do this, when to do it, al1 these should not be disclosed. In due course, you will all see what will happen. (Applause).

Nigeria!!! There is no better reason to leave Nigeria than Nigeria itself. if you hate to see African suffer because of poverty, do what Europeans have done. You simply cannot have Germans, British, French, Italians, Dutch, Spaniards, etc in one country and expect harmony. Nigerians in their culpable idiocy tend to shout about unity or united in Nigeria. Sometimes I wonder if the Nigerians were talking about united as in amalgamation or unity in terms of harmony. In any case, the lip services are all for it because Nigeria has institutionalized discriminations in the forms of quota system and the so-called federal character.

This is gone beyond the idiotic issue of marginalization, which is true, however it is now a matter of progressiveness, culture and tradition interwoven in a philosophical stream of thought. I have been around many developed countries and come to undeniable conclusion that Nigeria cannot progress as presently configured. If you want to stay with Nigeria, I have no business to stop you as you do not have any business to stop me while heading toward Republic of Igbo land or Biafra.
Hopefully when we have an igbo president he could show the rest of the countr what proper development.

Lol! You would be surprised that the rest of Nigeria don't see things from your angle.

I doubt you have been sampling opinions of Nigerians on this matter.

As long as Nigerians are concerned, no harm was done to Igbos in Biafra, we deserved the civilian massacre since Nzeogwu and Ifeajuna are Igbos who killed non Igbo regional leaders. Igbos are simply being emotional by talking about Biafra, infact, Igbos are the cause of Nigeria problems today, since it was dead Ironsi that forced Gowon to uphold and entrench the unitary system and dissolution of the regional structures to create dysfunctional states.
Igbos should apologize to Nigerians and stop screaming for restructure, they are the ones who killed Nigeria and must continue to be punished as payment for their sins. grin

Igbos must not be president of Nigeria, they are not Nigerians, they are Biafrans, they are greedy, slimy and wicked, they want to create an environment that would enable them dominate the whole Nigeria, that's what this their Biafra and restructure shout is all about.

You would be surprised that even the most educated Nigerians share in the above sentiment.

Ndiigbo had simply reached an impasse with Nigerians as far as Nationhood is concerned, only an Igbo driven by selfish interests would not admit this. Unity with Arewa-Oduanistanis is at this stage, no longer an option for Ndiigbo.
Thats not always the case

I shall make bold to speak unequivocally that Republic of Igbo land or Biafra has to actualized through peace or war. I had prefer peace over war but most Nigeria are not smarter than domesticated monkey hence war is a valid option. I want Ndigbo to have nation they can call home in my life time.

However from your statement in red, you do not seem to be trusted agent. There is no better way to carry out a revolution.
Can you answer this question, why do you want a separate country for Igbos?

whatever reason you give, if those reasons can be accommodated in Nigeria, why still want a Biafra?

Many people simply want a Biafra to see the Hausas and others regress and become poorer and to gloat at the paradise Biafra has become.

I hate to see Africans- be it Hausa, ugandan, south-sudan suffer in poverty, i think the country should simply let an Igbo man rule this country for 8 years, he will unbound many of the shackles why this country is a mess, why Igbos feel marginalized and underproductive.

Quell this biafra agitation once and for all.

I sincerely believe we can still attain whatever biafra could have become, while still in Nigeria.

There is strength in numbers.

Look at Isreal, despite how industrious they are, technology savvy and all, they will forever be a small voice, mostly because of population.

Our combine population is a big strength.
Our combined Land mass is a big strength.
Our diversity is a big strength.

Biafra Mustnt happen!!!, the country can take steps to redress some of the issues of biafra.
rename bright of bonny bright of Biafra.

Commemorate the 1million Biafra babies killed - They are innocent and didnt deserve to died.

Move to state of residence. State of origin fuels this agitation.

Introduce zonal rotational presidency, everybody know they will have a turn someday, unlike this current system that fuels hopelessness to some people because of the perceive electroral population of some zones.

Divide resources into 6 equal parts and share to zones. if your zone has 7 states or whatever number you want to create ,that will be your business. ( will put a stop to silly state aggitation)

Nationalise ALL OIL wells. LAKiJA owning a massive oil reservior to herself kills me everyday.

Mandate oil companies to move to state of operations.

Permit states to build and licence seaports, power generation, industries, state police, solid mineral .

FG will only coordinate education, supreme court, foreign affairs, military.

Let me expose your illiteracy for the world to see

Answer these questions

1) Do states have the power to build airports, seaports, etc for international purpose IMO state build their airport- Now its an international Cargo airport.

2) Do states have the power to exploit and retain at least 50% resources for their development: Ogun state selling bitumen and Kogi selling lime stone to dangote cement, Kebbi mining Gold, Jos - Tin - Federal government dont get 50%.

3) Do states have the power to set up their own police force to checkmate Fulani herdsmen terrorism. Most of Igbo land had Bakassi at some point. Most villages still maintain some form of vigilantee

4) Do states have the power to generate electricity solely for their indigenes without sending it to the National Grind.

No- but setting up one like coal fired would first give mass employment to miners and then generate money from FG buying it. and that could be a leverage to negotiate other benefits

5) Do states have the power to alter their own educational system to meet up to modern realities,

No, but nothing stops states introducing addition lectures outside the regular curriculum. Moral lessons etc. Catholic schools do have some special religious "time" for rosary , for something dey pray by 12 noon etc.
During Lent they spend 1 hour doing "follow follow christ suffering" ( forgotten the name)

Just answer these 5 questions first.
Election is still the clearest way to advance the cause,
Gain executive power to effect seccesionist agendas
Gain state apparatus and machineries - like state broadcasting structures.
Coordinate investment to improve the economy of the region
Cordinate the unity projects.
and most important gain a clear mandate of the people

Nnamdi Kanu has no mandate.. he is only a director of an illegal radio station, thats why many Igbos and many people in South south still dont regard him- undoubtedly his message resonates with many- probably majority.
He needs to now win a clear mandate.

Scotland

within two paliament elections or so, they became majority with their alliance- the Greens.

SNP- on winning majority of their paliament- set off building institutions of a country.
. Integrated their dying , forgotten local language Gaelic into school curruculum.
. Set up Special schools to tutor it and provided students with generous bursary to study it.
. Set up newspapers- couldnt set up a media house as the juridiction was with the national governement-( that contributed to why they lost the referendum, not having a TV station to cover SNP rally and provide positive spin to their message)
. Set up distinctive Scotland business forum to coordinate and secure special treatment for scottish businesses- Now only brandy made in scottand can bear Scotch drink. ( England never cared about that till SNP got in power)
. SNP being in power was able to advocate Scotishness.
won a landmark ruling to differentiate Scottish inventions from England- England previously claimed scottish inventions as English.
. SNP was able to carry out strategic construction programs for future statehood. Railway lines to connect Scotland. dualise scottish roads . ( The UK motor is 3 lanes on each side from down south of England till Scotland where it turns to dual -2 lanes. , further up, it becomes a single lane to Inverness.
. Built and supported building of seaports and harbours.
. Now on the verge of removing airport taxes so more planes can visit scotland- improving connectivity.

Spain-
Catalonias could not have been gotten where they are today without winning a mandate through the electorate- They have built up the structures for a separate state while still in Spain.
Built up their economy.
Integrated Catalonia education
Preserved their history and importantly defined it.
They have demostrated to their people that on separation they will be successful.
There is very few doubts they will be successful.

Now compare to Basque
Basque chose the route of IPOB
The went with demostrations,

.Spain ignored them. - investors got scared away- the economy tanked.
.Out of frustration they started bombing government structures to send a message. were merely structural ( would inform the media that a certain building will be bombed- ensuring people are warned and stayed away)
.After wasting over 2 decades, they then received sense, disbanded their arm and bombing campaign and decided to go into elections.
.Those 2 decades in fact gave them bad reputations. They were labelled as miscreants and soon their own people began to turned against them.

PRICE OF Venezuelan legislative elections BOYCOTT

Venezuelan legislative elections of 2005. President Hugo Chávez took office in 1999, and in 2002 was overthrown briefly, then returned to power. The country was deeply polarized, and the opposition bickered with the government about the fairness of the electoral process. Just a few days before the election, a majority of opposition parties BOYCOTTed it.

The result was that Chavista parties won an overwhelming majority of seats, and so for the next five years Chávez passed virtually anything he wanted. Since constitutional reform requires a two-thirds vote, the boycott also eventually helped pave the way for Chávez to remove term limits.

The traditional parties that spearheaded the boycotting debacle, such as Democratic Action and COPEI , saw their political fortunes continue on their steep downward trajectory

The price of Kuwait's election boycott

http://www.dw.com/en/the-price-of-kuwaits-election-boycott/a-16423752

I will summarise it

Ibtihal al-Khatib's boycott of Saturday's (01.12.2012) election in Kuwait almost caused her to lose people who are dear to her, friends and family members who could not understand why she didn't want to vote.
"It broke my heart, but my conviction simply was stronger," the professor for English literature told DW. Her conviction was that she had to do something against the "totalitarian decision of the government."

Last election , opposition won 50 mandates before paliament was dissolved Just last February, the opposition won a majority of 50 mandates.

The emir then called for a new election, but the opposition called for a boycott which led to violent protests in October.
The majority of Kuwaitis joined the boycott. Election turnout was only 39 percent, much lower compared to the usual 60 percent

"The election created a new political class," said Coates Ulrichsen. The clear winners were parliamentarians close to the government line, among them many Shiites who won 17 out of 50 seats. Only four seats went to Sunni Islamists; in the February election, they received 23.

And even boycotting their upcoming census exercise. Every type of civil disobedience will help in breaking the stranglehold of the Nigeria system.
Please dont suggest this nonsense. Take a leaf from Arab democracy struggles.

Boycotts and civil disobedience don't work for Autocrates.

Unless the civil disobedience is in Lagos or Abuja, maybe port harcourt at a stretch -as long as it can disrupt oil operations

Are trying to say that election boycott throughout the southeast and some extent the south south won't affect the country? You need to think again.
Maybe you can enlighten me, how will it affect Nigeria?

Four years into independence, three years before civil war, see how Nigeria was treating IGBOS

(Applause).
