Look the embassies in Lagos and Abuja up, email them and they will reply. I'd rather not rely on what I heard. Let them officially tell u.
Please I heard they're not working presently, dont know how true it is. Do you have idea if they've resumed operations back

Good evening everyone, I applied for uk transit visa and paid for priority, biometrics was on Friday and I got a refusal mail today. No major reason for the refusal. I'll be going to Grenada and just need to pass through uk. Applied for direct airside transit visa though I'm thinking probably I applied for the wrong visa or what does anyone think happened

They must have given some reason(s). In my experience, they frown at DAT visa applications that involve an overnight stay. You can try applying for a Dutch Schengen Transit visa to come through Amsterdam and Barbados.

No food on the table, no money for hand, no jobs for the common man, no hope for the university undergraduate. Of course people will take anything to forget their realities and live in alternate ones. With the added value of not going hungry sef. Mkpulu mmili is not going anywhere anytime soon. Government should focus on good governance and not this drama. Keep the youth busy and occupied in productive ways, drug use will reduce.

I believe non nationals can get visa on arrival, after receiving authorization from immigration. But please contact people in Naija immigration to get specific details.
Travel / Extortion By Corrupt And Uninformed Immigration Officers At Lagos Airport. by Mackelson: 3:23pm On Jul 25, 2021
I have friends headed to the Caribbean through Lagos. Their experiences at the hands of Immigration officers have been bitter. First they say they don't know the country you are traveling to and nobody makes an effort to even Google the place and see the visa requirements for Nigerians. Next they say they won't let you pass because you don't have the visa to the place. They will not listen when you try to explain that Nigerians need an Entry Clearance (which you have) and will go on to obtain a Visa on Arrival. 2 people were asked for 100 USD which they paid before being allowed to board. One person missed their flight. It is really painful that no one wants to even take a look at your documents before determining your eligibility to travel. And these same officers will blame the leaders and their superiors for being corrupt. This country sha na just yeye vibes.

Well, I've never used Royal Air Maroc so can't say anything about their services but I know they fly to Lagos and also to London and Manchester, so they should be an option. Have u tried Virgin Atlantic?
Travel / Re: What Is It Requirement For A Visa Free Country Like Barbados by Mackelson: 12:35am On Jun 11, 2021
If u got a job that pays and that allows u work remotely, and u earn more than 50k USD yearly, u can apply to get visa to live in Barbados and work from there. Apart from that I won't advise anyone to migrate there. Everything is expensive, jobs are hard to get for foreigners, except u have ur own gig. Best to go there for holidays and leave when ur done.
Bread na like 8h-1k, 1kg Beef na like 4k, Rent like 200k per month for cheap areas.

Transit visas allow you pass through a country's airport to catch another flight without going inside. The UK has two types, one allows you inside for no more than 48 hours and the other doesn't allow you leave the airport. Generally you would need to leave the airport to your onward destination within 24 hours of landing.
Some countries however do not require you to hold a transit visa as far as you do not go through immigration and you leave within a stipulated time.
Your chances of being granted the visa by these countries depend on your reason for travel and supporting documents.

if you are going to barbados and pass new york or JK you will need US visa for transit .
let me give you route you take turkish airline for LAGOS TO ISTANBUL TO PANAMA TO Bridgetown
Turkish airlines share code with Copa airline in panama it is copa airline will take you for panama to Bridgetown
nigeria passport transit istanbul but in panama nigeria pp only transit 12 hours
this only Route you can take to get you to barbados

Unfortunately, direct flights from Panama to Barbados won't start until September.
At the moment, u can only get to Barbados via USA or UK and u will need transit visas for both. Maybe u can postpone ur trip till later in the year when flight schedules normalize.
You can also pass through Jamaica (visa still needed). Some guys organized a direct flight between Nigeria and Jamaica in Dec 20 but the one planned for June failed due to undisclosed logistics.
Naija passport na yeye.

Thank you for your input. I didn't consider all that you have mentioned as this my 1st time flying. The visa free country I'm going to is not in Europe. The airline I'm using is the one making a stop in the UK. Also, I don't have a valid way to prove I'm entering a visa free country as they don't issue any form of visa. Would it be better if I had a travel agent book the flight and arrange for some activities over there to prove that I'm only going there to tour the country?? Please I also heard that once you enter the UK, you have to quarantine. Does that apply to me as well and does the UK airport have a hotel airport to stay so it won't be necessary for me to apply for a transit visa?
If ur going to the Caribbean then u can also try the option of going through Jamaica. There is a chartered flight going from Lagos to Monteg Bay in March. U would need to get a transit visa for Jamaica and that's not hard to get.

But I learnt German embassy is not open yet.they are not taking any application

Email them and ask if u can apply for a transit visa. They will reply. On the German site, it's one of the categories of visa they grant.

Please gurus,I want to apply for a transit visa,I will be traveling to Barbados but I am scared of rejection.Canada has refused my application last year so I’m scared of further rejection.

I just want to apply for direct airside transit visa since I will staying in heathrow for 4 hours only. I am traveling to Barbados for vacation January first week. My husband and I live in Dubai but I do travel to Nigeria at will.i have been to Georgia as well.
I want to apply under super priority, i will be using my husband’s statement of account although he sent me 3million naira for my vacation (I will be going alone).so I will be using my statement Of account and his. I stopped working around March due to covid , but my husband is still working. I have my marriage certificate too
Is there any other supporting document that I need or should I go ahead and apply
I have booked my flight ticket for December 31st . I am just scared of applying because of fear of rejection

I need advise or directions
Thank you

Well, as an alternative u can try the German route. Fly to Frankfurt with Lufthansa and onwards to Bridgetown with Eurowings(which is also owned by Lufthansa). U can apply for Schengen transit visa which is easier to get than UK.

Who has tried this cotonou way?

I think Ghana is not open for international flights.

I believe Turkish Airlines is flying from Cotonou at the moment. Its just to find a way to cross Seme.

It should be more of availability. If you are travelling Sept 1,you can use the prime time which allows you walk in any day but will cost you 42k. I learnt most dates in early August are filled up and you need at least 2 weeks for decision to be made about the visa.Bros, what if international flights are not opened by then, are there other options to travel when one gets visa?

Boss na to first get the visa then find way enter Cotonou or Ghana or anywhere at all.

Good morning. Please I'd like to know what determines the appointment date. Travel date or availability? Cos I want to apply for a visa to transit on 1 Sep, would it be possible to get an appointment date in early August? Thanks.
