Vig86: My question is do those our boys seem to come back for the better in this game? Are they playing to win? Pls answer me because I am not watching the match. from what i can see, they are hustling hard to equalize, however Amunike has a lot of work to do on this set.. their ball control and passing sometimes sucks |

django1: Why should a player play twice for a single age grade competition? That is totally wrong. It is Allowed by CAF and FIFA for U20 and above. Only FIFA forbids players to play twice for U17. |
Sports › Re: Why Did The Referee Cancel Stoichkov 'freekick'goal Nigeria Vs Bulgaria Usa 94? by mackfame: 11:50am On Jan 28, 2015 |
When is a free-kick indirect? With an indirect free-kick, you obviously have to pass before you can shoot. But when are these free-kicks awarded? When, in the opinion of the ref, a player: Impedes the progression of an opponent (obstruction) Plays in a dangerous manner Prevents the goalkeeper from releasing the ball from his hands Or when a keeper, inside their own penalty area: Holds on to the ball for more than six seconds Handles a back pass Handles the ball after receiving it from a team-mate direct from a throw-in Touches the ball again with their hands, before it is touched by another player, after releasing it from their possession http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/rules_and_equipment/4200994.stm |

joseph1013: F/Eagles: Iheanacho, eight others pros for Senegal
https://www.futaa.com//images/670x350_cropped/1491265760image.jpg
The Flying Eagles have invited nine foreign-based professionals including Kelechi Iheanacho and Isaac Success ahead of next year’s African Youth Championship in Senegal.
Iheanacho is on the books of English Premier League champions Manchester City, while Success has already broken into the first team at Spanish La Liga side Granada CF.
Training camp
The other invited pros are Chidiebere Nwakali (Manchester City/England), Taiwo Awoniyi (Kalmar/Sweden), Chidera Eze (FC Porto/Portugal), Daddy Moses, Kingsley Madu (AS Trencin/Slovakia), Musa Yahaya (Tottenham Hotspur/England) and Musa Muhammed.
According to coach Manu Garba, the players are expected to join up with the Flying Eagles when the team’s training camp reopens in Kaduna on December 27.
Assurances
He also said he has received assurances for the release of the players by their clubs.
The AYC will kick off on March 8 in Dakar, Senegal. The eight-team tournament will produce Africa’s four representatives to the 2015 FIFA U20 World Cup in New Zealand. Bros any idea why Alhassan Ibrahim (Mu'azam) was not invited to the camp? |

I can’t entirely express my joy reading all your various posts, views and ideas on our darling Super Eagles.
I think its time to include Manu Garba in our SE coaching crew assisting BIG BOSS; I have a feeling that our SE lacks the relentless attacking spirit of the Eaglets and the mastering to perfection of the game of counter-attack despite possessing lots of super fast players. This is where Manu comes in; we need him to help change that attack. Remember the more goals the Eaglets scored the weaker the opponents became! I bet if all those Countries try attacking us with an improved SE leaving spaces behind as always, all that is needed is a swift break from the back and looping ball from the mid-field to either flanks… their goose will be cooked time and time again as Eaglets showed Keep the flame burning Y’all |
Sports › Re: What Will You Do If NFF Sacks Keshi? by mackfame: 1:01pm On Nov 27, 2013 |
thegoodjoehunt: Welcome. We have been calm why the corrupt ones trample any seedling that might bring hope or joy to this nation. Let us see if they can try it. Thanks for the welcome greeting fellow countryman “thegoodjoehunt”, we need not wait to see if those corrupt, good for nothing old heads will sack Keshi or not. We need to be proactive and begin to mobilise ourselves via this portal and other internet portals. The more the merrier. We have seen the power of social media in North Africa. Let them hear our serious voices that Keshi must remain the Coach of SE based on popular demand. After all we are a democratic Country and NFF represents us as Nigerians, even if it requires a referendum. Lets all spoil their aim of looting millions of our funds in the name of hiring a foreign coach. They can’t pay Keshi and yet they aspire to hire and pay a miracle coach from who knows where… what a trash!!! |
Sports › Re: What Will You Do If NFF Sacks Keshi? by mackfame: 12:09pm On Nov 27, 2013 |
I joined Nairaland because of this topic. I guess it’s high time our leaders or those in the glass house know that if they dare try to sack Keshi then they have asked for trouble. The impending revolution in Nigeria will kick start from this and believe me, the world have only seen child’s play in Northern Africa as far as revolution is concerned. Football is the only thing that unites us as a Country and they dare not mess with that after all they have done to this Country. Our eyes are now open and we can see clearer. NFF please just try it!! (It’s not an empty threat at all!!) |
