Check if you still have a previous version installed on your phone. If you do uninstall before installing a new one. download and install from playstore.

I downloaded the Mifit app already but it won't install same thing with Google play store. I'm only having problem with the Mifit app particularly as I can install other apps on Google play.

Download, install and launch MiFit app. (from Playstore or a modded MiFit app) come to telegram @maclawrence I can give it to you).

1. Log in with your mi account.

2. Click on the plus sign to connect to your mi band

3. Choose band and enable location if prompted

4. Click on pair and confirm on the band.

What's your device?

You can't find gcam on Playstore. It's mostly device specific.

Thanks for the heads up bro, if you noticed am not talking about my device but that of a friend, who is also a nairalander, agreed we can not overemphasize the merits of updates, but some people just want to hear people's experiences and thus my question.

I use a Mi 9t and the update before last was a battery Zapper but I was amongst the first to update and even with the new update, I believe am also in front line of those who updated.

Sometimes let's under the rationale behind a post before we let anger take the best of us.

Once again thanks for your contribution as I await to hear from more folks whom have had hands on of the quoted device.

For those using RN7, how's the battery life with the latest updates. I have a friend who's still on MIUI 10.3.6.0 I don beg am to update tire but the fear of battery drop no gree am.

I feel its high time we stop all these updates causes battery drain. Even if it does give it some days and hard reboots it will get back to normal. I think any phone that gives you above 6hrs sot under heavy usage is fair and my RN7 does that. Finally if you use your phone and the battery runs down abeg simply charge your phone afterall na you use am or you can get a good quick charge 3.0 power bank take follow join body. Una go dey there dey fear battery and be missing latest goodies on offer. If he's happy where he is abeg leave him alone o. grin
