you must have abused the gen, and being economical with the truth...your engine needs an overhaul, and based on the skill of the local repairmen, the gen will never be the same again.......compare cost of the overhaul vs buying a new gen...and make an informed decision


what kills gens
1. overloading the gen
2. not maintaining good oil change intervals
3. using fake/substandard oil
4. not replacing the oil after running for 10 to 20hrs on first use--when you bought the gen new.

Let me chip this in, incase after changing plug and the problem of that particular fan causing u a problem again is still there.

Check the fan capacitor if swollen/broken/damage. if not open the regulator confirm the capacitor in it if swollen/burnt/broken. If you feel it okay, Remove the two wire from the regulator that is screwed in the control, power ON your generaor connect those wires to check if you will experience that same problem.
Reason why I suggest this, generator most times damage capacitor.

Weird that that's happening, no ceiling fan should make a generator fluctuate. Get your new plug and try again.
Is this the way the generator has been behaving with the fan since you bought it?

Asides the fan turned on, what's the maximum load you have given to the generator before?

I feed my dog rice and boiled fish mixed together. And she's okay with it.
I sometimes change it to meat or boiled eggs. Though it's important to have dewormer at home if you're going to keep feeding him those food. They are high in protein and he will get worms quicker than before no harms done so far you have deworm tablet.
