Computers / Please Suggest A Laptop I Could Buy. $500 To $700 Budget by MacSmart(m): 1:53pm On Aug 07, 2022
Morning House, so I am trying to get a brand new system for my brother. My budget is between $500 to $700. Can anyone suggest a good one for me? He needs it for basic school work like projects and stuff but may also venture into video editing and animation at some point. Thanks a lot.

Hi bro, what do you think of this keyword analysis, screenshot attached.

Number of competition 10 people, average monthly earnings $3204, average search volume of 1,157, competitive score 70.

I think it is cool, but because of the competition, u might need to promote ur book a little.

Hi Self-Publishers,

I did purchased the rocket license key 5-weeks ago but must say I'm finding it hard to start writing at this time, reason is that I want to understand if we should focus more on "Competition Score" or "Number of Competitors" when using the rocket software.

For example, do I go for a keyword with "552" competitors and "45" as competition score, or "3856" competitors and "30" as competition score. Both have a good search volume and earnings.

obamartins, virgo01, macsmart and others.

The most important thing is search volume. Ensure that people are searching for the product. Next is the average income of books in the keyword. If it is much, it means people are buying. The final thing is no of competitors. That is the factor that makes me dump a keyword. The lower the number of competitors, the better for you.

50 people with average income of $9879 with a search volume of 5000 per month is better than

5892 people with average income of $50000 with search volume of 10000 per month.

My opinion.

Narrow your niche to the last sub-niche..
Or sometimes do mixture of two unrelated niches....

If you mix two unrelated niches you will create unsaturated sub-niche for yourself ..

Thanks a lot. I will work on that.

Maybe you should do your research and try to understand what the phrase "forget kindle publishing" means.

Let the op answer.

In the image below, you were discouraging people from kindle.

Now you are encouraging them.

What changed?

He wasn't discouraging anything, he was only saying they should do more POD (Print On Demand books) which is still under Amazon publishing but a more lucrative aspect of it. You should do your research first.

I really want to get a laptop from you guys, but what guarantee do I have that it will not crash within three months and leave me stranded. You know how these fairly used systems go. It is by luck to find one that actually serves you. I know what I went through with my last one. I stay in Gonin Gora.

Explosive Sales

Sales have been explosive this December. I'm not too surprised as sales usually surge in Q4 (Oct, Nov, Dec). It'll be interesting to see if this momentum continues enough for me to surpass my record of $6600 in paperback sales in a month

How's your sales going? Happy publishing.

For those interested in getting the blueprint, its available at 25% discount N15,000 until Dec 15, 2019

It'll return to its normal retail price of N20,000 after Dec 15

For enquiries, email Obinnaezeanaka@yahoo.com

At this pace, I don't think there is any way you won't pass the $6600 mark. This is really impressive. Don't worry bro. I am putting together my #100,000. I am coming. grin

Congrats bro. Nice one.

I hope the next two or three books you are about to write are in line with this one recently (i mean the same keywords) published with these statistics?

(A) If yes, don't enroll them in KDPselect.

(B) If No, consider writing and publishing along with the same hot keywords and do as I said in (A) above.

Why? Simply do as I said above.

Come back and give positive results with increased sales.

Congrats 1ce again.

Yes boss. The one I published this morning is in the same keyword and I am already seeing results. The ones I am working on now are in the same line. Maybe I will try not to enroll them in KDP like you said and see what happens. Thanks a lot. I am so happy.

So this is more like and appreciation post.

About a month ago, I came across some posts by different members of this forum encouraging people to start Kindle Publishing, which is the new 'gold mine'. I was intrigued and spent my data downloading YouTube videos to understand the art. I also bought the new version of Publisher Rocket that helps you identify the major keywords.

Last week, with the help of Publisher Rocket, I was able to hit a wonderful keyword and I began working on the book. I completed everything in three days and published. I enrolled for KDP Select, meaning that I get paid about 0.0045$ per page read. The next morning I woke up to 1100 pages read. Before the day was over it reached 1500.

Since then it has been climbing and then I sold a copy yesterday. In total I have about 5000 pages read in one week alone. Do the maths.

I am already working on three more books to be published before the end of the week. I believe it can only get better.

I want to say thank you to people like

iLegendd
eliok and others that helped make this journey an interesting one by answering all my questions in details. I can't thank you guys enough.

Thank you all guys. Nairaland is Bae.

PS: Ignore all typos. Typed this in the toilet grin
