This is one of the reasons why the Nigerian Army won't be able to defeat the Niger Delta militants. The Soldiers simply cannot swim. Puncture a boat in deep waters and the Nigerian Soldiers will most likely all drown. Most of the militants have been swimming since they were kids and can probably ecan rescue their drowning comrades
