20 year old? LOL. 'Yardie' had been used by JAMAICANS OF ALL RACES INCLUDING JEWS since the 1930s and even futher, please! And this isnt war its a dialogue that ppl are trying to make into a cat fight.
My Mother is a black woman  so do I not know what you mean "including Jews" I know  with all your learning you will be  aware the Jews of Jamaica come in many shades.

Young lady you may be well read but until you walk in another man's shoes do not speak what you do not know.

It does not matter how many years a term as been used WE DO NOT CALL each other yardi.

YOU ARE TOO CONFRONTATIONAL, WE ARE NOT AT WAR ON THIS SITE, unless you wish to start one.

PICK YOUR BATTLES WISELY

WOW! i just love the results! I knew no matter how much i explain each sentence I would be accused of "hating on Nigerian women" "attacking Nigerian people" when CLEARLY, OBVIOUSLY, I am simply stating that we Jamaican AND Nigerian women are NOT too much different and also that I should not be judged according to my heritage or if i so choose to date an African man. In my personal experience I have had African women "try" to pick fights or even try to box with me because I was with an African man and as I told them I am telling you all my skin complexion does not lie. I am African away from Africa that is ALL I am saying.

Not to mention I do not wear colorful tacky weaves, would NEVER bleach my ebony skin and I HATE weed, contrary to some of my Jamaican sisters, hey im just trying to squash the stereotype, and let me not forget that most of you who bash me and skim to read WHAT YOU WANT to read are the MAIN ONES whove left nasty comments about Jamaican women, let me futher digress by saying I am NOT the right one to attack! Just know that,

To Mad lady you say your mother is a Jamaican Jew yet you tell me you "dont like the term Y.A.R.D.I.E and that she doesnt know CANit means? not only is that a contradition but it doesnt make sense. You are "Jamaican" atleast you claim to be, Yardie is a term that we Jamaicans use to refer to ourselves. Yardie is a person who is either a resident of or have emigrated/children of emigrated from Jamaica which we call "Yard". Unlike the UK folks who want to type caste a yardie to mean Jamaican thug, its not so, Yardie to Jamaicans is what Salone is to Sierra Leoneans, As a "Jamaican" you should know that. And I never attacked Nigerian women I dont know what you are trying to prove or what you are reading by my tone is not that of anger but sadness, period. point. blank.
Look I am not at  war with you, you call yourself what you wish.

My Mother is a JAMAICAN JEW, they do not use the term Yardi, she's 55 years old, do you expect her to talk the same slang as a  20 year old.

@platinumnk, I am back online.

Item paid for now, so I will wait until they arrive and then send onto you.
Total cost £27.00 for 7, when I receive them I will let you know, don't worry about the postage cost to you.

The seller really stiffed me for postage, but it saves me going all the way to BRIXTON and they may not have had any and parking soooo high unless you park in the Supermarket.

DEAL WITH IT, If you were so intelligent as you claim you are you would know that it is utterly silly to come to a Nigerian website to rant and insult our intelligence like we are the only ones that sterotype. Sweetheart we live in stratified society,a one of hierarchy, its all about am better than you, you and you. A Nigerian woman thinks they are the best (for the record we are) and the Carribbean Women thinks they are the best, hell even in Nigeria an igbo woman thinks she better than the hausa woman, and even in carribbaen it is the sameeeeeee, am not going to tell you are the best to make you feel better, and you shouldn't go to website to validate who you are. Do you know how many time i have had to deal with such sterotypes (Black vs White, Jamaican vs Carribean, Jamaicans vs Black Americans, Black American vs Africans, Ghana vs Nigerian, West Africa vs East Africa,South africa) listen its life deal with it, instead of coming here and spilling you ignorance and what are you even doing here if you not Nigerian?
I would NEVER say such things  to anyone, I  would never make judgements on all for a statemant made by a few.

I am not the person who started/posted this thread.

@Poster, @ayettymama really is correct, I did Visual Merchandising for some years, left due to ill health.

I would find it hard to get back into the industry now without a degree.

If it's at all possible get a degree even if it's after a few years of working. Good luck smiley

@platinumnk,the seller just got back to me, he's not really prepared to deal, the 20pence off on each he's offering is just not enough for me to take the risk and buy off ebay.

So it's 7, at £2.99 each, that's all he's got left plus postage to me. Do you want me to buy them?

1B/purple.

Ok the guys postage is very heavy, these are light and should weigh very little, postage to me £1.00 each. Will wait to hear from you before I buy, the postage cost is really too high but maybe it will save me the trip to BRIXTON and they may not have it.

Will keep my laptop unline till I hear from you.

If he doesnt bring them, I will certainly bring some in when I go next month BTGOG

In the mean time do you want the few that I have?
