I will be writing my Jamb these and I will like you guys to help me I am thinking of choosing computer engineering in Afit but do you guys think it is a good career in Nigeria and what other careers in Engineering do you think are great in Nigeria for securing a job with out connections

I studied civil engineering and it's a very good course.
If you see how much engineers are making, you won't even think twice before you choose civil engineering.
But everything also depends on connection to get a good job, especially in federal govt agencies like ministry of works and others.
So, pray for God direction
Also, you need to be very sound in calculation of you want to achieve a good grade in civil engineering.

Computer. It's easier to get good paying jobs without connection as a computer engineer and civil. They will just use you to construct everything and wont pay well claiming they haven't released funds for the contract. And you can easily travel out to work abroad with computer engineering.

Please People in North Cyprus can you tell me any sort of racism you have witnessed I don’t understand why the FGN is warning Nigerians not to go I have seen many people in north Cyprus studying peacefully as it is one of the most international student friendly country in the world. While most of the recent deaths I have read about if you read the story are either of scammers, fighting over a girl or people who associate with drugs or people that went to a Remote location let’s face it even in Nigeria if you go to any remote location you are not from even if you are from there bad things happen especially during this kidnapping season not to talk of another man’s country. If you are talking of commissioned Police officer, good, go for it, it is 100% OK, but you are talking about recruitment, brother, just forget about police work and mind you, gone are in the days when you join police with HND, MASTER, PHD, now, you can only join recruitment with 0'level, be you graduate or not.
Again, going or gaining admission into Police Academy (POLAC) is very tough, am sure you know that.
