Dont be sad. One of the people we all celebrate here told me personally after he got his ppr that he wrote ielts 7 times (imagine that)

This is what you will do:

cry out(for emotional release)
Then calm down
Strategize on how you will approach your next exam
Go to youtube to practise in order to improve on your weak areas

I personally thinks you need a overhaul on your English in general as your range is around 6.5. And you need to move to a range of 8 - 8.5 in this canada voyage.

Listening :practise on you tube with cambridge materials(google mistakes people make in ielts listening exam). Also take note of generally mispelt words in ielts

Speaking: (get samples of questions and answers and practise them before a mirror or someone with listening ears (i will also attach a pdf of questions and answers for you. (i couldn't attach as promised but i have put the screen shot here so that you can search for it on Google)

Writing (try ieltsmaterials dot com) they have lots of various styles of writing ( i enjoyed using their materials

Reading: (take note of true, false or Ng question types. Practise with academic module and later on the general module and you will discover how easy is it to pass reading exam

Stay strong!
thank you very much . i appreciate

I thought same too but she is intending to be the primary applicant not him so it may not matter so much in points, she needs to use the CRS tool to check, I am too lazy to.

@maideyz: if you are thinking that Oga may be the PA if he aces IELTS, you will have to do both.
I am the PA and not him. I have done my own WES and i have two BSC certificates. One is my Bsc and the other is my professional certificate.

I appreciate your advise but the dummy converter do not give option for post graduate diploma.

I appreciate the information given on this platform.May God bless everyone that has been of help in rendering informations. My husband wants to do his Wes. He graduated from Bayero University but he is having issues getting his transcript sent. He has done his PGD in Nassarawa university. Is it advisable to just send the PGD and forget the Bsc. What is PGD equivalent to on WES.

Good day all,

I got a very dissappointing result for my ielts. This is my third attempt and i really prepared for the exam but to my dissapointment the result is worse than the previous ones.

I had Listening 7
Reading 6.5
writing 6.0
speaking 6.5

i have wept my eyes out. Please i think something is definitely wrong because i studied hard for this exam. i used the jays youtube session, studied with ielts buddy and ieltsliz. i am thinking of applying for remark. kindly advise if it is really worth. what is the cost and process. thank you.

Can you share his transcript and is that his first application to travel to U.S?
He has been to Dubai before but not in the past 5 years. He was denied last year when i was already in the us. He was suppose to come and join me but was not granted visa. he was denied because there is discrepancy between what he said as the purpose of travelling to dubai and what the visa has. he said he went for vacation while the visa says business.

Good day house,

Let me start my thanking the contributors to this forum. This platform has helped me to get my visa to the USA sometimes last year.I was able to gather enough information that helped me a lot, though it was on another discussion that is deliverying in the usa. i had my baby sometimes last year in usa ( i declared i was going to give birth when the visa was given) and i paid all my bills. i also have a zero balance for both hospital and doctor. My husband requested to come join me when i was in usa but was denied a visa. He now wants to apply so that we can go for a vacation at orlando with the our baby which is 8 months old. what are the possibilities of them granting my husband and also would like to know the important document and hints he must go with?

Hello Elpaso Mums,

I have been so lazy to write my experience since i delivered.
It was my first attempt to apply for a usa visa and was granted at 30 weeks plus. I told the truth that i was going to give birth and attached with all evidence that i am able to pay and also the doctors correspondence. My total bill was doctor -2365 and hospital was -2700. The doctor intentionally isued me a receipt to show that i ve already paid which i ve not. I was granted the visa with the help of God. I went through Mary land and was not asked any serious question at the point of entry. i connected the next day to elpaso at 34 weeks but i had a nasty experience with accomodation. The ladies name is MODUPE ODUWOLE.She is a big scam in elpaso though she claim she is a nurse. i was thrown out of the house with my baby and my first born after giving birth. she collected a thousand dollars from me for accomodation for a month and i paid her for two months( i still have my change with her). and she treated me like a piece of rag. i was rescued by a Grace Lodge in elpaso where is stayed till i returened. My advise to elpaso mums is that if you hear this name please dont stay with her. she is a devil in disguise.

Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 5 by PrinceAdeAde: 12:35pm On Jul 05

2. Visa on Arrival is way cheaper and hassle free than it is made to look(the only cheaper option on the long run is if you are in atlanta and go for the baby nigerian passport). Just send a mail to oa@nigeriaimmigration.gov.ng requesting for one using the format shared previously on the forum and you would be responded to early enough. in my case,I got a response the same day and please do it yourself and dont pay any processing money. You only need to pay the actual application fee to immigration which can be made on arrival($180 using card and $190 using cash though. Surprisingly,my wife mentioned they did not even look at any letter at Lagos Airport to give our baby the visa. Note that houston immigration requested to sight the actual email so you may want to keep your phone and email handy to avoid complications

Hello All,

Thanks for the information and support. My journey ends here. Just some tips based on my wife second US birthing experience
1. You need two valid means of identifications(preferably driver's licence & international passport) to process and collect US docs(Birth certificate,US Passport). My wife licence expired before she traveled and she forgot this requirement so it was not as straightforward as her first experience. Alternatively, you can use work ID or any US resident to identify you.

2. Visa on Arrival is way cheaper and hassle free than it is made to look(the only cheaper option on the long run is if you are in atlanta and go for the baby nigerian passport). Am always available on PM to assist with any further information.Good luck to all expecting mums and Dads. God Bless
Thanks for the info. I am presently in texas and I am passing through Maryland back to naija. Do I just call them to request for a point of entry visa too or I can only call the Atlanta office
.

It usually takes 5-12 business days at the most. Focus on your recovery and dont forget not to leave without your baby's social security card which takes about the same amount of time to arrive by mail. Congratulations!

She can take the notorize DS 3053 along, she already knows the name they want to give the baby. Any notary public can notorize the form she doesn't have to notorize at the US embassy.
Is it not possible you fill nd get it notarized without putting the date.?you can always put the date with a black pen when you sure of the date of birth. Just thinking

Greetings to all in the house: 1st ‘missionary’ journey successfully concluded mainly thanks to advice & tips from this Forum.

For me, it’s been one favour or miracle after the other.
1st, my Godsent, confident Elpaso obgyn allowed me to have a vagi/normal delivery despite my quite advanced age & high risk, precious nature of pregnancy. Was successfully induced at 40 weeks.
ii. this normally superbusy doctor patiently stayed with me for over an hour in very final stage of labour, encouraging me to push despite 2 doses of oxygen & my worry that it might end in C-Section.
iii. Discharged on morning of 3rd day. After being presented with xtra bill of $1,900 (despite paying full package price b4 delivery), hospital later relented after visits & calls & adjusted my account balance to zero.
*Note: After delivery, even if for ex, u’re on a payment package covered by doctoresparati, you may still get bills outside of the package; don’t panic, simply ensure you see/call the Fin. Counsellors of the hospital & explain you are on selfpay package. E.g I was sent a $10, 944 anaesthesia bill despite epidural being already part of package costs. However some bills must be paid outside package e.g 2nd PKU test for baby [$12] & separate Pathology bills for mother & baby[ours was $159 after 30% discount].
iv. My Naija paediatrician saved phototherapy cost by ordering sunbathing 4 jaundiced baby instead[His bill: $300]. LO otherwise in perfect health. Speedily refused hearing test for her (fear of xchange rate is beginning of wisdom!) Baby’s Birth Certificate [$23] was ready after 1 week. Collected it with Int. Drivers’ Licence & Lagos US embassy notarised form [‘FEDEXed’ to me by DH].
*Note: In Elpaso, Nigerian Voters Card NOT ACCEPTED as ID for baby’s BC collection. [I photographed & sent my signature & passport photo by email to DH who then applied for Int. Drivers’ license on my behalf].
*Asked for my baby’s Social Security card to be mailed to Dallas address. On receipt, trusted Dallas based relation opened it & gave me the no. over phone which I then supplied to Elpaso Passport office.
v. Applied for baby’s US passport & flew to Dallas following day. It’s usually ready in 3 days but as I was leaving Elpaso b4 it would be ready, I had it posted [$165+$15] to me in Dallas. Wasted time & money in Dallas for overnight return courier envelope in applying for Emergency Travel Certificate for baby only to be informed that it was no longer being issued. With travel date being the following Monday, had to apply online for Nigerian Visa [2 money orders of $180+ $85] & sent baby’s US passport (with return courier envelope) to Nigerian embassy on Friday (without agent).Visa issued same day (proper one, not biro) & baby’s passport couriered back to me in Dallas the very next day (Saturday)! God bless Mr. Usman for prompt & free assistance to me.
vi. The Elpaso landlord (who had been temporarily away in Naija )of the accommodation that I relocated to from Intown Suites, briefly returned to Elpaso & realised that he had been my private SAT/TOEFL student 20 years ago in Festac, & freely chauffeured, shopped and even babysat once for me in last few days of my stay in Elpaso. I returned to Lagos 2 weeks later & in Akoka [Lagos] miraculously ran into him AGAIN while he was visiting someone before he finally returned to Elpaso. MORAL: it’s a very tiny world! Never be nasty/cheat anyone in the belief that you’ll never meet again.
vii. At Dallas airport, was charged $71.60 for infant ticket by Emirates. Had paid N524, 000 for my own return ticket in November 2016. No bassinet on 14.30 hr Dallas/Dubai leg but journey not bad. Allowed to take special (black) airport baby stroller (mine had been checked in at Dallas boarding gate) overnight to hotel. Bassinet provided on Dubai/Lagos leg but baby preferred my arms!
• I must say, this Forum has been an invaluable source of info to me; may it grow from strength to strength; Forum Old Timers, u’re like classroom teachers, pls do not tire of repeating answers to the questions of Forum Newbies or rudely tell them to go back & start reading from 1st page; not everyone has the time or strength for research!

So finally my e-brethren, I’m very glad to be back home to our dear Naija despite the heat, encountered primitiveness & NEPA. [there is no place like home grin]. What matters is that after a safe delivery, I am now a mother at last after more than 22 years of marriage.[still ttcing sisters, pls. hold on to ur dream]. I give God all the glory.
Hello Thermolady, i am happy for you and hope your baby is doing great. Please i am currently in elpaso in the elpaso to have my baby and i have been informed that it takes a long time for the birth certificate to arrive. Please i will like to know if you had to an extra fee for the certificate to arrive early. Kindly advise on how you were able to scale through.

Ontario application is open now... For those that have 400 and above, please re-create a new profile and add Ontario as a province you are interested in... You should get an NOI asap.

The application is online now, so there might be hope of a faster processing time.

Also note that you have to pay an application fee of 1,500 CAD USD.

All the best guys and Good Luck!
please i need more clarification on this. i am in the pool already ( since january) and i selected all province. Do I need to recreate my profile again and what is the fee of 1500 CAD for.

Do i need to recreate my profile and select ontario as my province.

Please i would appreciate if the house can guide me.
