I have had my own fare share of simping. It is what it is.
I had this girl that I like but asked her out and she decline but was always around me getting benefits.

A professor teaches about 5000 a year and writes book. A policy maker make damn policy for the whole country. The money they are paid isn't the problem. They shouldn't be comparing them selves. Professor would be there for as long as he wishes, while the senators has limited time.
If you check properly money is not entirely the problem.
