MichaelSokoto:Except Tinubu has a deal with him, I don't see why it's difficult to fire him for working against national interest. |
chopnaira: |
It's the audacity for me. Imagine the north that tolerated Buhari's 8 years misrule of Nigeria calling for a military takeover. Who do these people think they are? Do they think they own these country? I'm no Tinubu's supporter and just perhaps may never be but to hell with the north, to hell with their sponsors. It's now clear to Tinubu and the Yoruba that the north they're pleasing don't rate them. If only Tinubu knew that only a united south can save him. But look how he has sidelined the other 2 southern regions in his govt to focus on just his Yoruba group. A serious president, an intelligent president will try to make inroads into the 'hostile: South East and South South, placate them, bring them close not minding what it costs him. Unfortunately, the sycophants around him will not let him see the need to do that. Let me put it here before I'm misunderstood, the South East expect nothing from him. With or without him, they will always be fine. Haven't they been? What did they not suffer under the ineffectual Buffon called Buhari and came out strong? |
numericalguy:Obi can't win the presidency with demented bigots like you. When there are more you than sensible Nigerians, ain't no way is Obi going to win. |
@Racoon, you don't need to reply that bot. |
These people are evil and should be shunned. Who do they represent? Certainly not the likes of me. Obi is a democrat and democracy provides for the right to association, movement and expression which includes right to protest. Nobody can deny us that right Obi supporting protest doesn't make him anti-Nigeria, he's standing with the masses long oppressed by the govt. Did Atiku, Sowore and some other presidential candidates in the last election not support the protest? Why is Obi's case different? |
Is it not Tinubu that made a caustic comment during the occupy Nigeria protest that Jonathan has betrayed Nigerians with the removal of fuel subsidy? Is the 2012 condition of Nigeria not far better than what we have now? Is it not Wole Soyinka that insulted Jonathan and his wife calling the woman all sorts of uncomplimentary names? Nobody is interested to oust Tinubu, what people are asking for is an end to bad governance. He should do the right thing for the suffering Nigerians, make the country attractive to both Nigerians and foreigners to live. |
The fat toad said those who protested against Jonathan are planning to remove Tinubu another southerner. How phoolish can one be. Isn't it the likes of Tinubu himself, Wole Soyinka, Tunde Bakare and many others who led the protest against Jonathan? Why did Tinubu lead a protest against his fellow southerner but the hypocritical bag of hot air is here yarning nonsense? |
CyrusVI:Perhaps not directly as he isn't expected to but he speaks/responds indirectly through his aides and officials of his govt and party. |
helinues:You're so afraid to call out the north who wrote to the IGP concerning the strike. The South East say they ain't interested in any strike, so don't drag them into it. The South East generally didn't vote Tinubu because they knew he has nothing to offer, so they were prepared for his cluelessness. |
Anguldi:Did you read that it's an exchange program between Nigeria and those countries whose nationals are also here? The students didn't send themselves there, they were sent by the FG. The way some of you think is befuddling. |
Oxb90:Like the citizens have a choice and voice. |
Bhella5:Even if the one in Abia State is the worst, it still isn't the responsibility of the state government. Nigeria Police is a federal agency. |
Every we'll meaning Nigerian knows Obi and his supporters don't have a hand in the planned protest. As much as Obi and his supporters don't like what's happening in the country, they have said it countless times they aren't interested in any protest. |
John Locke, the father of constitutionalism upon which the American democracy is built advocated same in his Second Treatise on Civil Government. That's why some state legislatures in the US operate on a part time basis. It saves cost and allows the legislators time to work on their bills. |
RichBoy247:Hahahaha, you think everyone here is beggar like you? When you reach my level of education and attain my experience in service, no way can you beg for food |
Mbanda:Exactly, you will wonder why they aren't making such demands on Soyinka. Come to think of it, since Obi came to national limelight, has Soyinka ever wished him well that those e-rats are foaming on the mouth? |
Two days ago, Peter Obi turned 63 and many we'll meaning Nigerians congratulated him on this milestone. However, what is conspicuous is the absence of any message from Wole Soyinka. Why didn't Soyinka felicitate with Obi? Why didn't Soyinka show maturity by congratulating Obi since that's what his supporters accused Obi of lacking? Why hasn't the likes of Reno Omokri written their distasteful articles in condemnation of Soyinka the way he did with Obi? Isn't what's good for the geese also good for the gander? |
Judolisco:This is not restructuring but centralization of power at the centre. In a restructured system, regional govts or state govts as we now have would be responsible for many of the things the central govt (FG) has saddled itself with. While we are crying that the FG and the president is becoming more powerful than they should be, they are taking on more powers which ordinarily and in a federal state should be for the state govts. |
IfnobeGod20:Pls don't make a mistake trying to correct that dunce. Obi's certificate was signed on 15th December 1984 which is a Saturday not Sunday as the dunce said. At UNN and most other Nigerian universities I know higher degree certificates bear the date of convocation which are mostly held on Saturdays. |
NaMe4:I don't care whatever anyone claims to be as it doesn't put food on my table but your (few Yoruba) to gaslight the Igbo here is very remarkable. Same thing you do is what you strenuously accuse others of. |
helinues:But you sad wasternars have been provoking the Igbo with the Ikwerre isn't Igbo nonsense. I can count the number of posts created here on that matter. The problem with you guys is that you can't tolerate what you give to others |

Makunahatata:My family always stands for what's right unlike you and your family that support evil if it benefits you It's because of folks like you that the govt don't take the citizens seriously, they know that whatever they do no matter how bad, they will always get support from you and your likes. |
helinues:How did the ECOWAS court arrive at its decision? |
sleek214:The decision may be merely academic as I'm sure Nigeria will not comply with it but what it does show is that a massacre took place and the Nigerian govt have refused to accept responsibility for the death of its citizens. Again, DJ Switch I'm sure doesn't need the money, she isn't a pay per post crumb eater like you. |
WizardOfNG:Yes he can get support from friends, family and former colleagues and survive but there are millions who don't have who to assist them. Hanks isn't fighting for himself alone but even you. |
MYKELDAYO:Tell Wike to let the young man to concentrate on his job. He may have brought him in but he should hands off and let him work. |
How did we arrive at this gentlemanly agreement that past presidents can't be called to account for their stewardship? Buhari should also be in the dock with these kleptomaniacs like Umar Farouk, Sirika and Malami. They serve at his discretion and he should be held responsible for the evils of that govt and not only mere appointees. |
Aldol:You think any reasonable Igbo is interested in a protest? The Igbo have gone beyond caring, Tinubu can destroy the country if he wishes but the average Igbo have always been prepared. |
