Yes you swallow,you just do it early in the morning and that's all for the day. But you have to be religious about it...you have to do it daily to get the desired results.

I had the same issue but without the swollen. Solution:
1. Drink a cup of water when you wake-up before eating anything.
2. Chew 3 strips of garlic a minute after drinking the water.
3. Once or twice a week get guava leaves wash and boil and drink.(optional) it's hard to get guava tree this days but I have it so I use it.
This method works like charm.
