sarrki: I do agree boss that we are a sovereign nation
Having said that FG at this period needs friends and not enemies
That’s what the opposition is trying to do and federal government is playing to there hands At this point, UK an USA are not friends with this administration. Their secret desire is for a PDP and corruption to return. Why? Because they benefit from it. Last year HSBC, a British bank shut down Nigerian operation because there is no more stolen funds from Nigeria to transfer. UK has not supported our efforts to arrest Deziani obviously becuase larger part of the fund she stole is hidden in their economy. And US eating her vomit by allowing a wanted Atiku into their country to aid his campaign effort obviously shows they have choosen a side. They are already uncomfortable with PMB' s romance with China. Baba should not be dettered. He should continue with in-house cleaning. We cannot have currupt judges working for the opposition. |

I served there and can attest to the fact that Beroms are lazy, envious and very violent by default. Only their women are a bit hardworking. Burukutu /Beer life is the realm of their men and youth. |

Khd95: Bihari must go
APC IS SATANIC, DEMONIC, BLOOD SUCKING EVIL CULT So BUHARI / APC is also the cause of Jos Crisis ?? Jos crisis predates the formation of APC and even the emergence of Buhari as the President. I served (NYSC) in Plateau State in 2004 and I can tell you the it was worse then. What is happening now is just child's play compared to past occurrences. Plateau crisis goes beyond the realm of Politics as far as I'm concerned. The people there (all of them) - Beroms, Hausa Fulani, Ibos and Yorubas, hate each other with passion. Putting an end Conflict in that area is almost impossible. |

iammo: Defection goes both ways APC only need more senators temporarily to boot out saraki and pass suplimentary budget. Senators know this and they are using it as a bargaining tool Exactly my point. APC have bargaining advantage over PDP for any defecting senator right now. And i know they would key into that. Akpabio's defection was just a bait for Saraki. If it proves difficult or impossible for him to declare Akpabio's seat vacant, more defections will certainly follow from PDP to APC. And if he succeeds, his own seat might also be declared vacant. He might also loose the support of some other senators sympathetic towards Akpabio. It is a very difficult situation for him right now. Let's continue to watch the drama. The latest now is that a south east senator Senator Ayogu Eze (i just learnt he is not a serving senator though) |
Politics › Re: Court Stops Saraki From Declaring Akpabio’s Seat Vacant by maj007(m): 11:17am On Aug 16, 2018 |
iammo: Smart move, if apkabio , and other decampees can't loose their seat even when there wasn't any fractionalization in PDP, then saraki can't loose his when there was an obvious fractionalization in APC, leading to 23 states with parallel Congress. That is some offensive move, saraki is no more playing defensive. For people who lack understanding of this move; the sole aim is to loose the case and give the loss good publicity thereby setting a precedence that what is good for apkabio is also good for others saraki's lawyers would never contest the expatriate order Your analysis is incomplete. Unfortunately for him, it will pave way for more defections. Most likely from PDP to APC. And that will be his doom. MODIFIED Senator Ayogu Eze Defects To APC In Enugu... and now the real game begins. |

Dc4life: If we can negotiate with this faction of B. H to release the girls in their custody. Why can we just negotiate with them to lay down their arms and embrace peace amnesty? I believe it's cheaper for the country to rehabilitate them and make them useful to the society than wasting money in prosecuting the war against them, maintaining refugee camps, rebuilding the lives lost and rebuilding the destroyed infrastructures. My humble opinion. Exactly my thought. |

This might be a reprieve of a sort.
I only hope the new investor will insist on emplacement of proper corporate governance in the company. Because as of now, there is total absence of it in the company. Jegede runs the place like a sole proprietorship with so much fund diversion to private endeavors all the time.
I have it on good authority that the staff have not been paid salary for several months now while countless contractors / vendors are also being owed multiple millions of naira.
The company is totally in bad shape on every front. A look at the financials of the company completely shows the level of rot in the company with massive debts being owed various banks.
No doubt the company has good potentials, but strict corporate governance has to be emplaced for the potentials to be actualized.
And I will also advise the new investor to keep an eagle eye on Jegede because he is a "Sharp Man". |
