I wanted to ghost it out for a while but this brought me out of ghost mode. I no dey like hear rejection for ear. From the little excerpts that you gave us on the VOs basis for rejection it was clear the major issue the VO had was not with the experience itself but with the renumeration. S/he clearly should have somehow stated govt's 19,800 in addition to the 60k housing allowance and 60k transport allowance initially because I guess the VO saw those as allowances and did not accept these sums as salary payment which is a mandatory prerequisite for work experience. Now to damage control, the uploading of posting letter which in this case doesn't seem to be the problem and salary deposit of 19800, which was not initially stated in the application, without a clear explanation to the VO who if the file is reopened will still be the one to re review might not be of much help. So a heartfelt LOE which should include ommision of Federal government's 19800 monthly payment somewhere in it, an updated reference letter which should now include the 19800 per month in addition to the other previously stated allowances from the school and documents @COPR have highlighted should very well work. Note that his or her job is to sway the mind of this same VO to reconsider positively and only a well explained LOE with accompanying evidences can do this. I know @ladymarshall and others will also weigh in on this soonest. I wish him/her all the best! We will hear good news soon. |
Big congratulations to everyone who is celebrating their IELTS breakthrough. God's blessing to the tutors who have been a blessing to one person or the other on this our lovely thread. Like I previously said, selflessness lives here. To those who fell short in one module or another, please feel free to remark if you can especially if it is speaking or writing, I pray for positive outcome for y'll. For those who have to rewrite, don't give up like venorite said, just unlearn and relearn. You can also contact our lovely gurus for help if you need to. |
Tina26:I am in tears right now . You are the official no nonsense personnel our thread has right now. You no even congratulate am on the IELTS breakthrough. ![]() |
Tina26:@yemblaze abeg come and give Tina the appropriate picture for Mrs No Nonsense of our thread . Her temperament is a beauty to behold. |
Stencil:Hahahahaha ![]() Definitely page one stuff for season 9. Bless you PROPHET!! How many percent of POF will you be collecting Sir? . Chief linker please help us creat link for any newbie that will ask same Sir.cc @topsmamen |
dumije01:No problem bro. Let's hope the other suggestions given work. Looking forward to your PPR gist. |
Dinma27:What he suggested was helpful now . He isn't saying he should get them done, he is saying it is part of the requisite documents to be uploaded and submitted post ITA. I pray against the spirit of confusion on this our thread o. VOs should better start dishing out PPRs so the tension here can be doused small . |
ShoeShineGuy:Bro first off, you have set record as the first person to tell us long post alert without PPR to follow . I actually thought it was your PPR announcement. You really have spoken well as regards that which we have been battling on the thread for a while now and that is the need for research and due diligence on this important life journey just to avoid repetition of already answered questions But as regards the fake PPR stories, I really don't fully agree with you o, I doubt if with the not so easy nature of this process, anyone will have it within them to post a fake PPR story just for clout just as we have everywhere on social media now. As regards moniker change, na fear of VPA (village people's association) dey cause some people to do that o my brother. Then no wan cast ni. For the pension matter that you mentioned I guess what the man meant was that he used 25% of his pension as 100% POF. Na OG the man go be . I remember some time back where someone with the same family size complained about delay in getting his family's PPR, I'm guessing he is the one. Making it mandatory to preconfirm PPRs before posting on the thread ruins the spontaneity and the fun as people will feel even more less obliged to doing that. Your every concerns are quite understandable because of our dear country but I can tell you to an extent that the case has been different on this thread. Selflessness and good will lives here I must tell you but that won't stop us from being cautious or letting down our guard. God bless us all bro ! |
Topsmamen:Thanks so much boss. Make IRCC release @ladymarshall's property abeg so we can read an interesting joint landing gist . |
yemblaze:I can't o. I can't wait for your ITA to eventually come too. Make this ECA people no dey use us play. You inspire a lot of us on this thread to never give up. When it lands I want them to be fleshy shekere dancers o just as @iaatmguy has noted . |
ladymarshall:Amen to the prayers too o. If no be say our countries of residence are different I would have really loved to be on the same plane with you and @topsmamen, if you know you know . |
dumije01:My guy I believe your NYSC posting letter is the missing link here my brother. If it will cost you going to your local government of deployment or getting it from your PPA, it is important you get that. If you can get the original posting letter to the school scanned and write an heartfelt LOE stating to them all the things you have stated to us on here and also if possible add documents that you have previously submitted like statement of account during your NYSC and an updated reference letter you should get PPR in no time. From the much I have gathered here what I know is that the VOs like to be convinced beyond reasonable doubt and won't delay your approval further as soon as they are convinced. |
CanadianFan:Bros no be like this we talk am now. If you read her post very well you will see she is just stating the obvious to you on the lightest of note . Please read Adeco's PPR post very very well and see how he was able to go through this process from start to finish without asking for help on this thread but simply searching for case specific answers by using the search tab provided on the top and bottom page of the thread and now he is a proud permanent resident of our dream country. You have to know we've come in peace and we want you to achieve your dreams just as we ours. God speed bro!! |
ladymarshall:Thanks for the clarification our English Marshall. If it is true this new VOs are doing the most. We have to start fasting and prayer sessions o. Thank you for always coming through. |
adeco:In the midst of the mutual funds brouhaha that we have been battling came a breath of fresh air and the most hilarious intro I have read all season. I can see why you got IELTS in the bag on first sitting, if you were not a banker, you for be one sound writer we all do look up to. The greatest joy is the bolded in the quoted text. Please let us just do better and get the information we need from the thread. Congratulations bro, go and flex with your sister in our dream country . |
psalmizt:This would have been a speedy application for you and I know it will still be one. Sorry to ask, was the RR noted somewhere in your application or you got a letter from Sydney just as people get ADR? How exactly did you get the RR? I'm asking because what we have been used to is ADR and not RR so I and I'm sure others will want to know the nature of RR. To the issue at hand, just as we agreed when this mutual funds thing came up and as @blackgold3 has reiterated, as soon as the VO raises concern over our form of investment be it through RR or ADR, please don't let's start explaining this from that. Let us just liquidate the funds into our accounts immediately and print an updated statement of account showing the receipt of fund. This on its own clears the doubt of the VO that the said sum is indeed not encumbered, an LOE stating that the funds has been liquidated and now readily available in your account can follow. Trust me I believe if this is the only concern the VO has, you will get PPR within a week. As soon as PPR drops you can now decide to reinvest your money pending the time you intend to move as I also believe it will be better to have the funds readily available when travelling too. If it makes us sleep better at night, we can also be proactive and liquidate the fund now and duly raise CSE showing updated POF. I believe with gretop's case, there will be enough awareness at the VOs and most people will just gets RRs and ADRs rather than outright rejection. God speed everyone. May the New overzealous VOs not be the end of us . |
Finally made it here after reading through over 50 pages to catch up . I specially want to thank everyone who have been selfless and been of help to others in one way or the other on the thread. @Ladymarshall, the English Marshall herself, your selflessness is just out of this world ehn, see as you carry @gretop matter for head like say na your own. The thing shock me, we will surely celebrate with you soonest . @topsmamen, our elder who has consistently busted that myth that all elders abandon us for the sister thread as soon as PPR drops. God bless you Baba, we know like someone rightly noted that you are planning the same landing time with English marshall . @ednut1, @,iamatguy, @stencil and every other individual who have been keeping the thread going, God bless you all immensely. @yemblaze went AWOL at one point but came back with a bang coming in with new shekere dancers. Don't hibernate on us o .My post AOR process has been a story of so far so good. If any of us have ended up in an Indian group post AOR, you will know that we don't know worry compared to our Indian brothers, one who is perfectly healthy can turn hypertensive with the way these our partners in emigration worry and get scared at the slightest. Imagine raising gcms notes a day after BIL and mailing Ralph some days after giving biometrics. For the recent mutual funds brouhaha, let's all just stay calm and know that if at any point we get ADR because of mutual funds, just liquidate the fund ASAP and send the updated account statement to prove to the VO that indeed the fund is over accessible, but in my opinion I believe @gretop's case is an outlier and we will celebrate with him soon. Let's not fret abeg. Congratulations to all ITA and PPR clinchers and we shall celebrate even more as this season winds down. For those of us currently waiting I pray we will get that which we so desire soonest. I hope I don't lag behind again o . |
Jennypharb1:I just couldn't wait to be all caught up to specially congratulate you ma'am. I could feel the energy zap you felt in the latter part of your . Thank goodness it ended

well. God bless your sister and everyone else who were of immense help too. The new country will definitely favour you. |
Here I was thinking IRCC was going to surprise us with a Thursday draw as they didn't work on Monday but it seems they have their own personal plans. To think that but for @topsmamen's advise I was on the brink of declining my ITA, God bless you again boss. Please for expectant ITA hopefuls, don't feel discouraged about how things turned out this week, let's just remain hopeful and know that we all will move soonest. |
ShoeShineGuy:I saw the post boss. This group is indeed a wealth of information. When we thought there was nothing new to be added to our catalogue you and @emmatrack came up with this and I am sure it will duly be moved to almighty page one. To the house, please let us do our due diligence first and be sure our situation is unique. Then we can come to the thread to escalate. May happiness find us all!! |
yemblaze:Mama the mama, I have seen that o. Thank you, I guess it should have made first page already for reference for as many prospective applicants that the info can help. I was so so behind on the thread but I am close to catching up now. Our day job no dey gree us see thread read until person close from there. Omo my post no carry picture sha . |
Villagegirl:It will come soonest. We are staying hopeful for you guys. The invisible VO thing cracked the hell out of me . Last last Maple land will host us noni. |
ladymarshall:This last part gave me joy. Mothers are just the best. Our one and only Marshall e go drop in no time. We remain expectant. |
emmatrack:This is why I love this thread, if this works for him as you have advised, people who had documentation issues like this when they indeed sent their document(s) through the right channel can always follow suite and may also likely get similar result. @shoeshineguy please let us know if this suggestion works for you so that this can be conveniently moved to first page by our indefatigable Excos. Thank you emmatrack. |
emmatrack:LOIs don't automatically translate to final selections so it may not necessarily automatically shoot the points up as they will all have to apply to the nominating provinces submitting supporting documents and also pay 1500$ in the case of Ontario and then wait to get selected for their 600 points to take effect. The lack of draw yesterday wiill be is a bigger factor for points increase. |
Topsmamen:Topsmamen, the list go long pass this one o. Na association remain make we form. The names in the quote along with you, newmum0615 and Ifeoma77 and other prominent seniors don automatically make Excos list . |
Didibibi:Please ma'am you can do well to reduce the page consumption we are currently experiencing on this thread by deleting some o the texts in your quoted message by simply deleting within the quoted area. You can start with this post. Just modify and delete some part of the quoted text just as you can see I did yours. The person you are quoting will still get your message loud and clear. |
Scandinavian02:Haq haq haq . You dunno warisgoinon. I want to believe our newbies have repented. Please let's prove @Scandinavian02 wrong . Use nairaland just as you use Google and avail yourself answers to queries using the search bar on the top and bottom of the page, you can select travel as the section you want to limit your search to so the answers can be more defined. I know for a fact that this journey can make us doubt ourselves so much that we will even like to crosscheck our names with people and want to hold it as validation that someone actually told us and the fact is not just what we read somewhere but please note that nairaland unlike Google gives people specific answers to queries that you have that someone else might have earlier had too. If after the search we don't get to see something valid on our questions, we can then ask and answers to this will then further creat a library, an example is the National Trade Certificate question asked not too long ago. Thanks ancestor @cochtrane for coming back to be with us. Happy new month all! |
ladymarshall:Thanks ma'am. PM duly received. I dey drink water dey jejely wait for your PPR script which we will be reading pretty soon . |
did you put over 30 hours per week

. He isn't saying he should get them done, he is saying it is part of the requisite documents to be uploaded and submitted post ITA. I pray against the spirit of confusion on this our thread o. VOs should better start dishing out PPRs so the tension here can be doused small
