Gather around my people.... It's COPR!!!!!!!

I have to mention @newmum0615, she is the real MVP. God bless you immensely. She helped with NOC because I picked the wrong one, tweaked every and without knowing me from Adam. I don't know how she does it but May Grace and Favor speak for you and yours. May your seeds be great and might forever... You are one in a billion.

The wait was horrible, I would like to say I waited with Grace but that would be a lie. There was a lot of tantrums and God whys! I didn't experience any delay during the verification/IELTS process but I learnt patience after AOR. My profile didn't change till the 18th of March when I woke up to the PPR Mail. then I logged into my account and saw: We are processing your background.. I looked at my phone, called hubby and went back to bed. I woke up and saw that some other people got PPR mail that same day but the worry and anxiety have robbed me of excitement. But now, ayam excited!

For two major life projects that I have done in my life, Nairaland has helped immensely, I hope Seun Osewa is immensely proud of what he has achieved and the fact that this forum hasn't been sold yet is a testimony to the fact that the guy is a real MVP, God bless you lots..

To anyone and everyone on this journey, I wish you God's speed, Favor, Grace and Patience...

@ifeoma, @wassey @joo2018 all you guys making greatness common on this thread, I appreciate you all, God bless you loads
Congratulations ma'am, thank God for your testimonies. May it only get better from here. @newmum0615, you are a pacesetter and may God continue to bless you for us, imagine o, she has graduated to the sister thread since o but she is still being of immense help to us on here. There is hardly a ppr script without her being mentioned . @ladymarshall, no be your week to mark PPR script be this?

Good morning everyone. I’m very new to nairaland but I was asked to join so as to get the right information about Canada express entry application process. I’m glad to be here in the midst of great minds.

I submitted my documents in Oct 2018, my passport validity at the time was 9months, when I didn’t hear from them in April which would make it 6months, I raised a CSE. In the CSE, I uploaded my new passport showing validity till 2024. Then I got an email saying I should send the famous 5, (pay slips, POF, schedule A, additional family info and statement of account). I’m working on getting these already.

My concern now is this- I’m a medical doctor, As at the time I applied in October, I was working at a private hospital but I quit the job in February 2019 so I could have time to study for Exams. In order to make money and feed myself, I work as a realtor part time, I’m asking if I should include this in the letter of explanation that I plan to attach to these famous 5 documents. Especially because working as a doctor and being a realtor are different. I have 2years and 5months full time work experience as a doctor
I think it won't be a bad idea to do that and as you stated it is a part time hustle and you ain't claiming points for the realtor job. I only feel it do be important to state to them your intention to continue practicing as soon as you get the exam over with that way they know you are not abandoning medicine for life. I will let my seniors also weigh in if they haven't don't that already. Seniors over to you all.

Good evening everyone. I’m new here and I just started the process. Currently, WES has sent my certificate and transcripts to my school for verification. UNN . I’m currently trying to pay for verification, I keep getting a message that the organization’s email cannot be verified. Has anyone experienced this? Please assist. Thank you
If I understand you correctly, you are trying to pay WES for verification, if that is the case then I must tell you there is no separate payment to WES for verification. If there is need to pay for verification it has to be to the school as I know some schools actually do charge verification fee.

Please while filling my e_pin/scratch card form I saw a column where it asked for my pin, what should I write as I can't scratch d card.
Examination Year
PIN Code (required) Serial Number (required)
To the best of my knowledge, you can now scratch the card and input in that column except you are planning to send it along with your WAEC transcript then I may say the form is not necessary but let @avidreader and those who are vast at this weigh in on the matter. I call shotgun on either @topsmamen or @ladymarshall. One of them go soon sama you with better reply

I don't think so. The yearly experience is measured in months not hours. So 30-40 hours for 12 months make a year experience or 2 part time jobs (15-20 hours each) for 12 months make up a year
Almighty ladymarshall, thank you so much for shedding more light to @stencil clarification. You and @topsmamen are number one on the list of selfless helpers currently on the group, followed closely by the regulars, they know themselves. Boss @wasseynewest, madam never conclude this our PPR gist. As leader wey you be others also had to put us in we will be back for details because your own gist never drop. Congrats to everyone and may this new sojourn favour y'all.
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 7 by majamisile: 6:32pm On Apr 09, 2019
Stencil:
IRCC counts 30+ as full time. Anything above that is still seen as "30"/Full time. That is why those who claim part time hours use that formula to calculate what the 30 hour/Full time equivalent would be.

So if you worked 60 hours a week for 12 months. You have One year experience, same as someone who worked 30 hours a week for 12 months.
Thanks for the clarification boss, so only hours less than 30hours will need to use the formula stated.
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 7 by majamisile: 12:42pm On Apr 09, 2019
Boss @Stencil, does this mean that those who claim 40hr/week work hours have more than 1 year work experience even if we have just done 12 months at a particular job? Then I would suggest s/he claims more hours from the recent job experience if she possible. Congratulations to all PPR and ITA clinchers, I hope to catch up to @wesseynewest PPR gist up front :-).
Stencil:
You need 36 months to claim 3 years. You have a little above 36 months from my calculations. I did this quickly so please crosscheck.
I did not check the educational requirements for each NOC. Please make sure you do you can claim these experiences.

The formula I used was [No of months x No of hours worked] ÷30 You can use this to calculate yourself.
PS: Divide by 12 to give you number of weeks.
