So I am finally back on the thread for good after such a long break in the month of July. AORed 4:40am on July 30 and now have my fingers crossed. Thanks to everyone who was of immense help pre ITA and pre AOR, special thanks to @topsmamen, the man with the heart of gold, @ladymarshall, the boss lady herself and @joo2018. God bless you all. Please I need join my July people for the group wey dem don creat o. Please you guys should do well to PM me on how to join July AOR group biko. In other news, newbies please and please do well to do a search of whatever questions you have bothering you. This can be done by using the search box provided on the top and bottom of the page. Questions can then be asked if you do not get satisfactory answers from doing this. Also when quoting anyone, let us do well to reduce some of content of the quoted texts. Doing this will reduce the pace at which pages are being exhausted on the thread and make it even easier to navigate and catch up incase one was away for a while for inevitable reasons. I wan celebrate my PPR for this season o biko. God bless us all! |
ladymarshall:The enforcer of the eight kingdoms herself and a psychologist per excellence, you just are a big mind reader. Getting all the documents together has really not been difficult but it hasn't been a bed of roses either. I am working seriously on getting back fully on the thread as soon as possible. Can't wait for your PPR sincerely. |
Topsmamen:Boss I dey here o. My head has been turnioinown in the past month that I always fall behind by several pages on the thread and catching up has not been easy. I will be back as soon as I click that submit button in some few days time. Thank you for standing by us through and through. Your kind is rare . |
FaskRolce:Same here o. I lowkey miss his well broken down and thought out analysis to issues and queries as it relates to this journey. I'm very sure he will be back with us soon. Relocation plans could indeed be overwhelming. |
Hephgirl:Congrats @hephgirl, your AOR date now explains it all . So team @topmamen and @ifeoma77 una no get anything to fear again o . May the journey be smoother from here forward. Enjoy Maple land. |
Pardon my ignorance, she is indeed the queen o. About the transfer, e go make sense o as na there we go read 'boring' landing gist . The people for that thread go just dey wonder wetin dey happen . Abeg @ifeoma77 my popcorn don dey cold o and na 'guguru' I buy so person no go fit microwave am.yemblaze: |
Ifeoma77:Ifeoma don land o . @yemblaze where are the shekere models na. No be only PPR gist we need shekere for o and besides remember she is our shekere Princess. All the best on your new sojourn ma'am. Make I go book space for sister thread dey wait landing gist. Grabs popcorn . |
ladymarshall:The Marshall of this our beautiful thread herself, I really am very grateful. Thank you so much for your help thus far. You are flexing in your country of residence o, we no see time to go on fun trips for this our Buhari yard. Hope the trip was refreshing? I am glad you at least took a breather from this EE wait as it could be exhausting. I pray everyday and know that your wait for the golden ticket won't be long. Trust me to still be in your pm to reconfirm my full name . God bless you ma'am. |
yemblaze:Abeg no vex for me. Na the moniker dey cause confusion. It means 'no leave me behind' for yoruba. Thank you for all you do here too. I always look forward to your sexy shekere dancers. ![]() |
Na bro o ma'am. Amen and amen to your prayers. Thank you for coming to be a key player in Season 8. chicyclass: |
Arosam:Way to go boss. Please don't miss it in your personal history section o. It has to come up there and you don't have to be scared of any verification whatsoever. Godspeed boss! |
Ifeoma77:OG Ancestors, you go fear list o. Shuuuuuuuu |
Arosam:This doesn't matter bro. The paper works involved in claiming self employed no be here o. Better you go for the 3 years work experience as an employee as @topsmamen has adviced since that is enough to give you the requisite 50points which is the maximum by the way. Your personal history will make them know you are now a CEO and a LOE explaining that part of your POF came from your current business is enough to settle things. Your claiming your CEO position wouldn't change much. Just ensure that your current role as a CEO reflects clearly in your personal history. All the best boss. |
Topsmamen:It won't be a small matter o . Wish her all the best in the rest of the journey. |
chicyclass:Thanks a lot sis. You really cause frenzy for the thread with your IELTS success announcement . Congrats on that once again. Looking forward to hearing your ITA announcement in the coming draw. |
Debsify:Thanks ma'am. I really am very grateful . |
Topsmamen:Hahaha . Una no fit leave me behind o. Thanks so so much boss. God bless!! |
urblackpearl:My exact thoughts too. But on this journey time is of the essence. Who knew two months ago that we would be contending with a draw as high as 470. If all he needs to do is to get the bearest minimum to increase the score she can always continue to persuade him so he can write ASAP, but if he has written before and he would need to max out on spousal point I feel waiting till July when he will be psychologically ready will be the best way to go. Hopefully, the coming draws will have come down below 460 before he enrols for the exam. British council and IDP no worth make we dey gift dem money anyhow with how them dey do us for Writing module of their exam .cc:@gnomic5 |
That which has seemed elusive in the past weeks don finally drop o. I am grateful to everyone who have been of great help to me leading to this moment. My vote of thanks when PPR finally drop go surely long pass third mainland bridge. Na now the proper disturbing go start o as I no go like miss road. Abeg if I pm dey ask to reconfirm my name make una no vex for me o, na as the matter take be. I will be in a lot of PMs soon. Congrats to all ITA recipients though IRCC no allow make we plenty as we dey hope . For every other ITA faithfuls I pray that the score continues to drop drastically. We shall all slowly but surely get there . |
mobenjackson:There is really no way we can get to know that. But you can check through the occupation in demand pages for these provinces. You just don't know where the NOI will come from. Also ensure you tick all provinces as places you do like to settle in. |
whoknew:Na NOIs na, nomination time for each individual sent NOI varies. But we all are hopeful just as you are. Score gats at least enter 450sth back o. All the best to all ITA faithfuls!! |
mobenjackson:Spot on boss. What Mamaroon was trying to explain was that you should select the NOC which you feel is a top NOC in demand by popular provinces between the two as your primary NOC so as to stand a bigger chance of being nominated by a province. You may not bother about that if you have a very high CRS with your combined work experience. |
dezzydon:Congratulations ma'am, may Maple land favour you and yours. Just when I was yearning for more PPRs on the thread, yours came through. May this mark the beginning of PPR showers on our lovely thread. |
Long time no PPR on this our thread o. What could be the reason for this na? I pray the incoming week comes with a lot of PPR news as I no fit wait to read PPR stories o, I know our distinguished markers are also itching to mark scripts .We shall all rejoice |
Good morning everyone, please I just want to call our attention to the recent trend of making request on the thread when the party that wants to be of help has thrown their PM open for us to make such request. @chicyclass has promised to make the IDP material available to as many people who sends her a PM and I'm sure she said so because she doesn't want our thread to be clogged up with requests causing the thread to move faster than normal. Imagine being away from the thread for a bit and coming back to meet pages of unread messages and on opening the pages find out they are requests that could have been made in the PM. If you are new to nairaland and haven't sent someone a PM before, your first PM to the recipient will be a generic message asking for permission for you to PM them and this goes directly to their email, the recipient will then reply you from their email and you also get the reply on your registered nairaland email and communications can continue from there going forward. @topsmamen has also given details on how we can cut out some text when we are quoting a post to avoid quoted texts from taking up a lot of page space. Congrat once again @chicyclass. We will all definitely celebrate eventuarry . |
Topsmamen:Boss I saw that when I reread his post and had to apologize to prettiepearlz. I was too quick on my keypad. We all need to do better and be explicit enough when we drop a post on the thread. Thank you so much for not porting to the sister thread and leaving us to it . |
Prettiepearlz:My apologies ma'am. On second look, I felt the way you felt too. He needed to have been explicit enough especially for people who don't try to catch up with the thread to know developing stories and just pick it up from the last page. My sincere apologies once again. |
Prettiepearlz:Please go back and read the developing story. S/he didn't conclude that WES doesn't receive certificates via fax anymore but was attending to a peculiar situation specifically because someone sent proof from WES that statement of results that has result breakdown on them has to come directly from the school and might not be accepted via fax. If you had followed the developing story you would have understood better. |
Bubblefairy:I don't know if this will work but I will like someone else to confirm if it would as I feel pained this has been delaying you for a while. I have heard of people who get to send their correctly sealed transcript on behalf of the school and were instructed to use their school's address as sender's address instead of using their personal details so WES receives the envelope like it was sent directly from their school and I guess they were successful. You can also try this if you will get to courier the SOR to WES yourself as the school as refused. If the wait to get certificate won't take too long, I would advise this will be the best route. So sorry for the setback, you will eventually be fine. |
Daybour1:Johnnybravo doing the Lord work since POF complete April 2019. God continue to increase you Sir. Congratulations bro, na real man you be, 10 TIME |
Now that I am all caught up, i do like to just state something that could be of help to someone out there. Please try to tick all provinces as a potential settlement province if you haven't done that already on your EE profile especially if your CRS is a bit below current draws as it seems the latest style of provinces is to pick directly from the pool. We saw that with NOIs dished out by Alberta some weeks ago, Ontario some days ago and I just recently learnt that Nova Scotia did same for 'Early Child Educators' just yesterday. It is important to note that this has never been Nova Scotia's style as they previously operated the first come first served style. We don't know which province may decide to do that next and the NOC they might be interested in. I wish us all the best. Hope we all are enjoying the holiday? |
Jennypharb1:I guessed right yipee . See why they may want to overbill. Being a notary is not that easy be that o. I'm in Lagos ma'am, thanks a lot for the help. I definitely will be in your pm if I have any bottlenecks. Thanks alot ma'am. |

. So team @topmamen and @ifeoma77 una no get anything to fear again o
