Ahead of the 2023 poll, scores of Arewa media influencers yesterday pledged to woo no fewer than 10 million voters for the presidential candidate of the All progressive congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed
Tinubu.
The group national secretary, Mr Shuaibu Abdullahi at a press conference in Abuja remarked that his group would leave no stone unturned in ensuring the victory of Tinubu in the 2023 presidential poll.
He noted: “As of today, we have at least 10 million followers both online and offline. We all know the importance of the media in the north. We have been educating our people to come out and vote for APC.
That is why the party became victorious in the 2015 and 2019 general elections.”
He expressed gratitude to Mr Seyi Tinubu for calming frayed nerves among his members who were under the impression that they had been sidelined from the activities of the APC presidential campaign council.
He added: “Out grievances had been settled by Seyi after he showed us the campaign blueprint. We are fully ready to continue the good work we have been doing for the APC since 2025.
“We must also express our appreciation to Seyi Tinubu, Governors Mai Mala Buni, Abubakar Badaru, and Abubakar Bagudu for their timely intervention.
Now the problem is solved. We are ready to carry the Tinubu /Shettima campaign to the next level.”
