This post is completely misleading. Abeg where u de buy jeans for 1k, rent for 4k. The thing with the US is that they make standards compulsory meaning that u may not necessarily see low quality at low prices. The standard of houses that are 900$, are lekki standard. Abeg go price went for lekki!!!

Your US Average professional monthly salary is for which profession and which city? Even Janitors in the U.S. collect more than twice that amount. If that salary figure is correct, it must be in a remote rural area in the U.S. where $900 can rent you a mansion per month.

e.g..Average minimum wage in the U.S. is about $9/hr (some States are more). This is wages for someone that has no education....e.g. a laborer, a factory worker, office cleaner, officer messenger, etc....

That is $1,440/month = N288,000.00/month......minimum wage in 9ja is about N18,000.00/month.

Now, use these wages to adjust the cost you enumerated above.

I'll love to see where $900 a month can get you a mansion.. Also minimum wage doesn't mean its people without education. Some with bachelors degree still Lives on minimum wage.. (I know a lot of people living with this) In new jersey one bedroom apartment is about $800-$1500 or you can get same at $300-$500 in places live asbury park, Trenton where murder rate, drug abuse etc is high. Phone bill depends starting from $30-$250/month depending on network used and extra services added. I currently pay $150/month on T-Mobile. Car insurance $60-$400/month depending on coverage, type of car and the driver. Feeding, internet (I pay $100 a month for internet, landline and TV service). Petrol? I use g35 and that costs me about $100 a week.

Now how will someone on minimum wage afford not to live paycheck to paycheck?

You actually don't need your High school transcript again since you are currently/ previously took class at a college. As long as you have taken more than 12credit, it's ok

If you actually need your High school transcript, it takes time and money. Plus you ain't even In Nigeria

yea i know that, thats why i was bugging when ocean.edu requested for one because i have $14,000+ in combined FA, pell grant and scholarship and they insisted i must get it... i just had to transfer from general engineering to chemical engineering as im seeking to go to texas to study petroleum engr

and i cant afford that time to evaluate as im about to get my associate

You can use your CC transcript after you grad there and i dont think you will be ask for high school result again if i am not wrong..

Explain to school it seems you asked for financial aid and that's why they asking for high school stuff, open up to them that you are about to graduate in your CC.. Is better you graduate first before doing this

i need to graduate from CC before transferring as im doing associate without graduating i can't get a degree. but considering the time this came up plus i can't really depend on WAEC to send that result and get it evaluated before sept 1st (deadline for registration) i transferred to another CC BCC.edu got accepted, transfered my Financial aid and scholarships and im done with registration.

you ask your relative or someone in Nigeria to go to waec office for you and help you out but you will pay almost or above 20k doing this although i am not sure of the actual amount.

Since you said you are based in usa, are you attending CC there cos you said you are about to graduate then why dont you use the result of the school you are about to graduate to apply and evaluate the transcript?
