Hello Man SOP - Statement of Purpose An SOP is a letter addressed to the Visa Officer where the applicant talks about the purpose of why he/she is going to study in Canada. Points explained will dwell on 1. How the advanced study complements past academics and how it will brighten up the future career scope. 2. Financial capability of the applicant to finance studies & living costs, 3 Why Canada 4. Why the particular program and why the particular institution.. e.t.c An SOP is applicable to both the first Time applicants and returning Applicants.. LOE - Letter of Explanation An LOE is a letter by the applicant addressed to the Visa Officer explaining what went wrong in previous applications and on what ground it was rejected. How those issues are addressed in the present application. An LOE is mostly for applicants that are re-applying (after their visa has been rejected in past) where they will explain how they have been able to address the concerns of the Visa Officer in the past (refused) application. An LOE is applicable mostly to applicants who are re-applying or 1st-time applicants whose case is complicated.. Peace ManLikeB: |
Hello Aaron Yes they do.. Even after submitting your passport, they still do like a final check to make sure everything is on deck as regards the application before stamping the Visa on the Passport... aaron34: |
Hello Opsy IRCC do not request for Police Certificate, even though its part of the required documents but not a compulsory document.. We have seen many applicants here getting their Visas without submitting Police certificate.. Peace Opsy14: |
Of course.. lilylurv: |
Hello Gennyoma The validity of a SOA is 2 weeks before submission.. i.e The printout of your SOA must not exceed 2 weeks before you submit it with your application... On the other hand, why cant you do MBS, that will have an updated copy of your SOA.. MBS is preferable to the printout for many reasons... But which ever one works for you, its fine.. Peace Gennyoma19: |
Send your Passport with other required documents, your passport will still get stamped.. You can send your BVL in replacement of your Biometrics slip... Peace CalcreteJB: |
I can see rain of PPRs, IRCC is really doing early Christmas give away for this family... For those still expecting, don't worry your give away isn't far from you.. It will all end in praise.. Peace |
Hello Kenthro These are the list of documents you are required to submit Biometrics slip 2 copies of data page International Passport A copy of the passport request letter Transmission fee receipt (If you are submitting to Abuja VFS) 2 copies of the consent form You will need to put these documents in an envelope.. Peace Kenthro: |
Hello Ikechi There are only 2 IRCC approved Medical centers i.e IOM and Qlife.. And they are both in Lagos and Abuja.... You will need to travel down to these states to do your Medicals... Peace Ikechi12: |
In addition to the bolded, For those that do not have the Biometrics paper again, your submission of your BVL(the immediate document that drops before your Original passport Letter) will do.. Peace Omiinii: |
Okay, well noted.. kemmyk: |
You are welcome... In addition, below is the list of documents you will need to submit to get your Visa stamped... 2 copies of data page International Passport A copy of the passport request letter Transmission fee receipt 2 copies of the consent form You will need to put these documents in an envelope.. Peace EstherAda92: |
Hello Esther 1. You can actually get your Visa stamped without submitting the biometrics slip , you just have to submit other documents that they require.. Kemmyk, you can see why I earlier posted that you should tell the house how you got your passport stamped without Bimotrics slip, cos I know many people will still ask this question... 2. Your Visa expires a year after it has been stamped on your PASSPORT.. And your Passport hasn't been stamped yet, and this is October, meaning you are safe.. You would have left Nigeria before it expires Next Year OCTOBER OR NOVEMBER depending on when your Passport will be stamped... Peace EstherAda92: |
Hello Kemmy Congrats.. I will like you to share with the house how you got your Passport stamped without submitting your Biometrics Slip.. i.e the documents you submitted and also the process. There will be many applicants in your shoe that may have misplaced their Biometrics slip, so your input on this will be helpful for applicants in this category... Peace kemmyk: |
A whole First bank doesn't have MBS? Ok then, print your SOA from the time you applied for the Visa till the date you will be replying IRCC.. Make sure the transaction in the SOA you submitted with your application reflect in this new SOA you will be printing out.. In addition, get a reference letter and written letter from the bank duly signed and stamped to show the authenticity of the Bank account and SOA Peace praiseb: |
Hello Praise Like IRCC has said, you need to be truthful in your reply to them.. Since you claim you didn't use an agent, you do not have anything to fear.. You just have to strategically convince them of your innocence.. You can send an MBS of 1 year of the affected bank to them, probably from the day you applied till date. You can as well submit to IRCC your Ticket Id of the affected bank account so they can see for themselves that truly the Bank statement isn't fraudulent... Like I said, if truly you didn't use an agent, and that the SOA is real and not fraudulent, then you have nothing to worry about... You just have to explain things to them with evidence/proofs But if you are not able to convince them, then your approval will turn to a Ban... Act fast and respond.. Peace praiseb: |
Hello Gloria Do not give up cos it's not over until you win... As our custom is on this thread, order for your GCMS notes so we can know the specific reasons why your application was refused... What you uploaded here are just generic refusal reasons that do not paint the real picture of your refusal... Once your GCMS is ready, drop it here.. Many wonderful peeps here would advise you on the steps to take to get your Visa in your next application... Peace Gloriarchibong: |
Hello theForth I honestly have quite a number of SOPs and LOEs whose applicants have committed me to work on... If it's not urgent, you can send it to me, when I am done with this group of SOPs/LOEs, I will jump on yours... Peace theForth: |
Hello CalcretejB You have done Justice to the Monikers query.. Weldone. CalcreteJB: |
Hello theForth If you finished with a 1st class and also 2:1, you can apply to so many Canadian Universities offering Computer Science, and you can be lucky to get Full study scholarship.. Below are the best Universities in Canada to study MSc Computer Science University of Toronto. University of Waterloo. University of British Columbia. University of Montreal. University of Alberta. McGill University. Simon Fraser University. McMaster University. If you finished with a 2:2 or 3rd class, you can go For PGD in Computer Science from any of the Ontario Colleges.. Peace theForth: |
Hello Mr Canada You can go ahead with your application, so far you meet the requirement of the school as regards that course, your admission will be given you.. And as per your Visa application, you will have to convince the Visa officer on what you have been doing in your 18 years Gap(You need serious work here).. Your age isn't a problem, as we have seen 44 year old here getting Visa, so far you are able to convince the Visa Officer that you are a genuine student, your Visa will be granted.. Peace canada2022: |
Hello Yur You said you have been working as a nurse and at the same time you have Jobs in sales and teaching, this is kind of confusing.. Please what do you do at the moment, that will determine the course you will apply for to get your PGD.. And if your Intl Relation degree is less than 5 years, then you can apply for a PGD in Intl, Relations.. Peace Peace YurFav: |
Hello Mode This looks like a Red flag to me already, but before I conclude, lemme ask some questions.. How old is the person? What has the person been doing since 2009(year of Waec)? What is his reason for going for a Bsc and not a PGD or Masters at this stage of his life? For someone that has done Waec since 2009 and now going for Bsc? Its well. I await your response.. Peace ModelLook: |
Hello Gbemi Seen and replied TheGbemisola: |
Hello Omiini At bolded ![]() You didn't state when your Eligibility started, but since you have drawn their attention to your application through your constant emails. Give them some space for about a week or two.. If you do not get any update including ghost updates, then you can continue your mails again.. But I believe they are on your case now.. Peace Omiinii: |
I dunno why applicants keep asking these questions.. Lets understand there is no specific timeline when it comes to IRCC Visa application... Some applicants can get a final decision of their application a month after applying, while some get final decision after a year of applying.. As I was going through some posts this morning, I saw an applicant who applied September and has already gotten his/her PPR, whereas I have seen here of applicants that have applied since last year and have not gotten any final decision... Just apply and hope for the best, and when your application is way passed the Processing time, then u have every right to send them as many mails as possible until you get an update on your application... So please lets stop asking how long, how long, cos no one really knows how long... Even the Visa officers do not know how long.. It will end in praise.. Peace Romoke1995: |
Be calm, it will be updated to Pass in days time.. Peace eleraaa: |
Hello Raimiade Yes it is normal.. Keep sending them mails at least 5 times daily, keep drawing their attention to the fact that your school resumption is getting close and you need a final decision for you to adequately prepare... Be polite with your write up.. Send to Nairobi, Lagos, London and maybe Accra.... Lastly your subject should be URGENT PLEASE.. Peace raimiade11: |

Hello Dolly There is no problem with that, but the sponsor needs to state this in his letter of sponsorship that he actually sent the school fees into her account.. She must also state this in her SOP/LOE.. Peace dollymon: |
Hello Ominni In my years on this thread and also with my experience with the study permit application process, reversing a ban is something I have not come across. Before Canada issues a BAN to an applicant they would have sent a document called PROCEDURAL FAIRNESS LETTER(PFL) to explain an issue raised about the application that may lead to a ban, and the applicant is given some days to explain to IRCC of his/her innocence with proofs to back the claims... In the case of that moniker and like I said in my reply to his post, his agent would have done something wrong for the application to have warranted a Ban... I am sure a PFL would have been sent to him, but since the agent was hiding him from his application, he wasn't aware of what was going on with his application... We all know how these agents operate, they tend to hide the applicant from their application until when the application is refused before the applicant would be aware... It's possible the said moniker is innocent, but he should ask his agent questions, he has done something very wrong.. Canada can't just issue a Ban for no reason. Before a Ban comes, a PROCEDURAL FAIRNESS LETTER would have been sent to the applicant, that is the procedure.. That is why we preach here to applicants not to use these agents, now he has gotten a BAN, the agent business continues. He will be the one to suffer for this... It's unfortunate though.
