You didn't do anything wrong and you got a 5 YEARS BAN? Bro you used an agent for God's sake, ask your agent what he did wrong, ask him if he submitted fake documents. I am sure IRCC would have sent you PFL before this ban, but your agent hid it from you, which has resulted in your 5 year Ban.. You may not do something wrong, but trust me your so-called agent has done many things wrong without you knowing... Peace Xydami: |
Hello Xydami First, Canada does not conduct interviews.. Your SOP / LOE will speak for you to the Visa Officer in your absence.. Second, Yes it's possible... It's only applications that are on the route of approval that gets a Medical request. Peace Xydami: |
Hello Raimiade These are just the normal automated emails from IRCC.. And to the bolded, so far your application has passed the IRCC Processing time, sending too many mails or webform shouldn't negatively affect your application.. In addition, we have read here of many applicants who testify of them getting updates as a result of the numerous mails they have sent to IRCC... It will end in praise.. Peace raimiade11: |
Hello Kelchy Guess you would have gotten responses to your query, but lemme chip in one or two things,, Yes, your Uncle can be your sponsor... Even though Uncles/Aunts are considered 3rd Party sponsors, but in your case, the Visa Officer won't see him as a 3rd party sponsor, the reason is that he has shouldered the responsibility of taking care of you right from when you lost your parents as a little gurl.. He took care of your education right from when you were a child till when you left his house to get Married.... So he is more or less your parent... So making him your sponsor is so on point. What you will just need to do is to state all these in your application so the Visa Officer can know he has been your "Father figure" since the demise of your parents.. You can attach your previous school fees receipts or any other beneficial expenses he would have made on you in the past, I am sure you have pictures of both of you, attach as many as possible... Your uncle in his Letter of sponsorship should also state how he has been sponsoring you since when you were a child and how he is ready and committed to sponsor you to Canada just the way he has been doing for so many years. If you do your homework well, you should have a problem with your application as regards sponsorship.. And to your statement of account, it's, not compulsory for an applicant to submit SOA, we have seen many applicants here stating in their timeline that they didn't submit their SOA and they still got approved. So if you wanna submit it, good. If not, fine.. It's only compulsory for Self-sponsored applicants to submit their Statement Of Account... Peace kelchy: |
Hello Slyview Do you wanna know more about nairaland or you wanna know more about the process of applying for a Canadian Study permit application? If it's the Later, then you will do yourself some good by reading this thread from the 1st page, and if you have any questions you can drop them here, knowledgable peeps here will give answers to your questions.. Peace Slyview: |
Hello Naira Ghost update is simply getting an email notification that there is an update in your account, whereas no update of any kind when getting into your account.. Peace nairagrounds: |
Hello Toceen It's possible a younger sibling can be a sponsor to an elder sibling, it's just a rare occurrence. Peace Toceen2022: |
Sure you can.. But make sure the new program is either related to your 1st degree program or your work(business) Peace Tre20: |
Hello honeycandy You do not need to fidget over this, be calm. Since your school has said no sit available till Fall of next year, there is no issue about that. Go ahead and submit your Passport for stamping and don't be in a rush about it unlike how most peeps here are always in a rush to get their Passport back , in your case you have enough time. The reason for this is because the same date your Passport is stamped is the same date it will expire next year, meaning the Visa is valid for a year... So when you get your passport back, make sure you leave the country before the Visa expires.. Do not change your course, remember you have already Sugar-coated the Visa officer in your SOP why you wanna study the course you chose. And you know the schools give reports to IRCC of all international students in Canada, so that IRCC can know the status of the students if truly there are studying in the school that was in their study permit application and also the course. So play safe and stay patient... You will have enough time to prepare and also save a reasonable amount before finally leaving the country. Peace honeycandy: |
Hello Flesh IRCC doesn't send PPR to your email, what you will get in your email is a notification that your account has been updated prompting you to go check your account where you will see PPR sitting pretty cool in your account like a boss... Peace Fleshofmankind1: |
Any time you want, it doesn't really matter... The clinics will send the result to IRCC Afterall.. Peace eclint: |
Hello Omini Father, Mother, Husband, Wife, and Elder blood siblings are considered the sponsors expected for an applicant by IRCC... Any other person is considered a 3rd party sponsor... Peace Omiinii: |
Hello raimiade I understand you very well.. Like I said earlier, wait and be hopeful for a positive Final decision for your application. If you have not gotten any update as regards your application after the processing time, then you can start sending them Mails.. It will end in praise Peace raimiade11: |
Hello Raimiade First, its not compulsory you have 2 sponsors for an application especially when the Co-sponsor doesn't have the required funds for your study and also the expenses in Canada . In your case, your brother(hope its your blood brother though) can just be your sponsor, since your dad doesn't have money in his account according to you. Your focus should be on your main sponsor which is your brother, but since you have submitted your application, leave it like that... Do not submit any other thing until when IRCC ask for any document.. I want to believe you were able to convince the Visa officer that your brother is very capable of sponsoring your study in Canada, its not about the money now but about how well he (your brother) showed his commitment in your application.. In addition, its not compulsory an applicants submits his SOA, with the exception that the applicant is a self sponsored applicant.. So there is no red flag in you not submitting your SOA.. It will end in praise.. Peace raimiade11: |
Hello Malone No, it cant Even when you have high BP in the clinic, they will advise you come back when your BP is normal.. High BP is never a reason to fail Medicals.. Peace Malone122: |

Hello Josh This totally depends on you though.. You can apply as a family since you have kids, but the chances are slim.. You can apply alone, get to Canada and apply for spousal permit for your Wife and Visiting Visa for your Kids... You have more chances of approval with this, and this is what most married couples in this thread do.. I can see you have assets in your Home country and also you are financially okay.. So it will make sense to apply alone and use your family members as strong home ties and also you can state in your SOP/LOE that your Wife will be managing your properties while you are away in Canada studying..... And when you get to Canada and you have your Study Permit, your SIN and other vital documents, you can then apply for spousal permit fo ryour Wife and Visiting Visa for your Kids to come join you... If you package your application well and also choose a course that is closely related to your Work experience, I see you getting your Visa... Peace Josh121: |
Hello Jioke These are questions you can easily get answers yourself from the first page of this thread and also from google... Peace Jioke1994: |
Okay.. Would check and respond.. Ronsfav: |
Yea, its possible. But on the condition that the applicant have to be in active study for at least a semester with the DLI he/she used in applying for a study permit application after which the applicant will have to do a transfer after informing IRCC... Peace Malone122: |
Hello Henriie Its the policy of most schools in Canada that it is only a refusal that qualifies for a refund.. You should have read this in the refusal policy of the school before making the payment to the school... It will be a hard nut to get back your refund since you have not gotten a refusal and also you didn't apply with the school.... If you had mentioned this earlier before you withdrew your admission, I would have advised you not to withdraw yet until when you have a refusal letter.. You would just use that as the perfect reason to withdraw your admission and at the same time apply for a refund.. But since you have already withdrawn your admission... Once you get a refusal letter, you can as well upload the refusal letter to them that you have been refused, and you want a refund of your money... Maybe that will work, cos they wont know if you used their LOA to apply or not, except you have already informed them, which I hope you have not... But if you get an approval, then I am afraid you will have no solid reason for a refund.. I will suggest you send a mail to the MP in the province where the said school is located, lets see what the MP can do.. Meanwhile I don't wanna assume you will be praying for a refusal from IRCC cos of the refund... Peace Henriie: |
Ok Cool.. I thought you were fully Vaccinated... Wish you the best in your new home... Peace Lianna2020: |
Congrats to your family Lianna Wanna ask a quick question, for the Quarantine plan (14 days at Airbnb), were you not fully Vaccinated In Nigeria before leaving? I have this believe that once one is fully Vaccinated in your home country, you don't need to quarantine again in Canada... Anticipating your response... Peace Lianna2020: |
Its not a good thing at all.. One thing that can lead to a refusal after PPR is FRAUD... Fake financial documents, fake passport, falsified information and all.. The person you talked about didn't probably follow up simply because he or she knows his/her application has some fake documents e.t.c.. If you submit a clean application, there is no how you will get a refusal after PPR... Peace Lianna2020: |
Hello shempam You don't expect I put my digits on a faceless platform as this... Meanwhile hit my DM so I can send it to you via mail.. Peace shempam: |
And what was the reason for the rejection, you should back up your claims with fact... Its easy for anyone to just come here and say you can be rejected after PPR.. Final decision Your application was approved. You need to send us your valid passport to finalize your application. Check your messages below for details The above message is what you get when Original Passport request drops in your profile.. Meaning for you to get that, it shows you have met the IRCC requirement to study in Canada.. So getting a refusal after PPR is totally the applicant's fault and not IRCC, probably the applicant submitted a fake or falsified Passport, account statement et.c. Its not in the operation of IRCC to refuse an application they have taken months to review before granting approval for a study permit... Peace Lianna2020: |
You welcome Temmy... Wish you the best in Marple land.. Peace Temmyturpeh: |
Congrats Kemmy, remember I told you yesternight to watch your back that your PPR will drop.. It has ended in praise.. Below is the link of my post to you yesterday night.. https://www.nairaland.com/6719291/canadian-student-visa-thread-part/385#106857770 Peace kemmyk: |
Hello Sweet Note: Before IRCC can send an applicant PPR, they would have done their thorough check and investigation to see if truly the applicant meets the IRCC immigration requirements of a study permit Visa.. Meaning, for IRCC to send an Applicant a Passport request, it shows the application has been approved... You cannot be rejected after PPR except you submit a fake Passport or you robb a bank and you are caught.. Peace SweetJJ: |
Hello Temmy So far its the same DLI you applied with that gave you the LOA, It may not be necessary sending them your new LOA. If it were to be an LOA from another DLI, then it will be required of the applicant to inform IRCC even after the applicant have been approved, and this will result in the applicant applying for another study permit application.... But make sure you hold it with you when traveling(together with your receipt of payment of school fees, that is if you have paid though), this is very important because you will be asked several times en-route Canada.. But if you feel like sending it, no crime in doing so... Congrats and wish you the best in the great white north... Peace Temmyturpeh: |
With your question, Lemme throw back a question to you... What do you understand by PPR? Peace Jay316: |
Hello KingofAfrica There is nothing wrong with your application, as we still have peeps with a year applciation still awiating Final decision.. And to the bolded, Yes its possible for one to still get refused after Passing a Medical request, but its rare.. Peace KingofAfrica: |
