Hello Jay316 For your 1st question, the Immigration Minister of Canada will be in the right position to give you answers on that... For your second question, Passports are not stamped in Nairobi, they are only responsible for reviewing the Eligibility of applicants and also making final decisions..... Its stamped in the local Visa office of the country of the applicant, which is either Lagos or Abuja in our case... Peace Jay316: |
Hello Kidsister I will advise you defer your resumption day to Spring or Fall 2022 cos it will take the grace of God for you to get a decision before January.... Peace Kidsister13: |
Hello Kemmy Mails or no mails, a final decision has already been made for your application.. Watch your back. its dropping soon... Peace kemmyk: |
Hello Temmyturpeh 1. When was your passport stamped ? 2. When was your LOA given you? 3. When is your new resumption date? Your answers to these questions will guide me to give you precised answers.. peace Temmyturpeh: |
No, abuja doesn't handle Nigeria applications... To know the IRCC office handling your application, you will have to order your GCMS... Peace onyinyeehC: |
Hello Tre20 BVL - Biometrics Validity Letter If you previously submitted biometrics to IRCC for a visa application, you will get a BVL letter before receiving your final decision for your application.. It will appear in your GCkey account as "Correspondence Letter". Peace Tre20: |
Hello Anon This is not totally correct.. Nairobi is handles 90% of Nigerian applications and not all.. London also handles Nigeria applications... ACCRA AND LAGOS use to handle Nigeria applications, before Nairobi and also London took over.. And also there is something like Primary and Secondary office. For you to know, pick up any GCMS notes, you will see a primary and Secondary office in the Note.. Peace Anon123: |
Hello HOC You didn't state the year you had your HND degree... But if it is many years back, I will advise you chose a course that relates with your Job, i,e any Business development course,.. Peace HOC189: |
Nice one Youngman Youngman911: |
Hello AOGOGBEM We cant help you as no one of us is an IRCC official or prime minister... We can just advise you on what to do.. Do what others with delayed applications are doing and back it up with prayer.. Peace AOROGBEM: |
Hello gaduchendu You are not yet in Canada, you are already instructing Visa officer... Lets note that Visa officer/IRCC reps or agents are very much aware of this thread, in fact they are on this thread but silent. I remember a case in 2018 0r 2019(cant really remember the year) of a moniker that was suspected to be an IRCC agent with the accurate and precised response the moniker was giving applicants.. Once he says there will be a final decision for May applicants or June applicant tomorrow for instance , we will witness rain of approvals and refusals that same day he mentioned for the said applicants only.. He was that accurate... His posts and accurate information made us suspicious of him to be an IRCC agent, before he was blocked by the Moderator.. So please let us be mindful of how we talk and post against the Visa officers.. It is their country and they have every right to do whatever they wanna do... All you applicants can do is to pray and hope their decision fall in your favour.. Peace gaduchendu: |
Hello Jay246 The most important thing is for you to do your medicals before the deadline, and do not worry your self about the submission.. The clinic will def submit it, also you can submit to IRCC immediately you are given the slip, you can do that with your phone scanner and send tto them via Email and Webform.. So you have nothing to worry about.. Meanwhile are you a Twin to Jay316? Peace Jay246: |
Hello ohizzy Is there anything to show you have registered for CAC? You will need to submit that, since you do not have your CAC yet.. Also submit the transaction receipts of the sales of the gadgets and your personal statement of account that will reflect these transactions.. Your SOP should be constructive and convincing in your next application.. Once your GCMS is out, do not hesitate to drop it.. Peace ohizzy: |
Hello Dimeji Have you informed your school of your PPR? Inform them of your PPR so they can defer you to a nearer resumption date.. If they are still not ready to give you admission despite your PPR, then send a message to IRCC about the situation on ground as this isnt your fault at all.. Send a message to IRCC if your school still refuses... Wait for a message from IRCC before taking any step.. They can tell you to get another another LOA from another school with same course with your PPR, since the fault wasn't really from you but from them... Peace Dimeji0822: |
Contact your bank's customer care.. They are in the best position to help with your Card.. Peace Iffylove: |
Hello Dimeji If you are a first time applicant, SOP is enough to convince the Visa Officer that you are a genuine student that wanna study in Canada// If you are a returning applicant, you will need to write an LOE to tackle the refusal reasons of concerns of the Visa Officer.. So Yes, as a second time applicant, you will need to submit both.. Peace Dimeji0822: |
Hello Henriie If you are in Canada, it is very compulsory to attend the school you used to get your Study permit Visa before applying for a change in DLI.. If you do the bolded, be prepared to be deported back to Nigeria cos schools give reports to IRCC of the status of all International students studying in their institution, so once a school reports you to IRCC that you are yet to resume even though you are already in Canada, then be prepared to be sent back to your country by IRCC... And you know what this means.. So play safe by obeying their rules.. Peace Henriie: |
Honourable Teemenzo Nice Job you doing... Weldone But the said Moniker at age 20 may not necessarily have a Job or personal and financial assets, except he is a Yahoo Boy.. So his home tie may not necessarily look weak at that tender age... In Nigeria, how many 20 year olds are working, so him not having a Job isn't a problem, he is still young... And I believe the VO wont have issues with that.. He didn't mention which degree he is going for maybe Bsc, PGD or Masters.. I don't know if he has been refused or his application is still on.. At age 20 without a Job, his home ties can be his family members, especially his parents, the activities he has been involved in since he left Secondary school, Polytechnic or University.. Cos one thing Canada hates is Idleness, you must be responsible and engaged in your home country... So a voluntary service can also play a big role in the absence of a Job... I just saw your post, so I decided to chip in one or two things.. Peace Teemenzo: |
Hello beedyboy How many days are in a year that one needs to wait for 150days to submit the new LOA? Dunno where you got this info from though.. If your delayed application has passed your resumption date, you will need to defer and once your school gives you your new LOA, you will need to submit it asap to avoid the delay of IRCC requesting for it.. Just the way applicants submit Upfront Medicals cos of the delay of Medical Request, that is how it is.. Please do not wait for 150 days before submitting a new LOA, time waits for no one... Peace beedyboy: |
Hello Ohizzy Your profile looks good though, probably you were not convincing enough in your application.. Its one thing to have billions in the account, its another thing to convince the Visa officer that the billions will be readily available for your study in Canada.. You said you applied for your GCMS notes Oct 14th which was yesterday, so lets wait for the GCMS notes to arrive, which will be around Nov 15th 2021. With this I will advise you defer your admission till September next year(forget about January, except you wanna apply blindly) so you can have ample time to prepare a convincing application... Your refusal reason is easy to tackle... As to the lost of your Job, sorry about that.. But hope you have not been Idle since the lost of your Job cos that can count against you, hope you have been involved in some voluntary service and all... But like I said, I wont really talk much for now until when ur GCMS notes arrive, then we will know how to tackle the concerns of the Visa Officer.. I suspect there was a minor concern of the Visa Officer that resulted to your refusal.... A strong and convincing SOP and LOE will do justice to that... So when you have your GCMS notes, drop it here, knowledgeable peeps are here to help you out.. Peace ohizzy: |
Hello Ohizzy, Know this, Canada already have all your documents and details so far you have applied before.. All your document and details are sitting pretty cool in their database.. You do not need to submit any Police report again as it is not a compulsory document.. And for the other documents, you can still submit them again except your refusal reasons were tied to your sponsors, I do not know your refusal reasons so I may not give the appropriate answer to that... But so far you applied this year, you can still submit the same documents... There is no expiring date on the mentioned documents(except Police certificate which is 3 months)... So far you are still using the same sponsor and Co-sponsor and also if the Visa officer did not have any issues with the commitment of your sponsors, then you can re-submit the documents... And as for the comment box, its straightforward, they said if your answer is Yes, give your reasons for the YES you clicked... Peace ohizzy: |
Hello Bank You can start your Visa application now and expect a miracle decision from IRCC before your resumption date in January.. Use your LOA for the January resumption to apply for your Visa, if your resumption day comes without a final decision, you will have to defer to September and send the LOA of September to them via Webform and also Email... But like I said, a miracle can happen for you, Canada may give you a Christmas gift of approval.. So apply now with faith, if you can... Peace Bankkydarry: |
Hello Gbemi Your application was put on hold when they discovered you were owing the crown, now that you have paid, they will continue with the processing of your application.. The wait continues, keep sending them messages as regards your delayed application and hope for a positive final decision... Peace TheGbemisola: |
Hello muhamadnur Why do you wanna use Weac for your second degree when you can use your 1st degree certificate for that purpose... maybe I didnt understand your question though.. And as regards the procedures of applying for a Canadian study permit, do your self some good by reading from the first page of this thread, I bet you would have gathered enough knowledge to apply.. If you are still having difficulties in understanding anything you have read, then you can throw your questions here, I or any of our knowledgeable members here will give answers to your questions. Peace muhamadnur: |
Why are you creating a whatsapp group when this forum is already serving the purpose you wanna create the group for... Or do you guys wanna invite an IRCC Visa officer in the group, since you feel you not getting enough information here? The only peeps permitted to create a group are peeps going to the same school in Canada so they can connect, any other reason is not a reason to create a whatsapp group.. This is a major reason why we have not been getting approval testimonies in this thread of recent, simply because people like you share approval testimony in the whatsapp group thereby gradually killing this thread of Vital information and Timelines... This thread is helping everyone here including newbies and also the gurus,I may be very knowledgeable but at the same time I am still learning here from many peeps on the recent happenings and updates as regards this Canada study application process... Maybe the Gurus will also create their own Whatsapp group since everybody is creating whatapp group here... I don't just understand some peeps here.. Peace kemmyk: |
Noted... Thanks But if an applicant was refused Visa in Germany in the past, the refusal should still be stated when applying for a Canadian Visa though... Peace Enjay316: |
Hello Nkechi CANADA, USA, UK, GERMANY, AUSTRALIA.. You see these countries, they communicate very very well... You see that Infor sharing in the GCMS notes, this is what it is all about.. There share info amongst themselves.. So you as a Canadian study Visa applicant, if you get refused in any of these countries, and you deny it when applying for Canadian Visa, be rest assured Canada will deficiency know... That is why we have seen applicants get 5 year ban for denying the fact that they have been denied Visa in any other country... So when feeling your IRCC form, if you know you have been denied Visa before in any other country, just state it there rather than hiding it.. Peace Nkechi48: |
Congrats on your good news.. Make sure you come back here to drop your Timeline and documents you submitted.. Just your little way to give back to this thread.. Peace iyiolarufai: |
No one gets a mail when Eligibility review starts.. Do not wait in vain for a mail.. peace tourphland: |
Obviously They are on your case... Final stage It will end in praise.. Peace ron5ke: |
Hello Bayor The Visa officer really took his/her time to analyse your application and you must also take your time to give a convincing response to their concerns.. First, you didn't show enough proof to show the relationship between you and your uncle. Convincing the Visa officer of your relationship with a 3rd party sponsor is very very compulsory and important cos the Visa officers always have issues with sponsors that aint parents of the applicant, so 3rd party sponsor application must be really convincing in proofing the relationship of the applicants with the 3rd party sponsor. Add pictures of you and your uncle, or pictures of yourself, your parents and your Uncle, if your uncle has sponsored you in any educational or career activities. Second, the Visa officer is not convinced of the credibility of the financial support of your sponsor, you failed to address what your sponsor does i.e the source of his income.. You will need to submit all his business documents including transaction receipts, CAC documents e.t.c that is if he is a businessman.. If he is working, you will need to submit his Employment letter, Promotion letters, pay slips, official Id Card e.t.c. Thirdly, you failed to convince the Visa Officer that you are established in your home country.. Are you working or you do business, you need to show relevant documents to back up your claims as regards your establishments in your home country. Visa officers do not approve an applicant that isn't well established in his/her home country because they believe such an individual will pose a threat to their beloved country and won't return back to his/her home country after his/her studies in Canada.. So proof to them that you will indeed return back to your country(even though I know you won't) to continue your business or get a better Job with the experience you had gained in Canada or better still build your own company, something just to prove to them that indeed you are gonna come back.. You can submit an Affidavit of Return to convince the Visa Officer.. Lastly, your home ties.. It's kinda related to my third point, prove to them that you have every reason to come back to your home country.. If you are married, your spouse is a strong Home tie, because no one will leave his WIfe or her Hubby in Nigeria and run away.. Also your aged --parents can also be a strong home tie, tell them you are coming back home to reunite with your lovely parents and take good care of them just the way you have been doing before leaving the country for Canada.. If you are a businessman, talk about how important your business is to you, and you wont leave it an stay put in Canada.. e.t.c You know what I am talking about, I shouldn't spoon feed you on everything you should write... Most importantly, you must work on your LOE and SOP.. Even if the applicants have the required documents and fail to convince the Visa officer through the LOE and SOP, it can still lead to a refusal... As we all know, the LOE and SO is the mouth piece of all applicants to the Visa Officer when it comes to Canada study Visa application because there is nothing like a one on one Interview like the way we have it with other Countries... Work on this and re-fire and I believe you will get your Visa this time.. Regards Makano Bayor65: |
Hello Joke To link an application you have in progress to your account, sign in to your account and click on “Link application to this account” under the heading “What would you like to do today?” You will have to state specific information about the application you would like to access. Have a copy of your application form on hand as you will have to enter the information exactly as you did on your application form. Peace Jioke1994: |
