I watched the service live on Emmanuel TV. The message was clear.

My humble interpretation - Buhari's health challenge will incapacitate him to the point that he will not be able to maintain the running of the nation and will be forced to hand over to Osinbajo. This is where the issue of democratic interruption comes in. How will the North handle this? We pray for peace in Nigeria.

The government should please seek TB Joshua's counsel concerning this precarious issue.

Prophet T.B. Joshua released an alarming set of prophecies to his congregation at The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations (SCOAN) on Sunday 19th February 2017, specifically calling for prayer for Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari’s health.

“I have some burning issues which I want to share with you,” Joshua began before breaking his silence on the tensions currently engulfing Nigeria in the wake of Buhari’s prolonged absence on medical leave in the United Kingdom.

“Your president has good intentions,” Joshua calmly stated in a message televised live on the popular Christian channel Emmanuel TV. “Good intentions cannot be carried out alone without good followers”.

Sensing that his message may not be well received by all, the controversial cleric admitted that some would “hate” him for his statements but he was “okay with that”.

“The priority of every Nigerian citizen now is the good health of your President because it can be anyone’s turn tomorrow. What you wish for others, God makes happen to you.”

Calling on congregants to rise up in prayer for President Muhammadu Buhari, he prayed specifically for “strength where is weakness”.

Joshua went further to offer a profound prayer for Nigeria’s democracy. “More importantly, we also have to rise up and pray that the Lord should give us the grace to sustain democracy. Pray for an uninterrupted democracy,” he said, much to the surprise of the congregation.

The cleric then re-echoed his well-publicised prophecy in December 2015 about the devaluation of the Nigerian currency and a widespread scarcity of food.

According to him, the Naira would reach a ratio of 650 to one US Dollar on the black market before it stabilises “if the system agrees with Divine will”. Joshua said these issues would continue to plague the country “until June”.

The cleric further addressed the political crisis engulfing the Democratic Republic of Congo, stating he turned down an invitation from President Joseph Kabila several years earlier to visit the nation as he was “waiting for a revelation from God”.

According to the cleric, he sent a delegation in his stead with a message warning the Congolese government of an impending crisis.

“Pray for God’s intervention in DRC because I am seeing trouble coming – a big trouble,” Joshua stated, also calling on the congregation to pray for parts of Southern Africa affected by natural disasters and against an impending famine in Ethiopia.

Joshua described the bane of the African political sphere as the pursuit of good leaders as opposed to good institutions.

Shedding more light, he said that many African leaders chose cabinet members based on their hefty campaign contributions, as opposed to their qualities and loyalty, a trend that has led many Presidents to be frustrated during their stints in office.

“That someone gives you money does not mean they are your friend,” Joshua explained. “Your enemy can even establish you in a big way for reasons known to him. Why should those in the same political party be fighting themselves?”

Joshua said the lack of right people around a leader has led to both businesses and churches. “The people that represent their branches often crumble their vision,” he described.

According to the Nigerian cleric, “The way out is – as you are growing, take time to train and impart to people. If not, by the time you finish growing, you will end up using an enemy to help you.”

Furthermore, Joshua decried the attitude of blaming a country’s government for an individual’s woes, stating the main challenge was that “the world is running out of ideas”

“Where there is no idea, money is useless,” he counselled. “When you run out of ideas, you begin to imitate others.”

T.B. Joshua wields an immense amount of influence across Africa, largely due to the popularity of his Christian station Emmanuel TV, the proficiency of his prophecies which have allegedly come to pass and his extensive humanitarian endeavours.

Since President Buhari’s departure on a medical vacation to London on January 19th 2017, rumours have been rife as to the true nature of his health predicament.

Did anyone actually WATCH this video? And you think it's all acting? shocked No one can act the pain/ emotion that lady shared in her testimony. I repeat - NO ONE!

It takes more 'faith' to believe all of this was an elaborate stage production than to accept its reality. Look up the Trokosi system online - many girls have shared similar experiences and this child slavery is still happening now.

Let me say it as it is, irrespective of religious or denominational bigotry - GOD BLESS TB Joshua for helping this poor lady...
Christianity EtcTB Joshua EXPOSES Ghanaian Shrine Where Elderly 'priests' Molest Virgin Girls! by Makweembo(op): 10:04am On Jan 30, 2017
A shocking video about Ghana’s ‘trokosi system’ released last week by Nigerian Prophet T.B. Joshua’s YouTube channel ‘Emmanuel TV’ has gone viral.

The clip, titled ‘The Most SHOCKING Confession You May Ever Hear’, chronicles the heart-breaking ordeal of Mary Nenyo from Ghana’s Volta region and has raked up over 130,000 views in just a few days.

Emmanuel TV describes the 66-minute clip as “a bone-chillingly brutal tale of physical, mental, spiritual and sexual slavery that will move even the stoniest of hearts to tears.”

Speaking at The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations (SCOAN) in Lagos, Nigeria, Mary narrated how her family gave her as a “virgin sacrifice” to Korle Shrine in order to “atone for the sin” of her great-great-grandfather which was said to be behind the curse of premature deaths occurring in the family.

“They took me to the riverside and initiated me on a journey of no return… I was then introduced to an old priest as my husband,” she recounted, explaining that all this happened in her tender infancy.

The elderly fetish priest would sexually satisfy himself with Mary at whim along with the other 500 maidens forcefully ‘imprisoned’ in the shrine.

“The priest would just point at you. He could call us chicken, goat or cow – because we were cows to him - then, he would sleep with us just like that,” she tearfully described.

Her duties included preparing ‘charms’ for people seeking protection at the shrine and beseeching the gods that more sin be committed so more innocent virgins could be entrapped into the vicious cycle.

As Mary grew older, she broke protocol by taking ventures outside the shrine’s confines, one day being spotted naked by a group of foreign tourists who took her picture.

Six months later, her ‘freedom’ was procured by the foreigners in conjunction with an NGO called ‘International Needs’, leading to the release of the 500 young girls who were in ritual servitude at the shrine.

However, physical liberation did not stop Mary from a living a life of spiritual slavery. Unable to trace her real family, Mary moved to 11 different locations but continued to experience “a series of rejection, maltreatment and abuse”.

Men had an unnerving sexual attraction for her and exploited her innocence at will. “The demons would enter the men and make them sleep with me,” she stated, adding that each promiscuous encounter was followed by dismissal and hatred from the men involved.

Plagued by terrible nightmares of snakes and increasing mental instability, Mary eventually found herself begging on the streets for survival at Madina Market in Accra. There, she finally met a ‘Good Samaritan’ and narrated her sordid story to her.

“She said that the only person would could deliver me from all those demons was Prophet T.B. Joshua,” Mary explained, adding that the lady fully paid for her journey from Ghana to The SCOAN in Lagos, Nigeria.

After Mary was ‘delivered’ from the “demons that held her in bondage”, she stayed in the church for several weeks. “Before, I never knew I was a normal human being,” she testified, stating that she could sleep peacefully for the first time in her life after prayer.

T.B. Joshua used his influence and resources to locate Mary’s long-lost mother, who was residing in Ivory Coast, and brought her to Nigeria to meet with her daughter in an emotional reconciliation.

The SCOAN additionally gave $1,500 to Mary to start her life afresh. “I have seen powers upon powers but there is a power beyond powers - the God who used Prophet T.B. Joshua to liberate me from darkness,” the former slave concluded.

The video evoked a storm of reactions, with several of Joshua’s foreign supporters calling on the Ghanaian government to take urgent steps to address the “inhumane treatment” still being experienced by victims of the Trokosi system.

Christianity EtcVIDEO: Girl Who "Cries Blood" by Makweembo(op): 1:45pm On Jan 06, 2017

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=atHpe-m4C4I

A YouTube video has emerged showing a young South African teen’s purported ‘deliverance’ at a Lagos-based church from a rare medical condition that caused her to cry actual tears of blood.

“Shedding tears of real blood, molested by strange creatures in the dream, raped and abused countless times by perverted men, the life of Hope was filled by a devilish form of tragedy from day one,” reads the description of the viral clip published by Emmanuel TV.

In a tearful testimony, Hope recounts how she began bleeding through her eyes, ears and other extremities in her early teenage years after several horrific nightmares involving strange “demonic creatures”.

“People were running away from me,” she reminisced, “they started calling me a devil’s child.” The ‘condition’ became so severe that Hope was “kicked out of school” and spent most of the time in isolation due to the shame and rumors that spread in its wake.

Several attempts at suicide revealed the deep depression which had engulfed her. Amidst the strange “spiritual attacks” which included menstruating for up to 40 days without ceasing and her hair inexplicably starting to fall off, Hope was also raped on three different occasions.

After exhausting all medical options, Hope and her mother decided to pay a visit to The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations (SCOAN) in Lagos, Nigeria, famed for its purported ability to cure a diverse range of ‘spiritual’ ailments.

During the time of prayer in one of T.B. Joshua’s services, Hope said she was ‘delivered’, the video showing the ‘demon’ purportedly behind her bizarre affliction being commanded out and the young girl collapsing to the floor.

A year later, Hope returned to the popular church looking completely transformed and testifying to the remarkable changes in her life.
“Whenever I cry, I look at my tears and say, ‘Thank You, Jesus’,” she told the congregation, attesting to the fact that she had stopped crying blood ever since the prayer she received at The SCOAN.

Emmanuel TV’s YouTube channel has up to 450,000 subscribers and has gained a reputation for releasing controversial footage which attracts both commendation and condemnation from its viewers.

THE FAKE PROPHECY ABOUT TB JOSHUA’S DEATH IS NOT FROM ME
“I was shocked to see my picture posted everywhere online today, claiming that I predicted the death of T.B. Joshua amidst other supposed revelations for 2017. I am crying out to the world to help me because I am NOT the person who said this. They used my picture but the false prophecy does not come from me. Someone used my picture and credited this fake prophecy to me. I am shocked to see it! Let T.B. Joshua know that this is not from me and someone used my picture. The same thing will happen to the person who credited this fake prophecy to me – which I know nothing about. As he wishes a prophet of God, so it shall happen to him.

“I implore all the news sites and blogs who published the fake prophecy - Naij.com, Daily Post, Pulse, Linda Ikeji and others I cannot mention – to help retract this story immediately. It’s not from me although it is my picture. I am shocked! If anyone can help me, please help me to reach T.B. Joshua – because I am ashamed to say I want to reach him with this lie credited to me. I know he is a prophet of God and God will reveal to him that I am not the one; they only used my picture.

“This is my advice to bloggers – don’t use any story you see on another website without confirming from the person concerned. If you cannot reach the person who sent the message, don’t publish it – the person is faceless. Confirm everything before you publish it. This is a case of ‘Touch not My Anointed and do My Prophet no harm’. This is a curse!”

Christianity EtcWATCH: The Video That's Making Grown Men Cry! by Makweembo(op): 10:16pm On Dec 26, 2016

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LfsEPe_J8fU

A surreal video released on YouTube by Emmanuel TV, the popular channel of Nigerian Pastor T.B. Joshua, has elicited a storm of emotional reactions online.

The clip titled ‘SHOCKING: Living With A CURSED CORPSE’, chronicles the strange account of an elderly woman forced to live with the body of her late daughter for a harrowing fourteen months, accused of being the ‘witch’ responsible for the spate of untimely deaths in her family.

“This is not a fairytale story,” the description of the video reads, “but a real-life, gruesome account of superstition, sorcery and surreal spiritual manipulation.”

After hearing of the octogenarian’s sordid ordeal from an in-law, Joshua invited her from Akwa-Ibom State, Nigeria and declared her innocent of the accusation of witchcraft, leading the congregation in prayers on his knees for forgiveness.

A church team subsequently followed Mrs Atta back to her village, organised a befitting burial for the deceased and conveyed the message that the elderly woman was innocent of all devilish activities blamed on her.

Reactions to the lengthy clip were emotion-laden. “I’m a big man but I cried my eyes out while watching this video,” wrote Stephen Mammburu from South Africa. “There are too many sad and evil things happening out there. Just because we don’t come across them doesn’t mean that it’s not happening.”

“I never been so touched and cried like that,” stated Josi Josi, another YouTube viewer. “May God Almighty forgive our faithless generation,” she concluded.

Yamikani Yotamu from Zambia bluntly stated, “I am a man but this made me cry. How do we treat our old mothers like this? God sees!”

A user going by the name of ‘Les Jeunes Thugs’ blamed the incident on primitive superstition.“Thank you TB Joshua – but look at this nonsense which Africa believes. Oh, tears are running down my cheeks!”

However, not all viewers were unanimous in their praise for Joshua’s intervention, Niki Tennison arguing the clip was nothing more than “morbid sensationalism” and not something to be aired publicly.

Emmanuel TV has gained a reputation for releasing controversial YouTube clips, racking up a whopping 450,000 subscribers in the process.

TravelMigrants Narrate Near-death Experiences by Makweembo(op): 11:42pm On Oct 18, 2016
As the world grapples to handle Europe's worst migrant crisis, over 3,500 have died attempting to cross the Mediterranean Sea in 2016.

While headlines report on the statistics of migrants who sentence themselves to death in search of better economic opportunities in Europe, the personal and distressing narratives of those who make these journeys often remain untold.

The Synagogue Church Of All Nations (SCOAN), a Lagos based church, has found itself continuously coming to the aid of deportees, who, after making these regrettable journeys, visit the church in need of financial and psychological support.

On Sunday 16th October 2016, a group of Nigerian deportees from Libya revealed appalling details of inhumane circumstances they encountered on their journeys to enter Europe through North Africa and across the Mediterranean.

Tracy Stephen, a 23-year-old from Edo State, Nigeria, tearfully spoke on behalf of the group of 52 at The SCOAN during a live broadcast on Emmanuel TV. She recollected horrific details of torture, abuse and starvation which included - drinking water from a well with a corpse inside, nearly suffocating while hiding in a truck covered with watermelons as camouflage and witnessing teenage girls raped at gunpoint by their traffickers.

Lucky to be alive, her attempt to reach Italy was almost fatal when the over-filled rubber dinghy she had boarded ran out of fuel. "There were no life-jackets and none of us could swim," she said, adding that children and babies were among the 140 crammed onboard.

Finally rescued by the Libyan Coast Guard, she was imprisoned for three months before being repatriated to Nigeria through the intervention of the International Organization for Migration (IOM), who subsequently provided a vehicle to bring the deportees to The SCOAN in recognition of the church's humanitarian efforts.

Stephen's narrative was one of many disturbing stories recounted, including a lady whose two children had to drink her urine to survive. While the congregants and viewers of Emmanuel TV were shocked to hear such horrific accounts, T.B. Joshua warned those who were on the verge of making similar journeys. "It is where God wants you to make it that you will make it, not where you want to make it or where you admire," he counselled.

In support of the downtrodden deportees, T.B. Joshua presented gifts amounting to N10,000,000 (US$33,000), each of the group receiving N150,000 (US$500) alongside two bags of rice to "start their lives afresh."

Where is the evidence some commanders of BH were actually released?

It's not enough to say "according to those close to the negotiation, some terrorists were released..."

Who are "those close to the negotiation"?
Strong indications have emerged that troops and security personnel involved in the ongoing counter-terrorism campaign against Boko Haram are unhappy with the release of five top Boko Haram commanders, Saturday PUNCH has learnt.

The commanders were said to have been released in exchange for the 21 of the Chibok schoolgirls who regained their freedom on Thursday.

Some security personnel, who confided in one of our correspondents, said that while the return of the girls is worth celebrating, those in the armed services are not pleased with what Nigeria gave in exchange for the girls.

Christianity EtcMuslim Concern: John Kerry Visits Only Muslim Community by Makweembo(op): 10:53am On Sep 07, 2016
Professor of Islamic Eschatology and Director of Muslim Rights Concern, Ishaq Akintola, has spoken out about the controversies surrounding the recent visit of US Secretary of State John Kerry to Nigeria.

In an interview with The Sunday Punch, Akintola responded to the criticism of Kerry´s meeting with Northern Governors and the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar by the Christian Association of Nigeria.

According to Akintola, Kerry “did not come with a religious agenda but a humanitarian one”, adding that his primary discussions were based on aid for Boko Haram victims.

“John Kerry came to assess the extent of damage in Boko Haram-ravaged North-East. To achieve his objective, it is only normal that he visited Northern governors and the Sultan as the rallying point of northern traditional rulers.”

He added that the influx of Western leaders visiting The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations (SCOAN) in Lagos has never been criticized by Muslim leaders, who actually embrace the development such visits bring for the country and its image internationally.

“Why would the Muslim community raise any eyebrow if (John) Kerry or any other Western figure attends a Christian conference or night vigil”, he questioned.

“What have the Muslims ever said about Westerners and their leaders attending TB Joshua’s Synagogue? We see it as a good development, a foreign exchange earner and a return match.”

Akintola referred to statistics released by the Nigerian Immigration Service which revealed that six out of every ten foreigners visiting Nigeria are bound for TB Joshua´s popular Lagos based church, perhaps the most prominent Nigerian ministry that is not a member of CAN.

He further added that the issue was too ‘peripheral’ for Nigerians to waste time on. “I bet White House must be laughing its heads off over this,” he surmised.

The fiery Professor quoted the Bible in expressing his frustration with Nigeria´s foremost Christian body. “CAN is not upholding the tenets of Christianity… But most Nigerians know the truth and the truth has set them free.”

BusinessSouth African Rand Leads Currency Gains: BLOOMBERG by Makweembo(op): 10:28am On Sep 07, 2016
The rand strengthened the most in three months, leading global currency gains after data showed South Africa’s economy expanded more than forecast in the second quarter while the trade balance swung to a surplus for the first time in more than a year.

The rand gained 2.6 percent to 14.0062 against the dollar at 4:40 p.m. in Johannesburg, the most since June 3 and the biggest gain among more than 150 currencies tracked by Bloomberg. Yields on benchmark government bonds due Dec. 2026 fell 14 basis points to 8.73 percent, the lowest since August 23 on a closing basis.

Signs of a rebound in Africa’s most-industrialized economy coincided with weaker-than-expected data in the U.S., keeping prospects of a Federal Reserve rate increase this month low and boosting demand for higher-yielding emerging-market assets. South Africa’s gross domestic product rose an annualized 3.3 percent in the second-quarter, beating expectations for a 2.6 percent expansion and avoiding a recession after a 1.2 percent contraction in the previous three months. The country posted a trade surplus of 33.3 billion rand ($2.4 billion) as the value of exports rose at a faster rate than imports.

“The improvements observed in South Africa’s terms of trade picture in recent months is probably the most encouraging aspect of today’s GDP release and should bode in favor of narrowing the country’s still elevated external account imbalances,” Jeffrey Schultz, economist at BNP Paribas Securities in Johannesburg, said in an e-mailed note. “This has the potential to provide some near-term respite for the rand which has recently been negatively impacted by unfortunate political uncertainty.”

Christianity EtcHow Much Did TB Joshua Give Nigeria’s Olympic Team? by Makweembo(op): 12:27am On Aug 24, 2016
Just a few weeks ago, the Nigerian Olympic Team made headlines when it was reported that the football team was stuck at the Hartfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, due to the non-payment of their airfare. The reports basically called out the Nigerian Ministry of Youth and Sports as responsible for the unpaid flight bill.

Thankfully, we have been seeing Nigeria represented in various sporting competitions at the Olympics in Rio, including football where they emerged bronze medallists. So, this morning while watching NTA, it was to my surprise when during an interview the Minister of Sports, Solomon Dalong, and the Nigerian Ambassador to Brazil, Adamu Emozozo, lauded – none other than – Pastor T.B. Joshua for his ‘moral’ and ‘financial’ contributions to the Nigerian Olympic Team. (For those of you not convinced, I found the clip on YouTube.)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xwG-mrBUs3U

My surprise was not actually based on the said ‘support’ provided by T.B. Joshua because his track-record of assistance when it comes to Nigerian sports is proven and he is said to be a sport enthusiast. My shock, however, was borne out of the fact that the Nigerian Government actually pointed him out, recognised and appreciated him – something very unusual! The discussion broadcast on NTA did not delve into the specific details of what that ‘contribution’ actually entails. However, for the Minister of Sports as well as the Ambassador to Brazil to specifically point the cleric out, in the manner in which they did, the ‘support’ was evidently far beyond ‘spiritual’ assistance in terms of prayer or prophecy. There must have been some HUGE financial backing from the pastor.

Why do I say this?

1. T.B. Joshua has been previously, on numerous occasions, applauded for his active support to the Nigerian sport scene. Remember when the late Shaibu Amodu publicly thanked Joshua (at The SCOAN) for his prayers and support – which he said was instrumental to Nigeria’s miraculous qualification for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa?

2. The late Stephen Keshi was said to have been in regular contact with TB Joshua during Nigeria’s 2013 AFCON games, where Nigeria later triumphed. Interestingly, Joshua ‘prophesied’ the outcome of the final between Burkina Faso and Nigeria; and as an aside, one of the key Super Eagle’s players during the 2013 AFCON matches was Ogenyi Onazi, a former member of Joshua’s grassroots football team, My People FC. Incidentally, a brief check reveals that My People FC has just been promoted to Nigeria’s Premier League, having secured back-to-back promotion for the last three years running in Nigeria’s amateur leagues.

Still on Joshua’s record in the sports scene … 3. Remember the gifts totalling up to N60,000,000 he donated to the Nigerian Paralympian’s who made our nation proud in the Commonwealth Games? 4. Putting Nigeria aside, recall the role T.B. Joshua played in Ghana’s historic U-20 World Cup win? The coach Sellas Tetteh publicly acknowledged his spiritual guidance, especially in the final against Brazil. This is to mention just a few.

Why am I reminding you of all this? Throughout Joshua’s ‘support’ over the years, there has been no mention of him (whatsoever!) by those in government. No acknowledgement. No gratitude. No vote of thanks. Nothing. Now in Rio, there’s suddenly a deluge of praise. Well, I am not surprised because I have it on good knowledge, from a reliable source (a Nigerian based in Brazil who worked as a volunteer during the Olympics), that T.B. Joshua gave close to $60,000 to the Nigerian Olympic team! No wonder Ambassador Adamu Emozozo called him a “flagbearer” for Nigeria in terms of supporting good causes.

Maybe these vote of thanks from the Nigerian Government also come as they see how Nigeria’s wealthy make promises they do not keep to the nation’s sportsmen, as was reported (2 days ago) by a BBC Sport reporter. So, what’s the message I’m attempting to convey here? Well, it is time that we appreciate our own. Nigeria, encourage your stars, encourage your talents and this will see us rise higher. I rest my case…

This man never ceases to amaze me... (TB Joshua, not Dalong smiley )

He must have given HUGE to be accorded such thanks. Most of his other philanthropic gestures seem to go un-noticed and un-appreciated by the Nigerian government...

TB Joshua Female Scholar Makes Nigeria Proud In Oxford University (VIDEO)

A prodigious Nigerian student is proudly flying the flag for both country and continent in the University of Oxford, United Kingdom.

Olayinka Oduwole has been highlighted as the sole African representative in Oxford University’s ‘Woman In Engineering’, a list containing just 25 female scholars who are excelling in their chosen fields.

“I have been privileged to meet enormously gifted personalities, who are not just academically strong but with ambition to change the world in which they live and leave a permanent footprint in history,” Olayinka wrote in her profile, featured prominently on the University of Oxford’s Department of Engineering Science website.

The University of Lagos graduate is at the tailend of a Ph.D. program at Kellogg College, Oxford, after the completion of a successful Master’s degree at University College London, UK.

In contrast to several Nigerian prodigies who are functioning abroad, Oduwole has already stated her resolve to use her invaluable experience to develop her country of origin.

“I intend to use my skills to help encourage young ones in my country into pursuing science and engineering; I intend to help revive the declining state of research in my country,” Olayinka stated on the Oxford University website, who used her as an example of an African student who was excelling amidst the competitive environment of the prestigious university.

The story of Olayinka is inspirational to say the least. From a poverty-stricken home, she was working diligently in church when spotted by Nigerian Pastor and philanthropist, T.B. Joshua.

Recognising her academic prowess and her meagre financial backing, the cleric sponsored her tertiary education in its totality.

“What you make happen for others, God will make happen for you,” Joshua told congregants when announcing he was supporting the young student with £100,000 (N45,000,000) to pursue her Ph.D. in Oxford in 2012.

In a clip uploaded to Joshua’s official YouTube channel Emmanuel TV, Olayinka gives clear advice to her fellow students seeking academic success: “Pray as if everything depends on God and work as if everything depends on you.”

With graduation around the corner, a bright future lies squarely ahead for the young Nigerian engineer.

Christianity EtcRe: Gotv Rewards Customers - Emmanuel TV And Supersport Blitz Added To Lite by Makweembo: 9:47pm On Jun 28, 2016
Wow. This is great news!

I think GOtv must have been under a lot of pressure from people calling in to bring Emmanuel TV to that cheaper package.
Emmanuel Tv is rapidly becoming the most popular religious station.
I think since it has been added to GOtv and DSTV, their sales have risen dramatically.
They were even using the image of the prophet T.B. Joshua to sell DSTV decoders.

I wonder whether DSTV or GOtv are paying Emmanuel TV for increasing their customers ;-)
Anyway, TBJ is not so interested in money...

wow, that's fantastic and the Lite package is extremely economical
nearly anyone can afford it!
In Nigeria, it is only N1,050 every three months!

Christianity EtcTB Joshua Assists In Arresting Armed Robber In Ghana! by Makweembo(op): 9:56am On May 17, 2016
A shocking new twist has emerged in the tale of the armed robber who was re-arrested in Ghana on Monday, May 16 2016 after controversially absconding under police guard.

According to a Facebook post by popular Nigerian ‘Prophet’ T.B. Joshua, the detainment of the notorious suspect in his hometown of Kwetri-Adentia had surprisingly ‘spiritual’ undertones.

Kweku Yeboah, the alleged leader of a brutal robbery attack near Sunyani, Ghana on Monday, May 2, 2016, escaped from police custody several days later whilst being nursed at a hospital for injuries he sustained during the incident.

With the suspect on the loose and fear rife in the community, the policeman under whose watch Yeboah escaped was instantly implicated and given a ten-day ultimatum to produce him or face disciplinary action.

According to Joshua’s Facebook page, the policeman in question decided to seek ‘divine intervention’ by visiting Joshua’s church after six days of frantic searching had elapsed without any sign of success.

“I had a suspect escape from my custody in the hospital when I was detailed to guide him,” Constable Edwin Akpalu is seen narrating in an accompanying video uploaded to Facebook, adding that he faced expulsion from the police and a probable prison sentence.

The policeman vividly detailed how Yeboah, who escaped from the handcuffs which were tied to his hospital bed, covered himself with a white bed sheet whilst fleeing in the dead of night.

Akpalu had attempted to shoot the suspect as he was running hurriedly away but held back as a nurse was moving along the same corridor, fearing he might kill an innocent health official.

“Some friends advised me to go for black magic, which I was contemplating,” the constable admitted as days passed without any signs of Yeboah’s recapture.

“I told my dad about the issue. He told me I should not go and kneel down to any black power because God is the final authority, that I should come to The SCOAN to see Senior Prophet T.B. Joshua and whatever he says is final.”

According to the Facebook post, Joshua sent a message to the embattled constable, assuring him that the suspect would be apprehended as he had been ‘chained spiritually’, proceeding to cover his transport costs with a gift of $1,000.

Akpalu collapsed on the floor upon hearing Joshua’s pronouncement. “Thank you Prophet T.B. Joshua for vindicating me, or else four days from now, I would be in jail,” he tearfully acknowledged.

The re-arrest of Yeboah is seen as a confirmation of Joshua’s ‘prophecy’. It comes on the heels of the cleric’s prediction of an impending terrorist attack in Ghana which made headline news across the country last month.
